Young kids don’t lie. Just look at Madd, Pax, Z, and Shi and you can see that B&A are good parents, therefore good people. No matter what people like Ted C or the “insiders” on Page Six say. Oh, btw, didn’t that same “insider” say that they broke up after A Mighty Heart premiere, and that Angie left for Prague all alone? It must be Brad’s double that we see there in the video. Agreed. My guess is Ted C. is probably going to be released from employ in the not too distant future, and the only way he can be assured of another job, is to, get people talking about HIS column, what else?

Well, who’s the biggest star in the universe, that people (namely evil & catty hateful c*nts) are always eager and willing to believe the worst about - because her passion, committment and goodness makes them feel inadequate about their own lives??

Sure, Ted will probably come out in a few days, and say it’s not AJ - but in the meantime, this will float all over the net, make it into the rags (it’s the end of the week, they’ll have plenty of time), and hopefully get people talking.

Gossips learn from the pros (pros being the publicists, like Huvane) - Ted sees what a mere VISIT from Mama Pitt did for Maniston. There were three times as many photogs at her dumb book party, than there were at the GLAAD function. It’s all because of Brad and Angelina and the re-emergence of the triangle, and reattachment to the coattails by way of Jane Pitt.

So what better way to get some of that action when you know you’re going to need a gig soon? Or perhaps it’s about Ted keeping hisgig, as you know Ryan Peecrust would love it if Ted starts hitting Angelina hard, jealous little b*tch that he is.

But the blind item, even if Ted ultimately negates it being AJ, is designed for the salivating hater masses to think it is her, or even if they do have brains, and they know Ted C is lying — they don’t care that she’s being slandered falsely, they just want her smeared period. “withering figure?” “charitable causes?” “hand in everything?” “concerned hunky man?” “honest open and accessible?” “worried movers and shakers?”

Since when do “movers and shakers” worry about Pam Anderson?

It’s an Angelina slam - and probably the worst thing I’ve read yet. It will be all over radio, TV and in the rags most likely.

I wonder if Ted C ever worries about Karma in the form of a semi losing control and and reducing him to a stain all over the highway?? he should. It’s the worst thing I’ve seen done to Angelina in a while.

By the way - I’m not familiar with heroin - but if this slander were true, and ‘heroin’ turned people into superheroes like ‘Angelina Jolie’ I think we all would need to start doing smack. It would be required for everyone, much like f**king vaccinations.

Ted doesn’t know it, but his career is over. The people he thinks might be happy with something like this? As soon as the going gets tough, will sell his aSS out so fast from underneath him, his head will be spinning. Isaiah Washington will be getting work before Ted. George Washington will be getting work before Ted.

We should have a countdown on how quickly he retracts and clarifies. It better be mighty damn quick.

Angelina Jolie gives Oscar-caliber performance in ‘A Mighty Heart’

With all the tabloid headlines, her international baby-adopting jaunts and some awful films, Angelina Jolie’s acting skills have been overshadowed.

In the powerful based-on-true events “A Mighty Heart,” the Oscar-winning actress proves that — at least when she’s giving the right material — she’s a remarkable talent.

How good is Jolie in “A Mighty Heart”? A few minutes into the film, you get sucked into the story and forget you’re watching the star, not an easy accomplishment with all the baggage Jolie brings to the screen.

She plays French journalist Mariane Pearl, who, along with her Wall Street Journal reporter husband Daniel (Dan Futterman), travels to Pakistan in early 2002 — despite the fact she’s six months pregnant — to cover the aftermath of the United States’ invasion of Afghanistan after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

As the movie opens, Daniel has set up a delicate interview with a radical cleric with anti-American ties. He doesn’t return from the interview and is soon feared kidnapped.

Because the film is based on such well-known events — the Pearl kidnapping was covered extensively by all the major networks and newspapers — watching the events unfold is almost frustrating. We know what will happen and feel helpless in the face of the coming tragedy.

Director Michael Winterbottom (”The Road to Guantanamo” and “24 Hour Party People”) downplays the more emotional aspects of the story, though, for a more documentary-like approach. He takes us inside the Pakistani-led investigation, surprising us with both the humanity of the detectives and their brutal tactics.

One character, identified only as the Captain (a wonderful Irrfan Khan, who was also superb as the patriarch in “The Namesake” earlier this year), is so sympathetic and caring to Mariane that when he supervises the torture of a suspected kidnapper it’s even more startling.

Besides Khan’s superb supporting work, Will Patton is memorable as a U.S. embassy security agent who has an almost scary admiration of the blunt Pakistani security investigation techniques.

Good, too, is Denis O’Hare as one of Daniel’s editor who comes to Pakistan to help Mariane. He spends a lot of time reading baby books and worrying that the pregnant Mariane isn’t getting enough to eat. Every journalist should have such a sweet editor.

Winterbottom also effectively uses location shooting — much of the film was shot in Pakistan — to tell his story. The shots of traffic-jammed streets and poverty-stricken slums add to the movie’s power.

But in the end, the movie belongs to Jolie. Her fierce, simple performance is worthy of Oscar consideration. Her performance here is clearly the best of her career. There’s none of her usual on-screen vamping or self-aware performance that has made so many of her recent movies so bad. (Anyone remember her accent in “Alexander”? Shudder.)

Let’s hope that “A Mighty Heart” — it’s certainly not the typical summer release and might be a tough sell for summer moviegoers — finds an audience in the sea of bloated comic-book movies and waterlogged pirate flicks.

Doesn’t Pam Anderson have a BF? I thought she did. I’ve re-thoughtit - it’s not Pam, she used to be an H addict, so he shoulv’e said “re-lapse”. Besides…Page Six reported months ago that she was using again. Even Ted ought to know that by now.

If I think about a woman that people love to hate, is into fashion, has gotten seriously skinny, is into charity and has had good press in recent times…I’m drawing a blank. There’s a few names that fit parts of the scenario - Tyra Banks, Madge, Kate Moss - but I can’t come up with anyone who fits the entire description.

True-life tragedy beats strongly in upsetting drama

Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl (Dan Futterman) is kidnapped while on assignment in Pakistan, and his wife Mariane (Angelina Jolie) leads the search to find him. Based on the real events from 2002, “A Mighty Heart” draws largely from Mariane Pearl’s book “A Mighty Heart: The Brave Life and Death of My Husband Danny Pearl.”

Big question: Do we want to see a dramatization of this story? Can it help us grieve while processing what it all means?

Catch it: “A Mighty Heart” thrusts us into this world without sugarcoating or fabricating reality, though it deprives us of Daniel’s post-kidnapping experiences and struggles to end with anything deeper about the situation than what is by now common knowledge. We do, however, see investigators’ struggle to squeeze any useful information from the kidnappers’ network whose efficiency practically guarantees trouble for a reporter values a story over his safety.

Skip it: If you’re selfish about your phone usage, as officials cut off neighbors’ lines to allow more calls to Mariane’s home in Pakistan. In that case, you wouldn’t last a day on “The Real World.”

Bottom line: “A Mighty Heart” both benefits and suffers from Jolie, who delivers a quality performance while her mega-star wattage shifts the focus from the front page to the gossip page. But it’s a realistic and devastating document of journalistic values that embodies them also, seeking only to report what we know with a feel for those affected.

Bonus: For security reasons, the movie was shot in India, not Pakistan. If that doesn’t drive home the bravery of the Pearls, what does?
