Brad & Angie Jet Out of Prague

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have a good laugh with photographers before catching a flight (without their kids, it seems) aboard their private jet at Prague airport on Saturday in the Czech Republic.

The power couple are reportedly en route to the United States for another premiere of A Mighty Heart. Or maybe it’s mommy-daddy alone time now?

You can watch the video of Brad & Angie catching their flight out of Prague here.

All Our Best To Brad&Angelina. We Loved AMH.

These days, many families are formulated on the bond between people who did not start as blood relatives and who hail from different cultures. I see it all the time in my wedding ministry, when people marry, and blend in their kids, their relatives, and their extended family members.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie its very encouraging to see how they created their unique family. They have broken through many taboos, and have been an example of how love can transcend race, culture and religion.

They are also modeling love and family unity without marriage, and the ability to raise children in a loving environment without having to have a wedding. Even though I am all for marriage, for the right couples, I don’t think it is necessary for everyone.

In there case it works and might be even better.

They have money, fame, their own real estate, production companies, access to the world, and legal custody of their adopted kids, so they really do not need to get married.

Their kids are loved, and taken care of financially and they can afford plenty of childcare so that when the babies are screaming and kids are fighting, they have a little space to walk out of the room and let a child care helper step in. We all need time out from caring for kids, especially more than one, so they are covered on that front. Having help with the children, and a chance for some alone time, will help them keep their sanity and their sex life. They are pretty much living like an old married couple with kids, so a ceremony and legal documents is not what will hold them together or make their life better .. In that case, legal marriage might someday be the next step toward a more powerful commitment.

At the moment, they have the financial security to create the family life they choose and if they inspire a few civilians along the way, that’s a good thing!

Uh, actually Miss b*tchy (mother earth) it was about Brad’s movie O13, and the Oprah theme within that movie — and what I felt was being alluded to, was the sometime superficiality of the media, talking heads, and these talk show ‘types’ and their unwillingness to dig deeper into a story — the eagerness and NEED they have to create spectacles we can watch (be it the Terry Benedict dupe, or the Maniston dupe) and tug at heartstrings, which sometimes creates false heroes and heroines based on nothing but an ‘image,’ and a lie. It speaks to our need to watch other people spin their tall tales and just swallow whatever motivates them to come on a show like that…while we just sit back and do nothing….

..in the end, the O13 boys did not sit back and do nothing.

They did something good themselves, something that wasn’t meant for a TV spectacle - which they didn’t care about…they only cared that it was meaninful and real.

It’s an analogy for maniston.

Don’t worry your b*tchy little heart about it - we’re still discussing films…but don’t push me or I might start talking about how the b*tch’s eyes look like they are creeping ever more closer together than they were…Cyclopiston.

OT, but related to AMH somewhat:

A couple of threads back, someone made a remark that Ms.Jolie speaking about Sri Lanka is boring.. I think the exact wording was “who cares about Sri Lanka anyway?”

I meant to write then, but time constraints did not allow me. Now, Sri Lanka is interesting to show how fast a country can go from a success case to a basket case…So the following is not a reading for whomever finds Sri Lanka boring..

A Year After Massacre of Aid Workers, Sri Lanka Still Asks Who, When and Why?

MUTUR, Sri Lanka — The victims had been ordered to lie face down, arms outstretched, all in a row in the front yard of a white bungalow. Two lay next to a parked van, interrupted perhaps in a bid to escape.

Most of the dead wore T-shirts bearing the name of the aid group that employed them: the Paris-based Action Contre La Faim, or Action Against Hunger.

The bungalow was their local office, where they had huddled for at least three days last August, waiting to be rescued as soldiers and rebels battled for control of this town.

By the time help arrived, their bodies were decomposing. Photographs show crows standing witness on a plastic patio chair.

The massacre of the 17 was among the worst attacks aimed at aid workers in any conflict anywhere in recent years, approaching the toll in the bombing of the United Nations headquarters in Baghdad in August 2003.

But nearly a year after the massacre, the most basic questions about the killings remain unresolved.

….

She waited in the car, at the steering wheel, because he only took 5 min to take the pictures of the building, then they zoomed off. Probably no available parking space nearby.

So they went to Spain!!…Great choice!! and they are still there?.
I know I shouldn´t say this but, please there must be some photos!…

She probably stayed in the car because she was driving and they wanted to get away quick without being noticed if she had posed for pics they would have known where they are and papparazzi would be looking for them.

Orchid thank you for the tips that was thoughtufl of you and whoever thought about it :) Thank you all

I just saw A MIGHTY HEART. I went to the AMC theater in Chicago. I went downtown to see it. The showing was very nice, they gave us surveys to fill out, and as I was doing that a woman came in and announced that we had to move in togather beacuse the show was SOLD OUT. I was surprised, but the seats were all FULL. I had to go alone and I was glad I got to sit next to someone….cute.

