Brad Pitt and 5-year-old son Maddox apparently walked into sci-fi-themed eatery Mars 2112 like regulars and waited in line like the rest of the patrons.
Papa Pitt patiently waited in line for the spaceship ride for Maddox. Admission price? $2!
In a couple years from now, Brad will have to start making reservations.

Angelina Jolie took pity on a member of the paparazzi on Thursday, giving a lift to a photographer whose bike suffered a flat tire.
“She was one of the nicest people I have ever met. And it was one of the most surreal experiences of my life,” said 27-year-old Splash News snapper James Ambler of his 30-minute car ride with the actress.
The London native had been following Jolie on his bicycle — which allows him to easily move in and out of traffic — when he accidentally ran over a nail.
“When I realized I’d got a puncture I thought I was going to lose her and not get any pictures.”
“The next thing I know, Angelina’s car is pulling over,” he said. “Angelina winds her window down and says ‘Lance, why don’t you jump in the car?’”
The 32-year-old A Mighty Heart star told him that she and her family were so impressed that he was able to keep up with the car, they had nicknamed him Lance after cyclist Lance Armstrong.
“She said, ‘We love having you riding alongside us. You’re always happy, always smiling. The kids enjoy watching you whizzing along on your bike.’”
Even after he’d climbed into the actress’ car, the photographer remained dumbstruck.
“I got in and said, ‘This is so strange’,” James recalled. “She just laughed and said, ‘Well, it’s a strange world we live in.’”
The snapper said Jolie was “really chatty” and asked him questions about himself and his job and where he was from.
She even told him she and boyfriend Brad Pitt, 43, don’t understand why they were such hot property and asked which one of them made the best picture.
“She said, ‘Brad and I always wonder which one of us is the priority,’” James revealed.
“She said, ‘We just don’t understand why people always want to take our picture. We never go out drinking or anything like that.’”
“I just laughed and said ‘Well, you are quite popular, Angelina. I don’t know how you do it, smiling for the cameras all the time.”
“She just said it was part of the job.”
He concluded: “I think she took a bit of a shine to me. Brad better watch out!”

I’m a little late in the day getting here, but really love these pics/vids of Brad and Maddox having some father/son time together. I think it’s great that Brad and Angie make a point of getting some one on one time with each of their children, and I have no doubt that the kids really appreciate it. They are so aware that kids can often feel lost in the crowd in a big family and they do everything they can to give each child what they need. These kids are so lucky to have such wonderful parents!
As for ‘that’s all’s supposition that Angie regrets getting involved with Brad? Ahahahahaha! That is the funniest thing I’ve heard all day! It is so obvious that they both feel this is the best decision they have EVER made - to be together and raise their children. As Angie said recently, they took a leap of faith and were fortunate that they turned out to be everything that the other thought were and more. What more do you want?
Joy - saw your shout out a couple of threads back, and no, you are NOT just talking to yourself! I can only speak for myself in saying that I love reading all of the fans’ posts here, whether they are young or old, a new poster or an old poster - I don’t discriminate based on someone’s age, their nationality, language, or whether they’ve been here a long time or not. ALL of the fans of the Jolie-Pitt’s have something worthwhile to say and it saddens me when people are made to feel that their opinion is less important (which is exactly how I think Angie would see it too!). And you shouldn’t be discouraged from expressing your opinion just because it doesn’t follow the ’status quo’ of the other fans either. It’s never stopped Angie and it shouldn’t stop you I just wish I had more time to comment to more of you on how much I enjoy all the awesome posts here.

I have loved Brad Pitt since “Legends of the Fall”. But his role as a father to 4 children is what impresses me most. Angie & Brad’s family life is hectic, but they have truly amazed me at their ability to love & care for these children. Initially I had my doubts, but those have been dispelled by all the love & devotion they have given their children. Brad is the sexiest daddy alive!

Toooo CUTE! That kid is adorable! I like that it is a Brad and Maddox day, like old times, it has got to be good for Maddox to have one-on-one time with Brad like that.
And for all the people that wonder why these two are always carrying their kids around. The last few pics are the answer. Can you even begin to imagine if Maddox or Pax or Good Lord poor little Zahara were walking along and one of those insane paps totally tripped right over them and smashed them, not paying attention the way they step all over each other. I would carry my kids all the time too.
Ugh! They are saints for having so much calm and patience for putting up with so many photographers following them every where. I do enjoy seeing pictures of the family out and about doing normal things, but I must remember what it took for those pictures to be seen by people from all over. I am so torn!

