Katie Holmes: I’m Bringing Waistcoats Back
A solo Katie Holmes leaves Eden Roc Hotel on Thursday in Cap d’Antibes to catch a flight at France’s Nice airport. Mrs. Tom Cruise paired her simple white tee with white wide-legged pants. She finished off her look with a bright yellow handbag and off-white pumps.
But one of the hotter trends celebrities seem to have picked up on this season is the waistcoat. Katie wore a brown leather waistcoat with pockets to the airport while Britney Spears wore a pocketless pinstriped version last week.

I was wondering what a waistcoat is and it looks alot like a vest.That is what we called them in the 70’s.Maybe they are very similar.

She just can’t handle the high fashion. She can’t pull it off. Some people just have it and some don’t and she doesn’t have it. The hair cut gives her a mush face and does nothing for her but make her look old. I know Tom is about 17 years or more older than her so maybe she was tired of looking like his little sister. She used to be sorta pretty, but not anymore.
Katie has class and easily pulls off whatever she wears. She is a very beautiful girl and I enjoyed the Suri pictures a lot. I like this family. I kinda like her waste coat and her hair looks nice in these pics.
Love her shoes. Gal has an eye for shoes. She looks really nice lately, o.k usually but lately she looks very beautiful, may be I just was not paying attention before.
I think Katie is loosing herself trying so hard to look older because deep down inside she knows and she is coscious that people think Tom is too old for her, also this poor girl has no fashion sense, again she is trying so hard to be like Victoria Beckham….without understanding that her physique is not like Poshe’s, Katie is a tall woman with huge feet, big calves, thighs etc that is her body type and she can’t change that no matter how skinny she’ll become……wearing the crochet miniskirt w/ high heels at the beach the other day was horrendous, she is trying so hard she is just making mistake after mistake…..
Precious just like her daughter Suri. She’s good for Tom. Ive never seen Tom so happy and he looks so young for a man on his 40’s.Even better than other actors who are young but look like they’re in rehab.

Did someone say $1,500 for that vest? I realize money’s no object but does that thing really make her feel special? Maybe it doesn’t photograph well…Boy, she’s making Tom pay big time.

Hhhmmm, I liked the older ‘chick flick’ Katie Holmes but I guess being a mommy made her grow more mature. I also like her like this. The classy new Katie Holmes- Cruise (Haha!) I like everything she’s wearing EXCEPT from the waistcoat, it’s hard to pull those off. She should’ve taken away the waistcoat…and wore a nice jacket instead. Anyhow, she looks pretty nice and funky with those shades and new hair.
Btw, thats a Louis Vuitton bag, I saw it in an ad. another day. ;)
