One day Jake’s gonna be on that list. No doubt of it.

# 4

Jennifer Aniston? What a joke.

# 5

tiger woods rocks earning 112 million last year!

He has been number two on this list for something like the last four or five years and Oprah has been nuumber one. Sorry Tiger, as long as there is an Oprah, you’ll always be number 2.

Okay, I know I’m guilty of stirring the pot here, but . . .

Last year Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston were tied for 35th place.

This year AJ is #14 and Aniston is #44.

And those are two very different power/career trajectories.

I think if you remove the Brad Pitt factor (which, don’t kid yourselves, IS a factor) the plain truth is that Angelina Jolie is a bonafide movie star, with talent and increasing successes, whereas Jennifer Aniston was a beloved television star who hasn’t quite manifested as a true movie star. She has celebrity, she has projects, she’s well liked, but she is never going to be a major movie star.

Whatever your personal views on the woman may be, AJ is gaining in power, influence and sucess, and Aniston is waning. She’s never going to be broke or anything - but her career has already peaked.

So Angie moved 30 steps forward and Jen moved 30 steps back. Nothing Haters say will EVER change that.

Bravo - Well said Ace Tomato!

Well if we were forming our fantasy female celebrity teams, I have to say that I would love to see Oprah, Madonna and Angie do a humanitarian project of some kind together in Africa. That would just be the ultimate awesomeness :-)

And of course Brad, U2, and Will Smith with the One Campaign is the best fantasy male celebrity team I could ask for!

Jessica Simpson, Vince Vaughn, Michelle Wie, Hilary Duff.. How they make the list? Lol

Vince Vaughn is ahead of Will Smith? WTF?

Ace Tomato | 06/15/2007 at 12:40 am

Well said !one is gaining momentum and the other one is waning. that’s the cycle of life. haters, we know its painful, but that’s the way it goes.

two favorite moments when looking at the
Forbes list: Brad and Johnny beating Cruise and AJ leaving JA in the dust. Beautiful.:)

Power = money? Who cares.

[Famous Fug Face] @ 06/15/2007 at 1:29 am

I wonder who’s films in total grossed more money Brad, Tom, or Johnny?

I think that an easy one. Lol

why’s keira knightley up there? she hasn’t done anything this year to warrant her name up there, maybe the whole “i’m not a plastic bag” thing she started got her on it.

Where is Wentworth Miller ??????

Passing Through @ 06/15/2007 at 1:59 am

Would someone please explain to me how in the fcuk X had income last year? B#tch didn’t have a job. I guess those Friends got one hell of a deal on the syndication residuals!

BBperfume @ 06/15/2007 at 2:01 am

I’m surprised that Jay-Z made the top cut, while beyonce is not mentioned. Anybody could spot her in the list. At least B i more influential than Jay-Z and she has a fortune, why isn’t here in the list? So much for Jay who’s getting credit for riding on other ppl’s successes…

I was trying to surf through the list, but my computer kept on crashing! Thanks for writing out list Jared! And Hayden Panettiere? She’s cute and I love Heroes, but I wouldn’t classify her one of the world’s most powerful celebrities.

Ooops, I meant that I was originally trying to surf through the list one page at a time on the Forbes site! You made it much more easier!

angelina is up there only because of one reason, and everyone knows this including AJ, the manstealer. BRAD PITT Admit it. LMFAO!

pity partier should be #1000th
