OlderSuri Says Buh-Bye to the South of France
Tom Cruise and 14-month old daughter Suri check out of the Eden Roc Hotel on Friday in Cap d’Antibes, France. Katie Holmes checked out a day earlier and caught a flight out of Nice airport.
What’s Tom up up to next? His next film project is called Valkryie, executive produced by Tom himself and directed by Bryan Singer (Superman Returns, X2). The character is plays is Col. Claus von Stauffenberg, a Nazi general under Hitler’s command who loses an eye and a couple of limbs. Hello, prosthetics! In real life, Stauffenberg was executed by the Nazis for attempting to kill Hitler with two suitcase bombs in 1944.
Here’s a bit from FOX News: “One reason Cruise may have agreed to do this project is because von Stauffenberg is considered by some Germans to be a folk hero. Cruise, however, is not. In Germany, he’s taken a lot of hits for his unwavering devotion to Scientology. Germans consider the group a cult and do not recognize it as a religion. Cruise would like to change that.”

On a different note — I’m just sad for the other two kids. They’re not in France w/ TomKat, and not in Australia w/ Nicole and Keith. I think they’re just in LA w/ their Scientology tutors or something.

Tom Cruise is getting a bad rap lately. It started with the Oprah thing. Really, was it that bad? I thought it was sort of sweet and sincere….a little dorky for a grown ass man, sure, but not offensive. Imagine if your man did that for you. Very sweet and their relationship was neg.
The Matt Lauer interview was offensive. Definitely. He talked down his nose to Matt.
But at the end of the day, is the guy really that bad? Poor Katie. She nails Tom Cruise and suddenly the world things he’s a dorky, A-hole, alien. And just a year before he was THE top celebrity.
This is Suri’s turn. Connor vacationed with Nicole and Hugh Jackman’s movie and Bella was on a cruise with Nic and Keith.
I sure hope we see the kids with their sports events again. I miss that.

But Lauer said the media made it over the top. After the interview both men apologize and were so professional about it. Lauer even respects Tom so much and thinks greatly of him as a dad and actor. Robin, Tom didn’t do anything wrong, he’s just a dorky, overly happy guy. That’s his problem, he’s way to nice.

that’s exactly right, everyone follows the “popular” opinion. I’m shocked that people have crucified Tom Cruise so much about this. Brad Pitt didn’t suffer this when he left his wife. Angelina Joile was an absolute flake a few years ago. Paris Hilton is being paid $1 million just to talk about her time in jail…and she’ll probably be on the view.

Look at some of the “stars” out there. Famous apparently for no good reason. Gwenneth Paltrow one of the most beautiful women on earth and is a famous movie star????? Do we all think she’s beautiful? Kate Moss top super model of the world? Seriously! Are they really pretty or are they popular….look at them..you do the math.
There is no finer example of this than Britney Spears being one of the riches human beings on earth because of her, get this, …..singing!!!! Her singing????!!!! Has anyone heard her sing?

Make fun of Tom all you want, but he is a hands on father to all his kids. Suri has odd features that make her very cute. I think its the shape of the eyes and nose that stand out to me.

You can tell he is on hands on father and it is not a PR stunt, if it was Suri would be thinking the “daddy what are you doing?” She seems like its normal and loves it. She is a soooo cute.