Attention true Brad and Angie fans,
A lot of wonderful, decent, warm-hearted folks on these threads.

She posts also as numerous other aliases and attacks Brange and the kids for anything and everything while praising Jen for same.
And she gets away with it!
No one can argue with her–she complains and reports and somehow gets them kicked off the site.

Angelina Jolie’s Anti-Press Touches Nerve
Our report yesterday about Angelina Jolie banning press from interviews and requiring interviewers to sign contracts touched off a firestorm. Mostly it was from colleagues who were relieved that we’d finally lifted the veil on all this craziness.
And it wasn’t just about FOX News getting banned from the red carpet. That was bad, but it wasn’t the central issue. Jolie treats all the press with hostility unless she can control the outcome of an interaction. Insisting interviewers sign contracts was an affront, considering that her movie is about the murder of a reporter who tried bravely to do his job. And then to pretend empathy by raising money at the movie for Reporters Without Borders. The hypocrisy and arrogance were overwhelming.
The fact is, Angelina Jolie — despite her posturing as Goodwill Ambassador to the world — is just like everyone else. She’s only different in that she’s created rules for herself that are so far beyond the norm of self-absorbed celebrity nuttiness, that she finally went too far.
It’s too bad, because Michael Winterbottom’s “A Mighty Heart,” which opens next Friday, is really a wonderful film that should be seen by the widest possible audience. That’s why what’s happened is so frustrating: it’s not like Jolie was in a bomb and needed to protect herself.
Of course, then I got reports from last night’s red carpet. It turns out that Jolie simply skipped the entire print area of the carpet, which means she didn’t give interviews for her own film to the many very nice, well-mannered print reporters from magazines and daily newspapers who wait patiently with tape recorders to ask completely innocuous questions like “What are you wearing?” and “How’s Shiloh?”
It’s a good thing Jolie has an Oscar (for “Girl Interrupted”). She will find no support next fall when she wants a nomination for playing Mariane Pearl. There has hardly been a less sympathetic actress in recent history. Even Russell Crowe knows how to be charming when he has to.
Still, there is plenty in “Mighty Heart” to admire and reward, not the least of which is Winterbottom’s direction. He turns what could have been a dead end of a story into an absorbing thriller. And he gets good stuff from his two supporting actors, Dan Futterman and Irfan Khan. None of that can be overlooked.
Jolie’s defense this morning is that a) her lawyer was overzealous with the journalists’ contract; and b) an “oversight” caused FOX News not to be invited to the red carpet. Both the lawyer, Robert Offer, and Paramount Pictures, are ready to fall on their swords for the star.
But neither statement is even remotely true. Jolie, the Ambassador, would never let her attorney distribute a contract without approval. And the good folks at Paramount Vantage know all too well what really happened. They cannot be blamed.
So do see “A Mighty Heart’ next Friday when it’s released. We owe it to Daniel Pearl, and to Mariane and the son Daniel never got to meet. But let’s not forget that it’s a movie, and that actors are playing parts. They are separable from the real people whose lives they conveying. It’s important to remember that, and to observe that in this case, the actor learned nothing from the experience.
Meanwhile, thanks to the New York Times’s Sharon Waxman, who simply stole our story from yesterday, including the news of the contract from Robert Offer, without giving any credit except to elicit a denial from Paramount. Really, really lame.

I watched both interviews last night. Kudos to Larry King for his thoughtful questions and Angelina was beautiful and articulate. Jon Stewart was funny and adoring as expected.
We’re going to miss the family after all this publicity, but they have worked hard and deserve a long rest. They would do well with a month in the Caribbean where Angelina can rejuvenate and eat well.
Just popped back in to see this ridiculous article by some dude Friedman. Can’t you take it to the thread for this topic? Yes, there’s a whole thread in which to discuss it. But since it’s here, I have to say that there are two things about it that are laughable:
1. Saying that the reporters are waiting with “innocuous” questions. AS IF! She can’t go a day without being asked if she’s pregnant or adopting. You’re trying to tell us that THESE reporters are going to be any different?
2. The statement that her lawyer would release the contract without Angie’s approval. Lawyers do stupid things on their client’s behalf, and ‘in their best interest’ all the time. Are we to believe that Friedman has a hotline to Angie’s thoughts and knows with a scintilla of doubt that she would not let that happen? Again, AS IF!
Even a day later, Friedman seems to have missed the whole point, which was that they wanted the focus to stay on the film. Angie is damned if she does, and damned if she doesn’t. Objective reporting? Not in the least…
