Jake Gyllenhaal: Sleeveless in the City
Fitness buff Jake Gyllenhaal carries a bottle of smartwater (Jennifer Aniston is currently the spokesperson) home, returning from a workout at the gym on Saturday in New York City.
Later in the evening, Jake and a female friend, along with his mom Naomi and her friend, dined out at hip Indian restaurant Bombay Talkie in the Chelsea neighborhood.

LMAO at Fug Face vs. What, you guys crack me up. Actually i think he’s at least 6′0, i mean Heath Ledger is 6′2 and he seems two inches shorter tops. I haven’t seen him in RL but he seems pretty tall.

I think he looks shorter than he is because his head is so enormous. You see someone from a distance and you assume they have a normal sized head and use this to judge their size overall, but in Jake’s case this would leave the impression that he must have a tiny little body. :’P
He’s actually built like a tall person except for that, with long arms and legs. He slouches terribly, he’d probably gain an inch if he would stand up reasonably straight!

I think he has a lollypop in his mouth. Something to suck on. His height is probably closer to 5′11″ than 6′. And why, Olivia, would you expect him to respond to you? As far as he is concerned, you are n-o-t-h-i-n-g, possibly an annoyance at best. As for no personality, what is striking about him in TV interviews is that he DOES seem to have more genuine personality and sense of humor than 99% of movie stars. He radiates “nice-guyness”. Unlike many movie stars he seems to have had a mainly normal upbringing, in a relatively rich family, and probably has fewer psychological problems than most. Still he must crave attention or he wouldn’t be in acting.
Are his eyes really blue? He wears contact lenses, I have heard, and those can be colored. Some photos I have seen make his eyes look kinda greyish at best.
Yes Hal, Jake’s eyes are blue, not colored contacts. His parents and his sister all have blue eyes, so does he. Blue eyes always change a bit of shading depending on what the person is wearing. So yes his eyes can look grey-ish or green-ish but check out any picture where he wears a blue shirt and his eyes glow. They are one of his best features.