Anyway GOOOOOO see this movie. You may think you will get bored, but you are the edge of your seat the entire time even though I knew what would happen. You get sucked in the minuate it starts and you keeping thinking they may find him, and the part where Marianne discovers his fate made my HEART ACHE WITH PAIN. You won’t be disappointed. Angelina and Dan Flutterman did such a good job.

a few words bout Bradley @ 06/24/2007 at 2:13 am

interviewer: You’re a romantic guy. You’ve been quoted as saying, “I am pretty much mush.” Does that mean you cry at Hallmark cards?

PITT: Yeah, well you know, I shed a tear at that commercial.
interviewer: So you’re still mush to this day?

PITT: A little bit. Listen, I wish I could be tougher.

interviewer: Any quotes that I read about people that truly know you, or people that you’ve worked with — they are astounded by your morals, astounded by your ethics, and you just made a face.

PITT: Listen, I don’t … morals, morals … I have a hard time with morals. All I know is what feels right, what’s more important to me is being honest about who you are. Morals I get a little hung up on.

They prolly left already. As far as artist’s are concerned, when I hear Spain, I think of Picasso.

Here is the Gehry masterpiece in Bilbao:

Brad Pitt: Being A Dad Is A Best Thing
Sunday, May 27th, 2007

Brad Pitt declares being a dad is the best thing that has ever happened to him. The star of the film “Ocean’s Thirteen” has spoken of his joy at being a parent.

The actor revealed, “The first scan is mind-blowing. I love being a dad - it’s the best thing that ever happened to me.”

It is not the first time Brad has expressed his parenthood happiness. The actor expressed recently that having kids as his greatest achievement. The actor revealed, “You know, you can write a book, you can make a movie, you can draw, paint a painting, but having kids is really the most extraordinary thing I’ve ever taken on.”

Brad Pitt also joked that he and Matt Damon spent most of their time on set discussing their kids.

Angelina Jolie Talks About Her Kids
Thursday, May 17th, 2007
Angelina Jolie, the star of “The Good Shepherd”, revealed that Brad Pitt spoils Zahara.

The 31-year-old actress insists she disciplines Zahara and Shiloh while Brad lays down the law for Maddox and Pax.

She revealed in an interview, “When it comes to disciplining the boys it is Brad and with the girls it’s me. It’s not intentional but Zahara can pretty much get anything she wants from her dad! Zahara and Maddox love Brad. Everybody seems to be safe in his arms.”

As for the Vietnamese boy adopted by the actress, Angelina Jolie revealed, “Pax loves his newfound freedom. He is almost three-and-a-half and has never made a real decision for himself because everybody did everything in a group in the orphanage where was staying. There were all these things he’d never had. The first time I gave him a bath, he was suddenly laughing, out of his mind. He took five baths in one day. We’d be talking and he’d take his clothes off and run into the bathroom.”

Brad Pitt Managed to Convince Angelina Jolie to Marry?

Angelina Jolie is reportedly getting set to walk down the aisle, and is secretly planning a ceremony that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

Washington, May 31 (ANI): Angelina Jolie is reportedly getting set to walk down the aisle once again, and is secretly planning a ceremony that won’t be forgotten anytime soon.

Brad has reportedly managed to overcome Jolie’s reluctance to walk down the aisle for a third time.

And, now that she’s accepted his proposal, it seems that Jolie is planning a wedding day that will be “really memorable”, even if it isn’t ‘unnecessarily lavish’, a source told Grazia magazine.

“Angelina has been reluctant to get married. Brad has been persistent and she has now given in, but she wants the day to be really memorable. While she doesn’t want it to be unnecessarily lavish, that’s not her style, it will still be an event Hollywood will never forget,” the source told the magazine.

The insider added that Jolie is also planning a daytime celebration that includes clowns and balloons and fire-eaters, so that the couple’s four kids – Maddox, 5, Pax, 3, Zahara, 2, and Shiloh, 1 – can enjoy themselves to the fullest.

However, the ‘real party’ will be in the evening.

“She also wants their children to see it as a huge celebration of her and Brad’s love for them. The daytime part of the celebration will be for the kids, with clowns and balloons and fire-eaters. But then the real party will begin in the evening,” the source said.

914 Kearnie

Hi Kearnie,

I am not sure if there is a solution that applies to all cases. Often problems in Africa are different than that of transition countries, or Sub-saharan Africa and North Africa face different crises…even in India, one region’s problem is different than the other. The problems are multilayered, so the solutions need to be as such. Often, simple solutions result with unintended consequences.. I just read a piece how clothing donations to third world countries are destroying local production. So while people in the developed countries think that they are helping, some women in the destination country lose their jobs. What to do? Donate and help, or not donate but push for local production capacity?

For my little bit, I am trying to formulate my solutions I can offer around the nexus of empowerment (of women foremost, but also poor) - opportunities (for education, for health) - resource allocation (fair distribution) and start from households. Did you know that in India, during drought times, women and girls eat last, leftovers, after men and boys? If I can see in my lifetime boys and girls are getting the same calories everywhere around the world, I will count this as our generation’s success.
