I have mixed emotions about that. On one hand, VV’s rank went down in my book when he sued the British tabs about his cheating with another woman; on the other hand, the tabs here are getting out of hand. And while I totally got why someone like Carol Burnett sued the tabs for a story similar to Jesse Metcalfe’s, I’m not so sure if his really has weight. False stories can damage a career, but what ‘career’ does Metcalfe have? Has he done anything lately besides exit rehab?

I just think that many other stars have greater cause to sue; but then again, if he has a lawyer, he can do whatever he wants, I guess.

Thanks for the pictures Just Jared. BP and AJ work hard for the money. They are also good people that give back. Not many celebrites can say the same. Whether you think it is a photo op or paps tracking their every move, they are living their lives, taking care of their family and earning their pay. At the end of the day, they go home to 4 loving, loud and happy children. This commerical is turning into a 3 part epic. It will be interesting and fun to see it. I was comparing AMH with Capote (Philip Seymour Hoffman got the Oscar for this movie) and Capote openned with $2,291,075, $1,849 average. Ended with $28,750,530 domestic and $20,482,631 foreign. AMH will do great in the end, because the reviews are very very good and it’s a important history

It is right on target with other Indie movies. After Babel’s first opening weekend it went down by 63% the following Monday and another 35% the following Tuesday. Not a lot of people go to movies the beginning of a work week. Babel started gaining by 43% on Wednesday and went on to have a more productive weekend than its opening weekend earning $919,235 in comparison to its opening weekend of $389,351. Then of course went on to make $34 mill domestically and $135 mill total. So, actually AMH is right on target. It should go down at least another 35% tomorrow and then start gaining speed on Wednesday for the weekend.

Angelina was shooting the main day I was on the set and could not have been more friendly. It was weird meeting here after seeing her face on the cover of almost every magazine in the airport, but she’s very easy-going, super-smart and pretty hot too. She can engage about everything from Henry Kissinger to British comedies and has a huge DVD collection, her impression of Little Britain’s chav teenager being a jaw-dropper as it’s the last thing I expected to come out of her mouth. Got on very well with her and she seemed into the material so all looking good.

Just Who Was Daniel Pearl?
New Film Raises Questions of Man vs. Myth

Asra Nomani should have loved “A Mighty Heart,” the new feature film about journalist Daniel Pearl’s abduction and murder in Pakistan five years ago.

Pearl’s onetime Wall Street Journal colleague was, after all, a consultant on the film and a central player in the story itself. It was her Karachi home that became the headquarters for the weeks-long search that forms the movie’s spine. But despite the fact that Nomani was given a say about a host of small details — right down to the kind of notebooks the film’s reporters used as props — the final product didn’t sit well with her.

“I just don’t believe in the movie and the mythology of its marketing and PR campaign,” she wrote to one of the producers. (Her e-mail was later reprinted on the Web site Gawker.com.) “As much as the talking points say that this movie is for Danny and that everyone made the movie for the right reasons, I don’t at all feel that it is for Danny or that noble intentions underl[ie] this movie.”

With A-list director Michael Winterbottom at its helm, and mega-watt star Angelina Jolie playing the role of Pearl’s six-months-pregnant wife, Mariane, “A Mighty Heart” is easily the biggest Pearl tribute to date, but it is hardly the first. In the years since Pearl was slain, countless awards, fellowships, lectures, dialogues and even musical compositions have been named for him — all, ostensibly, dedicated to furthering his legacy; all, presumably, “for Danny.” In the process, Pearl, like Alfred Dreyfus before him, has become a Jew who, because of a peculiar intersection of history and biography, has been transformed into something larger than himself: the stuff of myth, an icon. He has become infinitely meaningful — indeed, capable of representing conflicting meanings. He has been invoked as an ambassador of peace and a justification for war, a proud Jew and a humanist who saw beyond religious particularism, an ordinary man and a holy martyr. (In an unprecedented move, the Miami Holocaust Memorial recently added Pearl’s name to the 30,000 etched on its memorial wall — the first non-victim of the Shoah to be so remembered.)

Can a single person’s memory bear the weight of so much significance?

Those who knew Pearl have responded to his growing legacy in varying ways. For Nomani, the chasm between Pearl the man and Pearl the myth has become too great. For Mariane Pearl, whose memoir served as the basis for the new film, her husband’s memory is something that needs to be guarded against undue sanctification. And for Pearl’s father, Judea, arguably the chief custodian of his son’s legacy, the Daniel he knew and the Daniel of myth are, more often than not, of a piece.

