Considering the fact that Southwest Family Fellowship is the only church that Vida has regularly attended; the pastor, the people, the Christianity represented is unlike the rest of the country. It’s a stark divide between what most people think about Christians and the way members of our church choose to practice. Even for me, the change I saw was like night and day. I didn’t attend church in Springfield because it was ridiculous. It was a freak show. A parade of lights and intimidation tactics known as James River Assembly.

For Easter, Vida and I attended the 3,000+ member church.

Three jumbo-trons. Everyone raising their hands on cue, the choir swaying back and forth in the pastel, seemingly more contemporary shirts. Despite its attempts to be less traditional, it was the same message with a new face. It was the same preaching with new clothes. The offering is still taken up at the best possible time at which to garner the most money. They still did human videos (I know, I couldn’t believe it either). The preaching team all talked the exact same way, with the same stupid smiles and same body language. It was like none of them had their own personality, but one comprised of personal lessons by Joel Osteen.

And then came the best part.

I had forgotten that James River did this sort of thing. But from the moment it started, I began to sink inside my chair. A video testimony by a couple that went to church there. They talked about their alcohol addiction, and I couldn’t believe that I hadn’t noticed this before, but James River had them re-enact their own crap. For example, when the couple were drunk and fighting, between cuts back and forth to each of them talking about what happened, there was re-enactment shots of the very same couple acting out their trials and tribulations. What? Are you kidding me? When I say that I went out and looked to the stars in the sky, praying for God to save me, you want to film me walking out to my balcony and doing just that? Are you insane?

And then came the alter call. Enter pastor #3. I couldn’t believe the cameras were so good, because I could actually see the spit flying from his mouth from my balcony chair. Pacing back and forth like some mad chicken, I had forgotten all the yelling and the Bible thumping and threats of hellfire. He raised his Bible and told the crowd that the Bible was a historically factual document. Ok, I don’t have a problem with that, but looking at my wife, you could tell she had a very differing opinion. But that wasn’t what scared her. What scared her was how everything was carried out. It was exactly like all the horror stories she had heard.

It was a set up! It was a set up! Why do you think you had to wait overnight for a statement? If that was not the case, People would have posted the picture with the statement not long after everyone else-Jill Ikanishan from Celeb Babylon used to work for Min and Baker at US Weekly-She and Kitson owner ows celeb babylon and sunset photos-her connections are tight! Min hates her and had FBI to do investigation that she was hacking their computers when she left, but Min knew everyone had access to US Weekly’s email (even celebs) anyway since MIN hates Jill, guess who hates Min? Yep superagent HUVANE-So who do you think Huvane would call to scoop everyone else-Not people, Not USWEEKLY, Not Star (jill used to work for them). . .Do your research ppl! Now here this-Dougs statement was pur fluff-everyone is pissed to high heaven-they couldn’t say anything else because it would make beloved mom look bad-They don’t want her looking like a set up sucker or an oversympathizing fool-Just sit back and Watch-It won’t be long-Brad does not like having anyone in his family used-the fath lady is clearing her throat-get your popcorn kiddies!!!! Also WHY do you think Perez was one of the first to post the pics and why do you think he has a guest spot on the VIEW??? It ain’t what it seems-

You know, I actually believe this because the Jill/Minn situation is true. That’s why US can’t post pics from Kitson’s anymore in it’s magazine. And why was it only CB had the photo’s?

Springfield is a Christian mecca. Home to the Assemblies of God denomination, you will find a church on almost every corner, and the streets virtually empty of vehicles on Sundays. Most of the population attends church and the fundamentalist voice of the Christian faith reigns supreme here. Open-mindedness is viewed as deceptions of the devil or the inherently evil word of the fundamentalist faith, “compromise.” Churches seem to have a universal pattern of living and deviations from popular opinion is considered damning. Notice I said “popular opinion” and not “biblically-based.” Many views advocated there are not biblically-based. God is incorporated and the alter call numbers are the quarterly reports. I fled that town to move to Austin two years ago, and it was the best decision I ever made. But let’s review what I mean by “God inc.” and why I think it’s dangerous.

How could you all disrespect all the people involved? None of you now any of them. How dare some of you slander Jane Pitt then Doug Pitt? They can do whatver they want. They are grown people. Angelina is a sweetheart and everyone who has worked with her has nice things to say about her. It’s the gossips who don’t have an inside connection to her that have a problem with her. they want to know what other’s don’t, not what she tells everyone.

What I want to know is where do people get the notion that Angelina owes people something? If you read some of the snark like the NY Post, it reads bitter. Why? Yeah there was a misunderstanding with the who Fox debacle but that’s way over. Even if Fox and the NY post are both run by Rupert Murdoch. is the pupose of the negative commentary by those not in the know make them feel smug? and so what? You feel smug…It doesn’t change the reality of Brad & Angelina being a regular couple with children and professional obligations. Just about everyone can relate to that. so all this ish is just distraction.

LMAO at US Weekly & other tabs being mad for not getting invited to the AMH premiere. What do these publications think they are? The Economist? Foreign Affairs Magazine? LOL!!!!How dare they even want to be at such an even as the AMH premiere. They are ridiculous. Those tabs better know their place: to talk about baking recipes, weight loss, where to purchase the latest overpriced bs fashions, covering the openings of the latest liquor company, creating soap opera story lines, etc….

Angie will always be apart of the Brad Pitt extended family because she gave birth to Shiloh.

That means Jane Pitt will always have to maintain a good relationship with Angie.

Angie is a intelligent, beautiful inside, glamorous outside, and strong-minded woman, that’s what attracted Brad to her in the first place. It seems to me they’re in love with each other and their children.

In some ways Jane Pitt has a resemblance to Angie. Jane is intelligent, strong-minded and to Brad his mother is very beautiful inside and outside.
Like some people would say you end up find the partner who has the qualities similiar to your parents.

Brad is very happy with his four children, as the pictures in this thread shows he’s taking on the responsiblity of taking Paz and Zahara to daycare/pre-school. What man in his right mind would throw away happiness?

I’m sure Angie doesn’t really care if Jane does visit Jennifer.
Whatever the visit between Jane and Jennifer is private and really none of our business.
I wish people would let them live their lives without all the negative comments.

Jennifer is a friend of Brad the same way GP and J Lewis are a friend of his. Rarely speaks or sees them but will be polite when meeting them. Remember at the GG Brad introduce Courtney and David to Angelina as friends of his.
