Fashion Faceoff: Thakoon Dress

Elisha Cuthbert kept it simple in Thakoon’s sandwashed silk orchid dress at Planet Hollywood for her handprint ceremony in NYC’s Times Square on Thursday. The Captivity star completed her look with a pair of simple black pumps.

America Ferrera wore the same Thakoon number at the “An Evening with Ugly Betty” event in North Hollywood in late April. The Ugly Betty star finished off her look with strappy Jimmy Choo shoes and jewelry from Martin Katz.

Who wore it best — ELISHA or AMERICA?

i think elisha looks better.. I think the style suits her shaper alot better.. I think the dress makes america look bigger than she actually she.

i dunno…this is a tough call. at first glance, i thought elisha looked better but now…im just not sure.

i think it looks equally as good on both of them. its a tie for me!

America looks better in this dress. Her curves fill the dress out. The dress looks too big on Elisha.

I don’t like the dress at all but it looks better on America. It seems to sit snugly around America’s breasts but on Elisha it looks like it doesn’t fit properly and the bodice part looks like it’s pulled down too far. It just looks like a bad fit.

Heh, I’m not fond of the dress on either one. They’re both pretty girls, but I love America. She’s smart, beautiful and inspirational. And she defies the ideal Hollywood look.

It looks great on America - it fits her better (looks a bit baggy on Elisha)
and the colour doens’t make het look pale. America has great skin, too.
