They obviously prefer to spend time living their lives, not answering all the ridiculous lies. As for his family, they can say whatever they want about whomever. Damn the collective memory of some!!! Doug has already spoke TWO times in People mag saying that they love and support Angie and they don’t have any problem with her.The first time he gave a whole interview about it. He also said that what the Tabs are writting about a rift between them is complete bullsh*ts. But I guess some of you want to forget about it huh??It’s not the first time he is saying that they are civil with Aniston and I believe that both Angie and Brad are civil with her too. I mean that they do not hate her. At the end of the day she will lose from her actions not them. They will gain even more. But that does not mean that they are pals.

Brad is back in Prague with his woman and he takes care of his kids. And those who where hoping for something else to happend just take it and move on already!!

While I agree with you that they don’t have to and shouldn’t have to answer to ever stupid lie that the stupid tabloids put out and that they’re more mature about those things than most of us that love and support them are, you can’t honestly think that Doug Pitt utters one word to the press without Brad’s express approval or that of his reps. Please. He asks Brad’s explicit permission about what to comment on and when to comment and whom to issue the comment to.

Oh so folks is going to turn on Brad now and his family? This is rich. Just rich. The man is right now (as evidenced by the photos that started this thread in the first place) in Prague with his kids and with Angelina.
The posts condemning Brad and his family for not defending Angelina have nothing to do with your concern for Angie, but more to do with your own insecurities about Brad and Angelina’s relationship. You’re scared that because the whole triangle situation won’t go away (which by the way you’re helping to sustain as well as the tabs) that somehow this equates to Brad and Jen actually getting back together. I can just tell from your posts. It reeks of insecurity and its pathetic and sad. I don’t mean to call names, but I’m sorry that’s just what it is. Brad loves Angie and he loves his kids. I’m sure his mother, brother, and sister do too. They don’t need to defend Angelina and something tells me she wouldn’t want them to anyway. Defending her means she did something wrong. You don’t need defence if there is no offense. Right?

Journalism has become a very deadly profession in recent years. According to the Committee to Protect Journalists, in the last five years 247 journalists have lost their lives on the job. One of those killed was Daniel Pearl, the South Asia Bureau Chief for The Wall Street Journal. The story of his kidnapping and murder is told in the new film, A Mighty Heart, opening nationwide this Friday. The film focuses on Mariane Pearl, Danny’s wife and fellow journalist, and the exhaustive search to bring Danny back alive.

At first, I was nervous about if, and how, Angelina Jolie could pull off playing Mariane — her first starring role since “Brangelina” became the celebrity world’s focus. But I have to give her credit because she really pulls it off. Her Mariane is determined, brave and dignified in crisis. She helps steer the search using her journalistic skills and keeps everyone on track and focused while six months pregnant with their son, Adam, whom Danny never met.

The film brings us back to the early days of the Iraq conflict where the attention was on the terrorists rather than the current focus on the failed U.S. war effort. It is smartly directed by Michael Winterbottom who has effectively handled war correspondents before in Welcome to Sarajevo, and the Iraq war in the recent documentary, The Road to Guantanamo. Winterbottom’s gift as a filmmaker is making the film feel at times like a documentary, and at other times an edge of your seats thriller.

Summer is not usually the time for realistic, hard-hitting dramas but Paramount Vantage is smart to counter-program with a bona fide movie star like Angelina Jolie. If she can’t get butts in the seats for a good movie like this, I’m afraid no one can.

I think Jen’s fans should worry about where Jen’s mother is instead of worrying about the Pitts. Angelina said she’s not bothered with tabloids beacuse her relationship with Brad is solid.

135 African Girl - I’m not disputing that Brad and Angie are happy, nor am I wishing for or even in the slighest way WANTING a play by play of their day. My comments have absolutely nothing to do with that.

It has to do with why Brad and his family felt the need to comment on this story about his mother visiting his ex wife when they rarely, if ever, feel the need to comment on or clarify or defend Angie against the crap that is thrown her way weekly, if not daily by the tabs.

I realize they don’t read, nor do they care about the tabloids for the most part, but again, they can’t possibly think those comments will do anything but fuel the tabloid spin of the “triangle,” spawn a new round of “Brad still loves Jennifer and wants her back” stories, and I’m sure that they, as I and many other people do, wish that all those stories and spin would just go away.
