Brad Pitt: The Next Naomi Campbell?

Brad Pitt: The Next Naomi Campbell?

SEXY IN A SUIT.

Brad Pitt was spotted throwing his cell phone — will he have to start serving community service like Naomi Campbell?

Methinks not!

Bradley was filming the second segment of his Japanese cell phone commercial for Softbank on Monday afternoon in Prague, Czech Republic. (See the first segment here.)

The father-of-four looked super sleek in an all-black suit, working up a range of emotions as he walked a runway with passing businessmen (well, people acting like businessmen).

Check out the thumbnails cell of Brad getting his cell phone throwing on…

Thanks for venting. It blows my mind that people who have not seen this powerful movie are clacking and clucking with glee over estimates that came within the studio projection. A Mighty Heart is a must see film. It is a message of tolerance, international relationship and the promotion of peace. There were many attemps leading up to the opening of this film to smear AJ. However, those with open-minds went and learn from this film. Hopefully, more people will put aside prejudices, tabloidism, and ignorance and go see this movie.

OMG, I can’t believe anyone is this stupid to think Brad got a facelift between Cannes and O13 opening in LA! LMAO!! Did you see how long it took Gene Simmons to recover when he had his done on his TV show? And what he looked like? All purple and swollen for weeks. How do people this dumb even get dressed everyday?

>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Hmmm, I believe many of these people get dress daily by just pulling on a T-shirt and/or sweater and dragging on a pair of trackie bottoms (as they are known in Australia). That way, they don’t have to deal with zips, buttons or coordinating anything. The KISS principle works really well for them.

Please let me vent. I cannot believe that anyone would not want this movie to be seen. Forget Brad and Angie. This is Marianne Pearl’s story about her husband …

From the Angie takes kids to school thread. It cute how Taraji describes how excited Brad was to introduce Angelina to her.

Taraji Henson talks about her role in David Fincher’s new movie THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON

Collider:
And what was your experience working with someone who’s literally always in the headlights of the paparazzi, I mean, I’m talking obviously about Brad Pitt.

Taraji:
And Cate, but Brad more so than Cate. It’s really weird because he’s so normal and so regular and so like not affected by it. It hurt me in a way because I’d be talking to him and they’d be people over the bushes and you could tell it’s like he looks at me as if why do they even want a picture of me like for real? What is it all about? My heart just bled for him because he had to use decoy cars and I’m just whistling walking to the set…hey paparazzi how are you doing? Want a picture of me? They’re like get out of the way. So, it was really interesting to see the opposite side, you know. To see what’s really going on behind the pictures on every tabloid magazine, because they’re regular normal people, you know. Angelina came to the set and he’s like a big kid, “Taraji I want you to meet Angie” and she’s just coming over and she’s all excited, the baby’s all excited and she’s like regular people

Jennifer Aniston Gets Behind Dumb Water
Filed under: not green — michael @ 7:02 pm
We’re a little late to the game on this story (we hate it when everyone else is having fun and doesn’t let us know!) but apparently Jennifer Aniston has decided to promote a bottled product called Smartwater. Oh, how deliciously wicked of her.

Anyone tuned into the environmental scene knows that bottled water is one of the dumbest inventions the human race has come up with. Yes, it has practical purposes in places where tap water is horribly wrong, but for the large majority of those living in the developed world, this is not an issue. It’s one of the reasons why UNICEF launched The Tap Project and why restaurants in San Francisco are starting to ban it in favor of tap water. We’ve been so brainwashed into believing that bottled water is better for us that we completely view any other alternative as a detriment to our health. Never mind the fact that tap water is more stringently monitored and more tightly regulated than bottled water. Never mind that of the 8 billion gallons consumed by Americans in 2006, only 15% of the bottles were recycled.

So, we’re definitely disappointed that Jennifer has become an investor and spokesperson for Smartwater — a label that claims to be a sports drink because of its infused electrolytes. Um, right. Sure, she’ll make lots of money — bottled water makes billions a year — but it’s just a strange move for someone who has been involved in charity work many times before and understands the desperation out there for access to clean water.

______________________________

Basically, it is dumb to buy smart water for daily drinking. Sure you can buy bottled water if you are out, forgotten to bring your own water and are thirsty. I usually keep the bottle after I’ve finished with it, re-fill with tap water and take it out with me the next time.

Just know this:

(1) you are spending money on marketing and branding because tap water is just as good as bottled water and in fact, some of that bottled water is tap water. Ofr course, its your money so go ahead and spend it.

(2) those plastic bottles add to pollution and our land fill problems.

(3) Understand that eating a balance diet of healthy food will deliver the benefits of vitaminised water. Whilst our body may be able to absorb some vitamins delivered in a tablit form, there is a body of evidence that shows that eating the whole FOOD, say, a tomato, delivers all the benefits of the antioxidants that is contained in a tomato, whereas taking a tablet which says it contains the antioxidants of tomatoes doesn’t do anything for your body. To get the antioxidants benefits of tomatoes, you need to eat it with the tomato because the tomato contains other things which complement and aids absorption of the antioxidant. Medical science doesn’t fully understand this process yet.