Initially, Mariane Pearl did not want her book turned into a movie. “I just didn’t think it was right,” she recently told Newsweek. She worried that her husband would be made into “a saint.” In interviews, Mariane Pearl, herself a journalist, eschews the language of myth; she doesn’t speak of her husband’s “legacy.” “To me,” she told Newsweek, the film is “a story about Danny being held by extremely intolerant people, and yet we, in that house in Pakistan — Christian, Hindu, Jew, Buddhist, Muslim — came together to find him.”

In her book, too, Mariane Pearl’s focus is on the concrete. Her husband emerges not as larger than life but as flesh and blood. “Danny goes to the most unexpected hairstylists,” she writes, poignantly using the present tense. “The more picturesque the barbershop, the happier Danny is. Most of the time the barbers don’t speak English, but this way one is always assured of a surprising result. This is Danny’s way of facing the world: with trust.”

Mariane Pearl’s approach to her husband’s memory has, in subtle but unmistakable ways, been different from that of Pearl’s parents. In addition to her memoir, she wrote the preface to a collection of his Wall Street Journal articles. Pearl’s parents, meanwhile, released the anthology “I am Jewish,” reflections on Pearl’s last words by a Who’s Who of the Jewish world, and began a foundation “to promote cross-cultural understanding through journalism, music, and innovative communications.”

Reached by phone at home in Los Angeles, Judea Pearl spoke with the Forward about his son’s legacy and some of its seeming paradoxes, beginning with the tension between Daniel the man of peace and Daniel as justification for war.

“He was a bridge builder,” said Pearl, a professor of computer science at UCLA, “who has become an instrument of indictment against radical Islam. It’s not unreasonable that a person who would devote his life to building bridges will become an indictment when his death is perceived to be a betrayal of what he stood for.”

Asked if there was a tension between Daniel the bridge builder and Daniel the Jew, Pearl demurred.

“Universal humanity emanates from personal empathy,” said Pearl, who was born in Tel Aviv in 1936. “Tribalism is stepping stone to universal understanding.”

Unlike Nomani and Mariane, Judea Pearl is comfortable with the language of myth. Indeed, he said, the mythology that has come to envelop his son has only helped bring him more clearly into view.

“The more I go through this, the more I see he was really a great man,” Pearl said. “I’m learning through imagining his reactions. I don’t understand how I missed it in his life. I should have spent more time with him. I should have used him more. I should have learned from him more. The mythology still hasn’t grasped what he really was.”

Please stop promoting Asra. We can post all the positive reviews, why do we like controversy? This movie promotes a very important message, that’s what we need to read about.

Weeeeeell, there IS a long standing practice for A listers NOT to do commercials in the US. If you do a commercial and it shows in the US (print or tv ad) it shows you aren’t top of the heap. We don’t make “the rules”, we just know what they are. In this case, they fit too.

I saw a commercial and I cannot remember what they are advertising but this young woman was walking a crowded street passing in between cars and finally saw the person (man) she was looking for. I think the background music was “I wonder why, I walk the line.”
They could make a commercial that Brad is wearing this hot pair of jeans while walking at a crowded street and all the good looking women (really goodlooking women like models) were staring at him while he passes by, then these women follow him curious where he was going. Then the final shot would be his final stop near a car with Angie wearing the same brand jeans pushing a stroller with a baby sitting there. Then all the women will sign!!!

Let’s not become more childish about why Pax seems more at ease & “playful” with Mickey than with his dad - None of you “see” what happens in their private lives once they get away from the paps… Pictures can be interpreted in many ways: someone is “smiling” at their loved one is proof of a deep devotion [a non-judging person]; while a “negative” person sees only the fact that it’s not BOTH of them smiling at each other, and that’s “proof” of them NOT loving each other, but playing games instead.

Does that make sense to any of you?

I’ve seen the same pictures all of you have seen, and it reminds me of my own nephew’s reactions re: his DAD vs: his uncles & brothers. His dad was EVERYTHING to him growing up, and his uncles & brothers were “recess”.

Between the ages of 3-8 he used words like: “play with me” & “I’m gonna use you like a tree and climb you” - While his dad got: “what’s this” & “what’s that”, etc. Hell, at 4 years old Sam was trying in his limited way to tell his dad why the moon had all those holes and was “naked” [no grass, trees, water, etc.] compared to Earth. All his dad did was gape at him, shake his head, and say: “I’m NEVER gonna read the National Geographic around him without an encyclopedia at hand.”

