School’s Out for the Jolie-Pitts!
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie bring big brother Maddox, 5, to pick up Pax, 3, and Zahara, 2, from school at the American Embassy compound on a very wet Thursday afternoon in Prague, Czech Republic.
School might be out for Pax and Zee, one of them made a green graduation cap!
Maddox looks like he got a hair-cut… and he’s getting so big!

1. She wants to leave Brad because she is really in love with her frist husband.
2. She is a heroin addict.

Casting one of the world’s most glamorous women in a film about a ruthless execution seems like a dubious decision. Yet Angelina Jolie pulls it off in “A Mighty Heart,” Michael Winterbottom’s powerful recounting of the kidnapping and murder of Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl in 2002 by Islamic extremists in Pakistan.
The documentary-like movie is based on a book by Pearl’s wife, Mariane, a fellow journalist who was having dinner with friends in Karachi when her Jewish husband disappeared while heading for an interview with a local sheik. The story is told from her point of view, with her husband (played by “Capote” screenwriter Dan Futterman) seen mostly in flashbacks.
The Pearl case was a complicated one involving U.S. and Pakistani authorities, his Wall Street Journal colleagues and the murky world of terrorism. “A Mighty Heart” streamlines the story, focusing primarily on the couple’s personal and professional bond and the futile attempts to find Pearl before he was beheaded by his captors in a gruesome video they posted on the Web for all the world to see.
Jolie, sporting frizzy hair and a hybrid accent that reflects Mariane’s French-Dutch-Cuban heritage, gives a beautifully understated performance. Though Mariane was pregnant at the time, Jolie doesn’t overdo the suffering-wife angle. Only once does she really let her emotions go: After hearing that her husband is dead, she closets herself in a bathroom, kneels on the floor and unleashes a primal wail that will break your heart.

Angelina Jolie: Refusing To Turn A Blind Eye
NEW YORK, NY (June 21, 2007) — Angelina Jolie talked about her continued efforts as a humanitarian and activist, and discovering her first adopted child, in a candid interview with Anderson Cooper on CNN last night.
Jolie’s dedication to humanitarian efforts has been staggering. She has campaigned for relief in the troubled regions of Cambodia, Darfur, Sri Lanka and many others; personally visiting the poverty-stricken locales and refugee camps. It was in Cambodia that she discovered a toddler, Maddox, who would become her first adopted child.
“I fell in love with the people of Cambodia,” she told Cooper, “and I was sitting with a little kid playing blocks and feeling like my son was somewhere there. And he was.” Along with Maddox, Jolie has adopted two other children — Zahara from Ethiopia, and Pax from Vietnam — with her partner, Brad Pitt. They also have one biological child, Shiloh, between them.
Angelina’s journey to becoming a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) was sparked by the horrible conditions she witnessed while filming “Tomb Raider” in Cambodia. In 2001, she contacted the UNHCR and went on her first field visit, an 18-day mission to Sierra Leone and Tanzania. She was shocked by what she witnessed.
As she recounted the experience to Cooper, she said she felt it was her responsibility to educate, “and never again be confronted with a situation like that and think, ‘my God, how did I not know this was happening?’”
Jolie spoke to Cooper about the horrors and poverty facing the world’s refugees, whom she described as “some of the smartest, most resilient people in the world.”
She said that she was worried about the “millions of vulnerable people that have no access to a decent quality of life, who are going to be brought into terrorist groups because that’s their only option.”
When Cooper asked if the seeing the displaced families in the refugee camps inspired her to adopt, Jolie replied, “It might be part of the reason my kids are from some of those countries, and were on their own. . . I feel very close to children or people around the world … and when I met my kids, they were, to me, extraordinary — and felt just like family. And that’s how I feel about the world and other people’s kids.”
And while Angelina doesn’t specifically claim to be a better mother, or woman, or partner because of her humanitarian work (”I’m not a ‘wife,’” she reminded Cooper), she said she has been affected by her experiences in a broader way:
“It’s just made me a better person. Since starting this work, [there's] never been one morning where I’ve woken up and wished for more in my life . . . I’m so fortunate . . . I remember all the people I’ve met that have been through 100 times more pain than I will ever know in my life.”
With four children to raise already, could Angelina and Brad possibly want to adopt more? “We fluctuate between like seven and twelve,” she mused.
“We’re always thinking about [adopting others],” she said. “We’re just making sure that everybody has enough time…it can take a full day making sure everybody has special attention.”
With a big family and two hugely successful careers between Angelina and Brad, it all comes down to teamwork.
“I only work sporadically now,” she explained, “and when I do [work], Brad’s a great Dad, so we take turns as parents.”
Jolie can be seen this weekend in “A Mighty Heart,” which features her critically acclaimed portrayal of Mariane Pearl, the widow of slain Wall Street Journalist Daniel Pearl, who was kidnapped and murdered in Pakistan in 2002.

