i’ve always thought they were boring and ben was an a-hole but BAM! i think i really would be upset if they split up! hopefully this “serious” conversation has more to do with ben’s aspiring political ambitions than their personal relationship.

Ben Affleck always looks like a miserable SOB. He doesn’t appear to enjoy playing family man at all - he looks bored.

My daughter is a 23 year old university student, has her BA and is going on to get her Masters. She had a pacifier until she was almots 4 years old. She is responsible, hard working and oh, yes, her teeth are perfect (without the help of braces). Seriously! If sucking a soother is the worst thing a little girl can do (no screaming, no fits, no whining) then really, what is the harm?

I’m thinking it’s much ado about nothing - every couple has their ups and downs. Sometimes everyday life IS a bit boring. That’s reality.

i think they got married and with child too soon–they were still in the honeymoon stage (which is MINIMALLY 2 years)

shes already gone thru this with Scott Foley (who was a real catch–a wonderful guy!!!). shes probably more apt to work it out because of that.
hes another story. hes made messes before and been the heartbreaker.

THey look perfectly happy to me. They are living alife– not living a life for the cameras. You just read into random pictures what you want it to be and you are certainly good at writing fiction Callie!

Someone who has common sense. Like Mike said they don’t look like their arguing, they don’t look glum, they just look neutral. Do all celebs have to grin 24/7 or throw their arms around each other for everyone not to make up fiction like “they’re breaking up!” GIve them a break!

Leave them alone! Geez people lol. They are just talking. Who knows what about…..maybe a family emergency or maybe about how tired they are LOL. Who knows? No one does.

I agree. They are just talking. I don’t think they are arguing or looking glum. Vacations can be stressful and tiring with a toddler and on top of that with other families. To me that is not as relaxing as just getting away with just your own close family. Group vacations are not relaxing.

They look like my husband and I do every morning having breakfast. They’re fine I’m sure, it’s interesting how everybody is focusing on the pictures where they supposedly look “glum” but not the picture where they are kissing. I would probably be more inclined to think something was wrong if one of them was crying or had their head in their hands. Remember they have been on vacation for a week, seeing each other 24/7, during their normal lives in LA they are separated atleast several hours by work. They are probably sick of each other.
On another note, is Ben wearing crocs? Talk about normal…..

Well, Violet had a leaky diaper so Jenn went to the Ladies room to change it. Ben then picked up the baby’s ball and blanket and rinsed off his sandy shoes and met them at the car.

wow these two have some serious probs!FOR ME!I first saw the pics on popsugar and they don´t write anything about their expressions on their faces but I was thinking the same thing like JJ wrote!Look at the 8th pic she´s walking aways and he sits there and he is in a pensive mood!If they would talk about the release of his directoral debut she wouldn´t look so pissed and he either.
Sometimes you recognize especially on the vacation that you don´t love that person enough!they NEVER looked connected to each other for me or really in love ok she kisses him and…..

Grace, she left to get the baby’s diaper changed! HE followed right behind with the ball and blanket! Stop making this some big drama it isn’t! I wish they would always show a video life is so less dramatic than you all make it up to be. THere is not even one picture of her looking pissed or him looking mad except in your mind because you want them to split up. THey share that sweet kiss and you still say they don’t look connected? How much more connected can they be before you are happy? Rolling on the ground making out good enough only? I believe you just want them to split up so you are constantly harping on how they are not in love. You must not be happy in your own life or what is it==Vartan or JLo fan? They are such a creepy couple. No matter how much I want to like them together, I cannot get past the fact that JG got him to marry her by getting knocked up. Do people really think that he would have lasted this long with this opague person had she not had his kid…somehow I don’t seem to think so. She tries too hard to be the girl next door and the good mother, She is so uglie, she has the biggest feet, the biggest forehead, ears and uglie cellulite. She is one uglie dude. I hope they stay together, they deserve eachother…they are boring. About pacifiers….they are actually sizes of pacifiers made for 18-36 month old children. Dentists say that the pacifier does not harm children’s teeth, it is thumb sucking that does that, because the thumb is not orthodontically designed. Most children will give up the pacfier on their own if you don’t make a big deal out of it.

Yes you are right. you are reading too much into these pictures. Its obvious little violet pooped in her pants (it happens with babies) Ben smelled it and Jen went to change her. Give them a break and stop with your melodrama. You all are being ridiculous.By the way Ben was just holding her in the pictures published a couple of days ago.There have been plenty of pictures of him holding her. He holds her a lot more than Angelina holds Shiloh!

Look, they are on vacation and there hasn’t been any pics of them together alone the entire time and the only pic that surfaces is one of them in serious conversation. One in which Jennifer Garner looks like she’s crying and ends with her walking away and him looking pensive.

This is not a good sign no matter how you try and spin it. I don’t hope they divorce, but I can’t sit and play pretend like these two have what it takes. They never have seemed that in love to me either.

I mean so many women were so happy he became a family man, I just wonder what people will think of him say it doesn’t work.

I never thought he was mega-talented as an actor either, but I do tend to like him in more indie movies. He seems to do better in those, or maybe it’s just a better fit for him.

I think some people are just fans of celebrity and not the actual talent of the actor/actress. So, for example, they are fans of the Garner/Affleck relationship, but could care less for what movies they are in, for that reason I wonder how it will affect his career.

I guess you’re right though if some people are just fans of the relationship then they were never true fans anyway so it won’t hurt him much, ‘cuz it didn’t help him much either.

That is an interesting observation. I used to like him though like about 5-6yrs ago. Something changed. He always looks like he just gave up in life,,, I dont know…
Oh well and just when people were starting to think that Gigli was bad,, those were aparently the epitome of him career.
