OK, I WANT TO WRITE IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I AM SO EXCITED AFTER SEEING A MIGHTY HEART BUT I WON’T SO I DON’T ANNOY….OK HERE GOES:

A Mighty Heart was heart wrenching and a perfet piece of filmmaking.

ANGELINA JOLIE WILL BE NOMINATED AND MAY WIN AN OSCAR FOR THIS.

This was Angie’s BEST performance. It was unbelievable. I have never seen her so raw and effortless. Actually I have not seen this level of acting in Hollywood in a couple of years where the actor is so comfortable and not making some HUGE effort to ACT. This seemed so natural for her - so unforced.

It was out of tis world!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am telling you: GO SEE THIS FILM. You will be amazed.

I also realize why Angelina Jolie is my favorite actress. I saw a 9:30pm show last night in Los Angeles and the theater was full of interesting, racially diverse, clearly educated and worldly people. The fans she attracts and the viewers she attracts are so sophisticated adn interesting.

Whereas you go to a certain unnamed former sitcom actress’ “films” and you see you know K-MArt shoppers on their break from a Baskin Robbins run. Not that I have ever seen that former sitcom actresses’ films but I have seen te 10 women who buy her movie tickets and they are kind of appalling.

Angie’s fans and viewer base is so racially diverse They were Asians, Blacks, WHites, Gay people, all ages, well dressed, punkers, artists etc at her film. She attracts and eclectic and exciting crowd - a true symbol of what American is becoming - that is her fan base.

I also felt goo knowing that the $12.75 (yes it coest that much in LA) I spent on her films is actually supportin gDarfur and other organizations. I know this may seem farfetched but it is true. So good to go to an actor’s film and know that the money you spend on them will be respent on good causes.

Again, this performance has to be seen to be believed. I am in awe. I did not think Angie could go there so completely and she does. How does she do it? Where does this inner life come from? how does she KNOW how to act this way? I am amazed, touched, awed and completely floored.

The best performance I have seen this entire year.

My ranting is over. Go see the film adn go see it for Dannie Pearl. Dannie seems like an incredible good non-judgmental man. Thank GOd Brad made this film.

There were many diverse people at my viwewing as well. But to my surprise was all the seniors who attended. I did not go during the day, I saw it Friday night. Angelina has a senior fanbase too? Who knew?

Children just love Angelina. I looked at that picture of her saying hi to the baby. Remember the baby in MMS? that smile he gave to Angelina was sooo cute. In the film AMH, the baby wanted a kiss from Angelina not just a wave goodbye, LOL!!!

AMH is small movie; if not for Angie I wasn’t to see it, even though I love it. I think Angie deserves an Oscar for her role.

Haters, this movie is going to be around for the next seven months or more making its way around the world and making big bucks. Repent and move on.

When I watched the movie last month, I was relieved that I wasn’t a servant girl, as I felt an early script had it. So I wrote to a producer, “Thumbs up okay on my end.” But I wasn’t being true to myself. I was reacting to the power and seduction of Hollywood.

I find this excerpt to be very telling in the Normani article. SHE GAVE THE THUMBS UP so what is she complaining about now?

Was she not thinking of Danny all along when she gave the thumbs up?

How convenient that she NOW is fighting for the image of Dannie Pearl AFTER the fact.

WHy not BEFORE THE MOVIE when they surely gave her some reward I would think for using her image?

Seduced by Hollywood and that bagel lunch with Brad Pitt - she clearly had no issues with Dannie’s image then so why whine now?????????

Also does she not get that this is what happens to any story told on film. The victim in a way becomes bigger than life and becomes a “star in a sense”. it is a weird tradeoff but why can’t she see the good in it?

Now Dannie will be forever rememberred because this film will exist forever.

Many journalists go missing but this one has a film that can potentially reach millions - what a gift to Danny.

The same can be said for Schindler’s List, Roots, Erin Brokovitch, rape stories, or any movies focusing on real life people. Once it goes on screen, the person enters a weird realm of publicity and fame. So what is the alternativ? Should all films about real life heroes be documentaries? NO! Some should be narratives and this is what happens in the narrative of a real life person. You can NEVER capture them perfectly - a special one who has died.

But that is the challenge. I find it weak of Normani to complain now. She played the game. She handed over her image. She engaged and NOW she is complaining. She is a smart woman - a Professor, a Journalist - it should not of taken seeing the DVD to know that once you portray a real life hero in a Hollywood film that hero’s family and image will be part of the red carpet thing. She should have known that.

Look at United 93: widows and widowers and children of people who died on that flight were at the Tribeca FIlm Festival premiere walking the red carpet with Robert Deniro and other famous people.

Does that minimize 911? No. It doesn’t change the reality of their pain - it just comes with the territory. Once you hand over your image to Hollywood then the cameras and red carpets follow.

Is Normani upset that she was reduced to Dannie’s “Assistant” (which I did not think she was)? DId she want a leading role? Did she want to be the star? Is THAT the problem?

The great trade-off in handing a real life person’s image to Hollywood (like United 93) is that the victims’ names will be forever remembered all around the world. I can’t think of a better celebration of Dannie Pearl’s life than that. Thank God he has tis film otherwise he’d be just another beheaded journalist.

May he rest in peace.

This is hilarious. I know I shouldn’t tease them, but I posted a comment on FF about hoping that Maniston and her new boyf get married and have a baby, and they got a bit overexcited. “I hope she has twins!!”, “I hope she names them after Brad and Angie’s characters in MMS!!” Read it, it’s pretty funny.
