OMG, this is the stupidest thing ever, haha!! Yes, Angelina DOES have emapathy for “real journalists” because she knows what a real journalist really is. She knows the difference between hack gossip writers who cobble together stories and those who are truly out in the field doing dangerous work and putting together legitimate news.

You Jenhens can stay all up in arms over the delicate little feelings of the spurned gossip writers who fancy themselves to be “journalists” but most of us know better. This incident is a nonstory. Completely unimportant.

Now frankly, I do think the gag order agreement from the NYC Premiere has Brad’s fingerprints all over it. Now, now, don’t get all jumpy on me about it, I’m not attacking Brad in any way, it’s just that it’s known that he has put similar agreements out there before for himself, specifically for his O12 and MAMS press junkets in 2005, and Angie has never done this…so I see it as possibly Brad’s influence coming into play and an act that started out as him wanting to put something out there to protect her and guard the movie (he is producer, you know) got worded too strongly and misperceived. It could have been something that just started out as a suggestion from him that went out of control once the lawyers got ahold of it and drew up the document. I am sure Brad is angry at all the unnecessary hoopla made over nothing, and he also knows it is best to let Angie handle it herself…if he were to jump on the bandwagon now it would only blow up more.

Brad and Angie seem to be determined to be seen as separate people who happen to be in love and raising a family. They don’t want to be thought of as “Brangelina”, they want to keep their own distinct indentities, which I am glad to see, myself. I don’t want them to morph into each other like some kind of two-headed monster. When this whole thing blew up, who knows, Angie could have insisted on handling it herself, (can’t you see her saying to him, “Uh uh, baby, I got this”? I can! haha!!) because as someone already said, she doesn’t need a knight in shining armor to swoop in and rescue her. She has always handled her own battles, and Brad is strong enough to let her do it. Besides, if this were truly a BIG thing (which it ain’t) Brad would pounce…but he doesn’t need to. He can sit back and proudly watch his Mama Tiger squish the annoying mouse (or should I say Fox?) without his help.

He’d help her if she needed it, but seriously it probably isn’t as big a deal to them as the haters want to make it out to be.

Please I need your confirmation:

This Friedman who criticized Angie. Is he the same Friedman, the International Policy expert.

I am in the process of reading his book. If this is the same man who immaturely criticized Angie, I will stop reading his book right NOW.

Please someone clarify it for me.

I’ve done the same with Oprah. I use to take whatever Oprah had to say as the gospel truth. After having 3 pity parties for the THAT lady within a span of 1 and half years. I started taking whatever Oprah had to say with a lot of SALT. Not that I don’t like THAT woman, I felt Oprah was taking her audience for GRANTED!!!

Why some of you are so pissed with him? why he has to defend her when is her that gets in trouble all by herself?

1. India: Mickey has a history to bully people, he does it all the time, only here he got caught on tape. Mickey is angelina’s bodyguard and she won’t fire him even if he kills a child in front of her, how is that brad’s fault?
2. India 2: the bodyguards at the “bloody indians” incidents were angelina’a bodyguards. I think most people know that indian people are ULTRA sensitive and LOVE to make a big deal out of everything. Brad had to step up because the local indian production doing the work did a very bad job, it was their fault but brad as the producer had some responsility too.
3. The golden globes: that was angelina, brad did his thing, she wans’t in the mood, her mother was dying. How is brad’s fault that she wasn’t feeling like talking ?
4. The AMH incident: It was not paramount choice to do the contract, it was angelina, her manager and her lawyer. I don’t believe she didn’t know. But now it really bite her on ass big time, not because of the contract (hollywood does it all the time) it was the “reporters without borders” event thing that made all the press go against her. How is that brad’s fault?

And none of your named incidents are directly Angelina’s fault, either, yet you say “she gets into trouble all by herself”. Angie didn’t choke anybody, didn’t call anybody a “bloody Indian”, she wasn’t rude to Peecrust, AND she was gracious and attentive to everyone at AMH Premiere.

Look, I am not one of the posters who is mad at Brad for not coming to her rescue (if you’ll see my above post I agreed he shouldn’t), but you are blaming Angie for things she didn’t control, either.

They have alot of people that work for both of them and neither of them can control everything that is written or perceived about them. I think they have both handled little snafu’s such as these beautifully and the best they could. Each incident only pulls them together stronger and closer. I don’t think you can “blame” either of them.
