Brad & Maddox: No Special Treatment From Mars
Brad Pitt and 5-year-old son Maddox apparently walked into sci-fi-themed eatery Mars 2112 like regulars and waited in line like the rest of the patrons.
Papa Pitt patiently waited in line for the spaceship ride for Maddox. Admission price? $2!
In a couple years from now, Brad will have to start making reservations.
“Table for 16, please!”

Lylian - I actually wonder if the lawyer authorized the contract without actually reading what his assistant had typed up. Believe me, things have to be pretty bad for a lawyer to eat crow like that, and even he seemed to be surprised at some of the wording in his own contract. Oftentimes lawyers sign off on things without reading them all the way through, only to fall victim to an inexperienced, well meaning assistant.
While there is a trend towards ‘plain English’ in legal documents these days, even I found some of the wording to be odd, in all truthfulness. The lawyer really blew it.
I wonder if someone in Brad’s camp leaned on the lawyer without either of them knowing… not that we’ll probably ever know!
Not to harp on this subject but some facts need to be stated again. Friedman is a known Aniston and Huvane supporter. He predicted that Aniston career would take off after the movie, The Breakup and Jolie would nosedive. Now that Angelina is being praised by the critcs for her role in “A Mighty Heart”, he is trying to derail that, no pun intended. He has an agenda. It is not about freedom of speech but rather trying to stop Jolie from winning another Oscar because afterall this was poor Jen’s last chance. Don’t believe the hype and the smear tactics. Angelina Jolie is not worried about an Oscar and Friedman does not have the clout to stop her from winning one. The merits of her work in this movie speaks for itself.

The lawyer has apologized. Everyone has moved on. Let us not go into too much discussion about this guy. Let’s focus on watching Brad and Angie’s movies.

I comepletely agree with you. Even if she had agreed of doing it I wouldn’t find anything wrong with it. As you said the journalists have to learn to do their actual job for once. And if the only way to do their job right is to sighing contracts then so be it.
They acted like Angie was always putting restrictons in her interviews and she never revealed anything. But in fact she is one of the most forthcoming direct and HONEST actresses. She has the right to talk and not talk to whoever she wants and whenever she wants about her personals.She has every right to have privacy.
But it wasn’t even in her knowledge. So case closed!

IMO, apologies weren’t necessary, at least, not from the Jolie camp. The argument was supposedly about freedom of speech; but based on the AP interview and Friedman’s fixation, it’s about the freedom to waste time and opportunity focusing on the wrong things.
I like the trivial/personal aspects of the J-P’s life; it’s the main reason why I post here. But when I watch their interviews or read articles about them, I don’t throw a hissy fit when they deviate from the domestic/ romantic stuff.
The people who do, ie, the people who complain that Angelina doesn’t talk about Shiloh enough; Brad doesn’t talk about Angelina in great detail, etc. are the ones with the problem. And quite frankly, Peecrust, Friedman, Ted C., Perez, etc. fall into that category. And we have all witnessed their hissy fits when they didn’t get what they thought they were entitled to.

I am watching NBC evening news right now and they are talking about the family of Amy Biehl (sp?), the girl who was killed by the 4 black South Africans. They are saying that the family forgave them and gave them jobs in the charitable organization they founded after her death. All the 4 men are doing good. They said this is a glowing example of the power of forgiveness. This is also in the spirit of the AMH movie, that AJ keeps talking about, but some “movie critics” keep trying to ignore.

Ms. Annabelle - it’s a tough call isn’t it? I hate seeing all the papz too but then, well, here we are enjoying the product of their work :-) As long as they are respectful and keep their distance I won’t feel too guilty. From the account of the Splash guy on the bike, Angie thinks they have been respectful and decent, so I was relieved to hear that at least.
OTHER REPORTERS ARE ANGRY WITH ROGER FRIEDMAN BECAUSE THEY CAN’T UNDERSTAND WHY HE WOULD WANT TO ASK PERSONAL QUESTIONS ON A DAY THEY WERE WATCHING A MOVIE ABOUT DANNY.MOST OF THEM THINK ANGELINA WAS RIGHT TO WANT THE FOCUS ON THE MOVIE NOT HER.THAT IS WHY ROGER IS TRYING TO CARE FOR THE MOVIE,HE KNOW OTHER JOURNALIST ARE NOT HAPPY WITH HIM.ONE REPORTER SAID IT WAS ABOUT DANNY AND THAT THE MOVIE WAS REALLY GOOD BUT SAD.THEY ARE SAYING BRAD AND ANGELINA WERE REALLY NICE AND VERY OPEN.I am to tired to post the links,its after three in the UK but if you go around the net you will find them.The truth will come outPEACE

Still this topic eh? Go see Ocean’s 13 and go see A Mighty Heart next week not only for Angelina’s performance but for the entire story and an insight as to what is a story that is still current. Make up your own mind. Nobody goes to see movies based on reviews anymore. You go to see your favorite star, director and with an interest in the subject matter.
As we continue to see, Brad & Angelina are really loved by their fans for numerous reasons. In the end it’s all about the fans.
Leo DiCaprio and Djimon Hounsou got over their recent press debacle and so has Angelina. Nobody I know cares about the negativity because the underlying scent of desparate jealousy is blatanly apparant. Even after Angelina has given interviews the tabs and the bashing blogs will continue to create and twist things. As we see with the above picture, life goes on.
We all want the best for Brad & Angelina and their family. That’s all the public cares about.

Geez, that has soooooo got to suck to have idiots chasing and photographing your every move. How can Brad stand it? I would be shouting obscenities left and right and those fools.
