Jen & Ben’s Serious Sit-down

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner look unusually glum-looking during a serious sit-down conversation on the beach in Hawaii on Sunday.

As their pacifier-sucking daughter Violet, 19 months, played in the sand, the couple appeared to be having quite the serious conversation.

Their conversation did end with a sweet kiss before before Jen took off with their toddler, with Ben following behind.

We are discussing Ben and Jen, did you have to go there? How are the two related? Refresh my memory.

It is very clear that she spends alot of time with her daughter,,, something I can not say for him. He just looks bored and uninterested whenever he is with her. Could he even pretend once in a while to look atleast happy.

At the end of the day she looks like she tries too hard to act like evrything is okay and that is my red flag!!

I agree with Prada.

Look, they are on vacation and there hasn’t been any pics of them together alone the entire time and the only pic that surfaces is one of them in serious conversation. One in which Jennifer Garner looks like she’s crying and ends with her walking away and him looking pensive.

This is not a good sign no matter how you try and spin it. I don’t hope they divorce, but I can’t sit and play pretend like these two have what it takes. They never have seemed that in love to me either.

I wonder what will happen to his career say the do split.

I mean so many women were so happy he became a family man, I just wonder what people will think of him say it doesn’t work.

I dont think it will affect his career much. He hasnt worked seriously in the past couple of years. That will not change.

This marriage thing did not boost or trump his career. I know I still wont watch his movies. The movie he did got good reviews but did not make money at the box office,, makes you wonder who are his fans????

I never thought he was mega-talented as an actor either, but I do tend to like him in more indie movies. He seems to do better in those, or maybe it’s just a better fit for him.

I think some people are just fans of celebrity and not the actual talent of the actor/actress. So, for example, they are fans of the Garner/Affleck relationship, but could care less for what movies they are in, for that reason I wonder how it will affect his career.

I guess you’re right though if some people are just fans of the relationship then they were never true fans anyway so it won’t hurt him much, ‘cuz it didn’t help him much either.

Studios are not high on Ben. He will not be getting the big money he was cause he did so much crap. People in Hollywood, those putting movies together, feel Ben would simply hurt their films. He is not getting good offers these days and is back to trying to convince people to use him.

That is an interesting observation. I used to like him though like about 5-6yrs ago. Something changed. He always looks like he just gave up in life,,, I dont know…
Oh well and just when people were starting to think that Gigli was bad,, those were aparently the epitome of him career.

Ben has a promising career as a director which is much better than a actor. He does not have to appease some fly by night fan base. he can just make movies and live his life. I think that works perfectly for him.

BTW for those of you who say Jennifer trapped Ben into marrying. Well I would say that is very impossible. If Ben did not put a shield on that thing, then it is his fault as well.