Dads to sons are the ones they want to make proud, follow in BIG footsteps - to eventually show THEIR sons where they will belong in this world of kindness & cruelty; ignorance & knowledge; tolerance & condemnation.

Be well assured: Pax, like his brother & sisters love their dad [& mom] to pieces but the paps can’t or won’t show us this with THEIR pictures… THEY don’t have 24/7/365 access to this family.

Pitt is pretty average looking but he plays it up, plus he looks like he has had surgery……

Brad has these commercial contracts already even before the AMH filming. Besides Angie and Brad did the movie not for awards or money, they did it to put a moving picture to Marianne’s book and did it in a very amazing and brilliant way, that we could see tragedy and forgiveness as part of reality. If Angie wants a blockbuster she could have accepted a “James Bond type” movie where her acting skills would not be challenged but it will make good money. Even a low budgeted film like Oceans 13 which made bank, the crew gave part of the profit to charity. I don’t think Angie is even dreaming of an Oscar for AMH, she has one already. And being Brad’s partner and waking up with him each day is better than an Oscar.

Hey I don’t know how to cook too, I figure all the great chefs in the worlds are mostly men, so god intend must be for us women not to cook and most of the women are very good at socializing, so his intention for us is to have fun and partying……hehehehe. Truth be told , i feel that men make the best chefs and the best hair stylists. All the best restaurants here in town have male chefs because the waiter/waitresses tell you when you ask them.
I just adore eating gourmet and exotic foods and I ‘m too lazy to cook nowasyas. When my kids were young, I used to cook a lot more.
I’m tall and still pretty slim but have to exercise more more as one gets older , don’t we all.

Anyway, saraicita, just start with simple recipes and grow from there. Grilling is the simplest. have your hubby clean up. I always grill salmon , easiest to do and tastes gd. I also make a very nice blueberry crepe. . Nowadays, i buy in a lot.Love whole foods.

Am excited you’re going to New York next week. Want to all about it when you get back.
My husband and I are going there too in early Sept..also for 5 days.

G’Nite JP fans in BAMPZsville. I am sorry to say that I am extreemly disturbed by the pictures and the tone of the thread so far. (I am just on pg. 4)

First, kudos to the fans for snapping back at the horrible comments about an obviously TERRIFIED Child. It is no doubt a testament to Angelina’s calm demeanor that the child is not howling!

Secondly, this is the second time in less than a week that one of her children has been terrified by the Prazzi….have we so soon forgotton that Mad was reduced to tears last week and had to be comforted by his Mom?

Finally, rather than debate the bottom feeding, pus encrusted, slime molds that pass themselves off as sentient beings, can we please share ideas and strategies on how or what we can do to turn around this trend of SCREAMING at children to elicit a reaction???

Last night a cigar smoking celeb, doing his best JOKER impression coldly informed the Prazzis that if they flashed the camera in his kid,s face again he would kill them. It was on tape, on ET, Access Hollywood, Extra or Insider. They apparently backed off: mission accomplished. Reaction recorded. Any suggestions people? These tactics border on the inhumane!!

FACE TO FACE

It was another hot July day in the city, of Los Angeles. The Jolie Pitts were spending the summer at their Malibu Estate. The children love hanging out at the beach. Although the house had grown small for the family, they still loved it. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie Pitt were both having busy summers. Brad was producing two movies. Angelina had made three trips to Africa, on behalf of the UNHCR.

The Jolie Pitt men were busy too. Maddox was interning at an Architectual Firm in Chicago. AJ was attending a Basketball Camp, in North Carolina. The girls were enjoying the summer so far, at the beach. Next month, the whole family was going to spend a couple of weeks in the South of France. This was a request from Zahara. Since she would be leaving for STANFORD at the end of August, Brad and Angelina asked if she wanted to do any traveling, before she headed off to college. She wanted to go to St. Tropez. They owned a chateau there, and they all had loved it there.

This day, Zahara, Shiloh and Bella decided to do a little shopping. They were walking down Robertson’s laughing and joking. Shiloh and Bella were going to miss Zahara like crazy, when she would leave for college. Although there were times when they all didn’t agree with one another, they were extremely close. Right now they couldn’t agree on what store to go to next. Zahara wanted to go to LISA KLINE’S, Shiloh and Bella wanted to go to KITSON’S. Two against one, KITSON’S it was.

Bella was looking at a couple pair of jeans. Zahara was trying on clothes in one of the dressing rooms. Shiloh was sitting in a nice over stuff easy chair, trying on shoes. The store was getting crowded. KITSON’S was the one place that the Jolie Pitt girls could shop, and no one would bother them.