AMH isn’t as highly publicized as most people would think. Yeah, Angelina did dozens of interviews for magazines and tv shows. But the trailer is rarely on tv, and when it is its only like 20 seconds. The most common trailers right now on tv are Harry Potter and Transformers. Big blockbusters like this can overshadow an indie film like AMH.

Did anyone read the NYT on TMZ.com? The following is an excerpt and bold is my addition…reads familiar?

~c.

“Howard Bragman, a publicist who owns the firm Fifteen Minutes, which represents Ricki Lake, Leeza Gibbons and Isaiah Washington, has also found some benefits to dealing with TMZ.

“Compared to many of the other outlets, they’re 1,000 percent better. If you have a good relationship with them, they’ll change an occasional word or swap an occasional picture, but that’s just for friends of the family,” he said. “And since it goes around the world in seconds, you can leak something to them without fingerprints and it looks like somebody else did it. I’ve certainly done that.” ”

Please let me vent. I cannot believe that anyone would not want this movie to be seen. Forget Brad and Angie. This is Marianne Pearl’s story about her husband who happened to be Jewish, who was killed while repeating that he was Jewish. And yet even while all the representatives of the countries portrayed fearing that he might be Israeli Intelligence fought to save his life. Right now the United States can use all of the tolerance it can garner from every nation. Brad and Angie don’t need another dollar, they don’t need another award. However, we need to have this story told. I wonder if we had spent the money that has been spent on the Iraq war on the children of Darfur, the Sudan, Indonesia, Afganistan and our own if the rest of the world would want to commit acts of brutality against us.

I saw it on Friday night and know that I need to go back again. The really disgusting thing is that the people who are so violent about Brad and Angie aren’t kids. Whatever mistakes or rewards Brad and Angie have, those belong to them but if we don’t learn the lessons of a Marianne Pearl of tolerance and forgiveness, of seeking justice, of speaking truth, we will never get out from this mess we are in right now.

Hey you…how are ya? Welcome back. Why, it sure is nice to see you on here. Well, I hope you post more often….I know, I know there isn’t enough time in the day but surely you can make time for your cyber pals

Thanks :-)
I try and stop by every day to at least read the threads if not the comments. Haven’t had much time lately to really sit down and comment back and forth.
Running after a toddler and getting ready for the next one is wearing me out, lol.
I did get to read the last few threads and the JPs look as busy as ever. I did have a few things to say about the whole Jen/Jane thing because I thought people were being so obtuse about it. Angie and Brad are as secure as ever and Jen is in a whole separate world.
I was pissed that some people were making Jane out to be disloyal when I really think she has Brad & Angie’s blessing. But oh well, I’ve learned engaging in net fights is pointless, lol.
It’s enough to just enjoy the JPs :-)
Still patiently waiting for A Mighty Heart to come somewhere near me!

Yummy!!! Can’t say anything esle!

Selling cell phones, how about selling out?

Stop posting O13 numbers like Brad is the only reason it is making the money. GC, MD, DC, CA, AP, BM and EB are bring in the fans too DUH!

Continuing on with my lecture to Goof because I’m sure he/she is interested:

Mobile phones and Smart water are not the same thing at all.

Mobile phones, are pretty much a necessity if you want to do business these days. In the 3rd world countries, mobile phones connect fishermen to their markets and the fishermen are actually getting more money for their $$ because they connect with each other and their customers and do their bidding on the phone, before they bring in their catch. If they can get a better price in Port A vs Port B, they travel to Port A, which might take an extra hour to get to. More money translates to better healthcare, better education for their children which translates to real life economic gains for these children. An opportunity to climb out of the poverty trap.

Mobile phones has increased the world’s efficiency and productivity gains, particularly in the third world. I remember trying to call Indonesia or India back in 1996 and I would have to get my secretary to sit on the phone and try and patch the call through. Sometimes, it could take an hour to reach my colleague or a client on in jakarta or Mumbai. Now, it’s just a regular call, no need for a secretary to sit and try and patch a call through.

Even in the developed world such as the US, Mobile phones have improved efficiency and productivity. Ask any working person, especially a working person with young children and you’ll know how they feel about having their phone with them when they are working or when their kids are not around. It is such a comfort to know that the teacher or day care can reach you in case of emergencies. Not to mentiion the amount of work you can get through calling on your handsfree mobile when you are stuck in traffic.

Summary:

Mobile phones are actually USEFUL in both developed and 3rd world countries. Mobile phones, raises productivity, raises income, raises opportunities.

Bottled water, including smart water isn’t a necessity when you live in a developed country with clean water supplies. Bottled water is more a marketing gimmick. In 3rd world countries, focus is needed to provide clean water in taps to the poor, not bottled water.

I rest my case.