Angelina Jolie Reveals Her Future Family Plans
NEW YORK, NY (June 15, 2007) — With Angelina Jolie, you never know exactly where in the world she’s going to turn up or what she’s going to say when she gets there. Last night, the actress made an appearance in New York and the topic of conversation was family.
“I’m great,” she told host Jon Stewart at the “Daily Show.” “I’ve got a big, crazy, happy family and I’m used to chaos and I’m very lucky.”
Stewart asked her how many children she hoped to have.
“It fluctuates between 7 and 13 and 14,” she said.
Stewart noted he had just two children and that was already “kicking his ass.” He told Angelina he admired her wish for a larger family.
“Four’s kind of kicking our ass, but we kind of fell like ‘Damn it! We’re up for the challenge,” she said.
A few channels away, Larry King took a more direct approach.
“Would you adopt again,” the veteran CNN host asked.
“Yeah,” Jolie replied. “Not tomorrow.”
“How about a natural birth again?”
“Yeah, I’d consider it,” she said. “Absolutely.”
Access Hollywood can confirm Angelina is not pregnant, but in an effort to protect the privacy of Angelina and Brad, Jolie’s reps asked some press, (not Access) at the New York “A Mighty Heart” premiere to sign an agreement not to ask personal questions.
“I don’t think I would consider it blocking freedom of press to say, ‘I don’t want to say whether or not I’m pregnant right now,’” Jolie told King.
She also told the CNN host that a relationship is not about having fun together it’s about the desire to create the same thing in life and in family.
“We talk about it often at home – how we’re gonna raise our children . . . We don’t want them to be spoiled and we don’t want them to be attached to things, and we don’t want them to, or take fame seriously, or anything like that, we want them to be good people, like all parents.”
And the Jolie-Pitts seem to have found a grounded place in an ungrounded existence.
“When one of us is working the other is with the kids, when we shot ‘A Mighty Heart,’ he was figuring out fun things in India to do with the children,” Angelina said.
In Angelina related news, Bochic who designed the jewelry Angelina wore to the Golden Globes earlier this year, are auctioning off the gems with proceeds supporting World Refugee Day.

What does it matter in the greater scheme of things what an obscure gossipist wrote in a second or third or fourth tier newspaper? Anyone can make up anything said to be provided to them by some unnamed source. It does not even merit repeating. It is worthless and of no value.
Love these pics of the family. Maddox is growing up so fast, it seems like he didn’t grow for years and now look at those long legs on him. He is dressed in the same colors as his mom and dad. LOL.
Watched the video and it is quite appearant that Pax already knows very well who his dad is. Pax heard that thunder, immediately turned to Brad and raised his arms to be picked up by Daddy because Daddy would keep his safe. And Brad immediately bent down and picked him up.
Angelina has that umbrella shelterng her family. She is certainly an earth mother.
This is a happy thriving family, and nothing can change that. The famly interactions, not any unnamed source, are proof of that fact.

Angelina Jolie Rocks $26 Outfit At NY ‘Heart’ Premiere
NEW YORK, NY (June 13, 2007) – Angelina Jolie rocked the shabby chic look at the New York premiere of “A Mighty Heart” on Wednesday night.
Did she show up wearing St. John, the label she’s the contracted face of?
Nope!
Angie tells Access that the silk velvet dress she was sporting was from the vintage store Wasteland on Melrose Avenue in LA.
The outfit’s total cost?
$26!
Ms. Jolie was wearing Christian Louboutin shoes with crystal heels.
Jolie also tells Access that she and Brad support each other on the road, and that’s what makes their relationship work.
All four of their children are currently in NYC, along with Brad’s mom & sister, and Angelina’s brother.

One thought I’d like to add, thanks:
Yes, Angie is looking very thin. No spinning, its the truth. If you’re particularly sensitive, you wonder how she’s staying physically strong for all that’s on her plate…and then 2 things hit me! BOINK!
1.) she’s filming a movie—maybe there’s a character arc that calls for her to be noticeably thinner. Revealing it in the press would sabotage the effect. Sound plausible?
(sigh) I hope and wish.
2.)THE SWEETIE IS STRESSED TO THE MAX–what with AMH largely riding on her as lead actress. The reviews are sensational but will the public come to watch?
Do people really care about Danny Pearl’s tragic death and how Mariane Pearl
turned that tragedy into a pivotal moment for choosing the higher ground as a political and spiritual statement?
Maybe they care but do they want to pay to see a heartfelt reinactment of it?
Sure its a smaller budget project but it is the labor of love, yet another ‘baby’ between Brad and Ange.
Its his company, his project,– before they were one—-she does not want to blow this for him because of the baggage she brings (the shadow of the past).
The pressure she must be harboring (meaning; parenting 4 little kids! whew!
Combine that with showing up the world of naysayers that her dream, her vision/their dream/their vision is viable and good.
That they can raise these kids in a global playground and raise them well.
A beacon of light to inspire others.
And yeah, having their projects be successful matters. Because when you are not successful, no matter how pretty you are–its t*ts up, eventually. Need I quote examples?
If this movie makes no money, they can survive just fine. BUT–if it is successful:
Angie will be vindicated. Its a fact.
*she will be proud that she did Mariane (and Danny and Daniel proud.
*it’ll give Plan b more clout to fund other projects and Brad does not deal in drivel.
*it’ll make Brad proud that he committed to ‘his girlfriend’ in the part with all the backlash that would ensue.
*it would keep the haters at bay for another day’s battle……………(they’ll nitpick and find something else to diminish them but it’ll soooooo not matter
All this on the slim shoulders of this young woman.
I have a sure feeling that when this project comes and goes (and hopefully goes very well), sweet Angelina will fret a whole lot less.

I hope that you are not a parent for you certainly are not a good person. To broadcast as a definite truth something so negative and so total defamation of someone’s character without any foundation or proof whatsoever, printed by a has been gossipist who makes up lies and cra* on a regular basis in a desperate attempt to keep his job defines what you clearly are-a lying bitc*/bastar*.
