MTV: What are your priorities now in terms of your film work, in terms of the body of work you want to leave behind?

Jolie: I feel very proud of a film like this. And I feel very fortunate that I’ve had a chance to work on great projects. I’m looking forward to a film I get to do with Clint Eastwood [”The Changeling”]. It’s so cool, and it’s a great script. What an amazing chance to work with an amazing man, a hero of mine. I don’t have big dreams of how many more things I want to do. I want to spend a lot of time with my family. I want to travel. I’d like to be less in the public eye. [She laughs.] So we shall see.

MTV: Recently there was a lot of attention given to the agreement your representatives asked journalists to sign, asking that they refrain from personal questions. It seems like the majority of the press on this film has concerned that story.

Jolie: I think the majority of the stories have been about the film. And I think that certain news outlets have decided to try to make it about other things. I’m glad it was cleared up between me and my representation. I didn’t know [the agreement] was out there. It was excessive, and I’m glad it was corrected. But I know why they did it, and I appreciate what they were trying to protect. And that is it.

MTV: A request like that seems ironic since you more than anybody have been so open throughout your career.

Jolie: I feel like I’m a pretty candid person.

MTV: Do you ever just want to scream, “What more can I give you? For a decade I’ve been telling you what’s on my mind!”

Jolie: Let’s go have a cup of coffee! [She laughs.] I can cry on your shoulder. Yeah, I feel like I’ve had a very open relationship with the press. And I’ve only just asked, when I could, to try to protect my family and some privacy. But I’ve never blocked a journalist from a serious story, and I never would think to do that. That would be a horrible thing to do.

At the end of the day, what matters to them is their family, and their important causes around the world…

But of course, as fans, we say and do what we think is right, and hopefully we say it with good intentions (agree or disagree - we do have those rights of opinion) and hopefully, we can redirect those good intentions into good acts in our personal daily lives….

Well if you want to know how his family really feels - just ask Momma Pitt - better yet just watch. She has every right to still love Jen and its obvious she felt Jen got the shaft and still handled it like a lady. If she was so manipulative and whiny as you would have her and the world believe Jane wouldnt want to be around her. So now its crystal clear what really happened because any Mother would be more protective of their son IF he was in the right. Jane lives in the mid-west wher family values still mean something and respecting your relationship/marriage are a way of life. You’ll only see pics of Momma Pitt around his girlfriend/babymomma when his mother wants to see Shiloh. So when are you girls going to put a hit out on his mother??

What’s wrong with Angelina? Did she ran out of money with all her “donations” that she can’t afford to buy food? She looks sick, fragile, fugly. I love this family, they are so totally into each other, I wish them luck, happiness, health and long lasting love. As for the haters and naysayers, IMHO Brad P has always done whatever he felt was good for HIS life, and no amount of name calling or bashing HIS choice of partner or HIS children or secound guessing why he does this or why he does that will change him now. He seems to be smart, intelligent, honest and he obviously gives alot of thought to every desion he makes, all we have to do is re read his legitimate interviews to see and understand that. So I dont think he was stolen, I think he wanted to leave because he found someone who shared his views and made his life feel fullfilled. It may hurt but the haters but the fact of the matter is he is LIVING the LIFE he CHOSE and makeing a difference in the world, what is X doing? what are her fans doing? I have no judgement because I wasn’t there and I have no idea what went on in that marrige, but as a long time fan of BP I can say with all honesty I’ve never seen him as happy and fulfilled as he has been in the last 2 1/2 yrs.
And where I come from when u really care about someone u wish them well, pick yourself up and move on and hope that u find happiness right along with them. You don’t carry it to the public,manipulate the press, and throw pity parties (well maybe one) but then u grow and learn and move on, X can never have my respect sorry. I have an enormous amount of RESPECT for Angie because we are put on this earth to grow and learn from our mistakes and become better people, she has always been very honest with the public and she is an insperation to a alot of people because of it. Some of u may not agree but believe me when I tell you all your bashing and hate makes me love and admire this family even more, because it shows exactly how weak X and her fans are and how low her life is. OT, I just read Time mag this week. Morgan Freeman wrote an article about his life nowadays. Among the things he talked about, like playing golf, filming a movie in Prague, he said he just learnt to fly a jet plane 5 years ago. And he just turned 70 this month. Which means he got his pilot license at the tender age of 65. WOW.
