River Deary: First Pictures of Keri Russell’s Son
Keri Russell smiles for photographers on Thursday afternoon, looking fit as ever less than two weeks after giving birth. That’s right, two!
The proud mommy carried newborn son River (okay, so you can only see his forehead) in a baby sling as she ran errands in Brooklyn. (Update: The sling Keri wore was the $325 PSling New York Avant Wave in blue.)
Keri, 31, managed to grab coffee and go to Whole Foods supermarket to pick up water and detergent. She even picked up the laundry in her grandma cart!
She should start sharing those post-pregnancy weight loss tips. They certainly have been working for her!

Oscar talk…I know, I KNOW! LOL!! Just pass this post if you don’t like…
Someone had mentioned some names for Best Actress nominationsbut I keep seeing this promo for a film called Evening and stars some top actresses but it comes across as a chick flick, Anyway the film stars Claire Danes Toni Collette Vanessa Redgrave, Natasha Richardson, Meryl Streep ,Mamie Gummer (Meryl’s daughter) and Glenn Close. That’s a lot of women but they all can’t be nominated Best Actress.
Also Nicole Kidman has a new film that’s getting a lot of Oscar Buzz as well as Charlize Theron.

I know Keri and she is extremely sweet and kind, that baby is very lucky!
Keri did not bring her newborn to a concert, she brought her to a small play where her friend Mare Winningham plays a folk singer, not a loud event or anything.
Sorry, I read about it wrong, it was a nightclub where Mare sang a few of her folk songs.

Wow.. congrates to her & hubby. 2 weeks and already she’s out & about carrying her baby. And to think in my culture we have to stay put at home and be pampered for 40 days!
She looked super cute during her pregnancy, and now she looks in good shape just after giving birth 2 weeks ago.
There is something disturbing about baby carriers that look like messenger bags. Isn’t Keri a little worried someone might snatch it mistaking it as a handbag?
