Faith Hill: To Stroller or Not to Stroller?
Country crooner Faith Hill and hubby Tim McGraw take their three daughters — Gracie, 10, Maggie, 8 1/2, and Audrey, 5 1/2 — for a walk around the Yorkville neighborhood of Toronto, Canada on Sunday afternoon.
Faith, 39, and Tim, 40, grabbed Starbucks for the whole family and also brought along one of their pet pooches, Patio. Faith seems to be eating a granola or cereal bar…
WHAT DO YOU THINK of Faith’s daughter Audrey using a stroller at the age of almost 6? Most children are weaned off using a stroller at the age of 4.

Ugh, I don’t like Faith Hill. In interviews she comes off as arrogant to me. I don’t know much about her or her family, but in interviews she rubs me the wrong way. Then there was that whole hilarious Carrie Underwood incident. WHAT?! Haha. Anyway, I noticed how someone was like, “why do you want kids to grow up so fast these days.” I have the opposite perspective. I think that these days, kids are staying kids for too long and don’t want to grow up (or don’t really know how to.) And parents don’t want them to grow up either, because admitting that means recognizing their own aging and the fact that their kids don’t need them as much. Although I don’t know the circumstances surrounding this photo, I do know that no kid that’s almost 6 should be in a stroller regularly. That situation indicates someone who is unwilling to let their kid grow up. Parents often have difficulty letting the youngest child grow up; they baby them as long as they possibly can.
Maybe she was tired or had a sore leg.
I know she was born very early and could easily have problems with walking. You never know. I do always see her sitting in Faith’s lap and I have seen pictures of Audrey walking but maybe she can only handle so much. Or, it’s just that..lol They decided to let her ride in the stoller. Don’t think it will make or break anyones day!
At least they are taking care of their kids unlike some other hollywood moms or moms to hollywood kids.
By the way the dog is palio. Nobody looks too happy in this picture.probably because they are tired of pictures being taken all the time. the stroller being used for a child this age. Tim use to always carry one of the kids on his shoulders. maybe they were not thinking about what others would think, but I guarantee, they will think twice about this the next time they want to use a stroller. It could be that Audrey gets tired real easily and they didn’t want to have to carry her or had no plans to stop anywhere. the fact is that they are a closeknit family and care about spending time with their children and are trying to do right by them.it is not right having a child that age in a stroller, there
must be a health reason for this. She could have kept bothering palio while it was walking, that is possible. Boy, Faith has her hands full, with a dog too. no wonder they decided not to have any more children.
Wow, so many people in here are acting as if Tim and Faith are pushing around Baby Huey in that stroller…LMAO!
Six years old or not, she’s a little girl riding around in a covered stroller on a hot day…go to any theme park in Orlando in the heat of the summer and see how many older kids are pushed around in rented strollers just to save on time and tears.
Before you call Child Protective Services and/or Dr. Phil on the McGraws, consider this…when you’re a parent (and I’m sure many critics here AREN’T), you pick and choose your battles. When you’re on a vacation that involves a lot of walking and you have a small child, you bring a stroller - that’s what smart parents do.
Yeah, heaven forbid there be something ‘wrong’ with this little girl. That would make Tim and Faith less perfect wouldn’t it.
Personally, I dont care if Audrey rides around in a stroller. I’m 29 and if I could still fit in one you can bet your booty I would.
Why do you refer the daughter as only Faith’s? Tim had a role in producing the child too…
Guys, come on. Stop being so judgemental. You have no idea if the kid is sick or disabled. Someone mentioned that the child has difficulties at birth. Maybe she has trouble walking or breathing. I live in Toronto and it’s been 35 degrees celsius (almost 100 F, I beieve) and it’s HOT. Maybe she does need a wheelchair or something and doesn’t want to use one. Can you blame her? Leave the kid alone.

“Ok here is a perfect example of a picture only telling a certain part of a story. We saw them this Sunday. They were not alone. They were with others and they seemed like they were going somewhere (park etc..) They only stopped at Starbucks and the kid that was in the stroller got out and was waiting in line with her parents. The older daughter pushed the stroller as the younger one jumped in for a bit. They were trying on some princess dresses first. She jumped out when they met back up and took the dress off. (it was over her clothes) that is why you see no stroller and no dress in the other pics. They did not seem there to shop as they were all dressed down and this is a very very ritzy high class part of town. There hotel was probably there and they just went past Yorkdale. Did not see them stop to shop.
This was not her stroller she just sat in it to enjoy a drink and a little ride from older sis.
So glad CBB did not post it to rouse up the stroller conflict again as this was not the case.
…. it was and for a very very short time they waited outside of the store. It is a very small store to take a big stroller into. they crossed the street as the intersection was busy lots of walking going on at Yorkville. When the couple came back she hoped right out and took the princess dress off and shoved it under the stroller. Funny how so many conclusions can be drawn from a picture.”
im sure the person who saw them, then posted that wont mind if i post it here.
I think you all need to stop critizing. No one knows why the child is using the stroller. It could be for various reason. A question like the one asked is not fair but saying she is not a good parent and that the child is messed up is not nice. You all came up with all that from one picture of a small child in a stroller?
I have no problem with the stroller issue - Depending on how far they are walking….I know I would like to be able to sit in a stroller sometimes after a long day of walking!! haha
What’s the big deal - Maybe a bigger stroller of some kind would have made her look more comfortable - But to each their own.
If Audrey wants to be in the stroller let her. I wouldnt put up a big fight about it because its not that big of a deal!!! She could be doing a lot worse. I dont see why all of you people are making it seem like she is dumb or spoiled or anything because shes not. If i were Faith or Tim I would not care!!! COME ON AND GET REAL, KIDS GET TIRED WALKING,AND WHEN ITS HOT IT DOESNT HELP. we do not know any health problems she may have. If she has asthma it would be harder on her to walk because of the heat causing her to have problems breathing. she is not our daughter, she is Faiths and Tims so just leave it at that! It is their choice. NOT yours so dont worry about it!!!
one picture is worth a thousand words. I could tell by looking at the other pictures that this child symply climbed in for a short time. you can see she is too big for it. big deal. I do not think their kids are spoiled. they take care of their kids and they only use nannys for short times, like when they have to be someplace without the kids. and many times I have seen pics of them, Audrey was walking. and Tim spends plenty of time with all three of their daughters. they have shared parenting since they started their family. they both have talked about that. she says he does everything she does when she isn’t around. Except of course when she was nursing. I think
the reason why they decided not to have any more kids is because of her health when she had each one, they were all early. She is probably afraid to have anymore and he said he doesn’t want to be 50 and have a ten year old. he does not think it would be fair to the child. so big deal they used a stroller, there are a lot of people who have done that. it is true, if the child has an asthma problem, heat is bad on that, and a stroller would help.
I forgot to mention that they are a very attractive family. the girls are realy adorable. I don’t think either of the girls is spoiled, either.
I totally agree with you Myra. I also love that they take the girls wherever they can with them. They all are adorable and none are spoiled. Tim and Faith would do anything for their daughters and Tim does as much as Faith does. People need to worry about their own lives instead of talking bad about someone elses.
I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. My three-year-old barely needed a pushchair when she was two, and my one-year old is encouraged to walk if she wants to. By the age of 5 1/2 if there is nothing obviously wrong with the child (in which case use a wheelchair) then I think that the parents are just being lazy, taking the easy option trying to always please their child. I’m they are great parents, but babying a child will not help them in the long run.

Ok, first we really don’t know how long the child was in the stroller, so we really can’t judge. Neither do we live with Tim and Faith, so we can’t comment on their parenting (good or bad)! I have noticed Tim’s (not Faith’s) lack of attention toward Maggie, as was mentioned in a couple earlier comment, in pictures and interviews, but like I said we don’t live with them, so we don’t know. I have also heard that Tim and Faith have very respectful kids, from comments from their help, but we don’t live with them so we don’t know. We have heard of Audrey’s health problems at birth, but we don’t know for sure of her current healt (good or bad)!
Who cares, I live in Toronto and apparently they were with other ppl and the stroller was theirs, the littlest on hopped in for a ride with her dress on and hopped out a few minutes later.
Really ppl need to find something more signficant to pass judgement on LOL
I was at both thier concerts in Toronto and they were amazing and it was so adorable when Maggie was on stage singing with Tim.
I don’t think she’s too old for a stroller if they were going to be walking for a long time. I’ve had instances where my 5 year old wanted to sit in an umbrella stroller we were no longer pushing his younger sibling in (we were carrying her) because his legs were tired. I think it looks odd because the stroller is more of what you would use for an infant than for an older child.
there aren’t a lot of pictures taken with the kids, but that does not mean that Tim doesn’t spend enough time with Maggie. He was on cmt insider with her, and she said “last dollar” was not her favorite and Tim was laughing and said she doesn’t like my music and that doesn’t bother him and Faith. I read that maggie enjoys music from plays. Their kids are also into piano playing. they are not pushy parents but encouraging their kids all three of them to go after their dreams. they always talk about being so opposite but they are more alike than they realize. I saw them in Omaha, I was not able to see the kis though, they were not out during that show, but the show was still AMAZING. THE HOTTEST ONE THEY HAVE HAD.

BY THE WAY, PANDORA, I HEARD THAT ALL THE KIDS WERE POTTY TRAINED EARLY, SINCE THEY SPEND A LOT OF TIME ON THE ROAD. GRACIE AND MAGGIE WERE EARLY AT WALKING AND TALKING AND GRACIE WAS POTTY TRAINED BY THE AGE OF 2. I THINK THAT IS PRETTY DARN GOOD. IN OUR AREA DAYCARE WILL ONLY TAKE CHILDREN WHO ARE TRAINED BY THE AGE OF TWO. I HONESTLY THINK THAT IS PRETTY EARLY, BUT IF SOME CAN DO IT, MORE POWER TO THEM. AS FAR AS THE STROLLER GOES, SHE WAS ONLY IN IT FOR A FEW MINUTES. PAPARAZI HAD A FIELD DAY WITH HIS ONE!
Honestly, why does it matter if she is disabled or not, maybe she is and they don’t want it to be public knowledge whether or not she is, and what if she just has an issue with walking for a long period of time? I mean come on, she is 5 1/2 and in a stroller, it isn’t like she was breast feeding a 5 year old in public or anything, it is a freaking stroller
If you don’t know what happened before and after the photos were taken people shouldn’t be commenting. Like I said on the other site I am sure Tim and Faith know whats is best for their children. And really has anyone with small children walked around a big city like Toronto. I have, its hard on the parents and the child. This heat doesn’t help matters.