Shiloh gathered up the shoe boxes she was going to buy. She stood up and looked around the store. She was looking for her younger sister. Her blue eyes darted around the store. She finally found Bella. She had a few pair of jeans in her hand. She was looking at some jewelry. Shiloh walked over to Zahara’s dressing room. She knocked on the door. “Zee, It’s me. How’s it going in there?” Shiloh asked.

Zahara walked out of the dressing room. “What do you think of these?” Zahara asked refering to the jeans she had tried on.

Shiloh looked up and down at her sister. She had to admit it, Zee was a looker.”They look great. What size are they? Maybe I can borrow them sometimes.”

Zahara laughed. “I don’t think so. These are coming to Palo Alto with me.”

“****! Who’s clothes am I going to borrow when you leave?”

“I don’t know.” Zahara said smiling. “There’s another pair that I want to try on, do you mind?”

“No. I thought you didn’t want to come in here.” Shiloh teased.

“I know, I know.” Zahara said as she closed the dressing room door.

“Take your time. Bella is looking at jewelry. We’ll be here all day.”

Shiloh sat back down in her chair. From this spot, she had a pretty good view of the whole store. She watched the comings and goings. She love to people watch. Shiloh looked around the store again, and suddenly someone caught her attention.

A woman in her fifties. She looked very familar to Shiloh. She was looking at some sunglasses. She couldn’t put her finger on it, but she was sure she had seen this woman before. Shiloh squinted her eyes,and moved her head a little bit. She followed the woman’s movements. Suddenly, BINGO! Shiloh knew exactly who this woman was. “No Way!’ Shiloh said out loud.

“No way what?” Bella asked.

Shiloh had been concentrating on this woman’s identity, that she hadn’t even noticed that Bella had made her way to the dressing room area. Shiloh turned around and looked at her sister. She pulled Bella down, in the same chair she was sitting in.

“Bella. Look over there at the lady with the brown hair, wearing a white t-shirt, jeans and flip flops.” Shiloh told her.

Bella glanced around the store.” I don’t see anyone like that.”

“Keep looking. She’s still over there.” Shiloh instructed her.

Bella did what her sister told her to do. Then suddenly, BINGO! “No Way! Is that who I think that is?”

“Yep! It’s Daddy’s first wife. HOLY ****!” Shiloh said.

“She doesn’t look at all like she did on that old TV show, FRIENDS.” Bella commented.

FRIENDS would show up sometimes on the TVLAND cable channel with a crop of other TV shows, from the distant past.

“Look how many years ago that was? Of course she doesn’t look like that.” Shiloh said to her sister.

“She doesn’t look like Daddy’s type at all. She is so different from Mom. Why does her skin look like that?” Bella asked.

“Like what?” Shiloh answered.

“Like leathery, not smooth like Mom’s, Zee’s, or your’s for that matter?”

“Smoking and baking in the sun, will do that to you.” Shiloh said.

“How do you know she’s a smoker?”

“Hello! It’s so obvious. She probably put one out, before she came into the store.” Shiloh got up and knocked on Zahara’s dressing room door. “Zee?” Shiloh whispered.

“What?” Zahara answered back.

“Are you decent?’ Shiloh asked.

“Yes, why?”

“Come out here for a second. You won’t believe who is shopping, in this store right now.” Shiloh told her.

Zahara opened the door and came out of the dressing room. She had some clothes on hangers, in her hands. A salesgirl immediatley came over to assist her.”I think I’m going to take these.” Zahara explained.

“Okay. Let me help you with these. I’ll just put them up front. When your ready, just let me know.” She said smiling at the beautiful girl as she took Zahara’s clothes, that she was planning to buy.

Zahara smiled back.”Thank You.” She looked back at Shiloh. “Who?”

Jennifer Aniston had joined Courtney Cox Aqruette. They were looking at t-shirts. Shiloh continued on.”Look at the woman over there, that has brown hair she’s wearing a white t-shirt,jeans and flip flops.”

Zahara looked around the store. Her eyes found Shiloh’s description of the woman. BINGO! “No Way!”

“Yes way.” Shiloh said. All three of them squeezed into that one over stuff easy chair. It was a good thing they were all thin. Brad and Angelina’s daughters, could not believe who they were looking at.

Shiloh sat up a little bit, to get a better look.”Yeah, I think so.”

“What happened to her? She wasn’t at school hardly at all this past semester. I don’t remember seeing her at Graduation.”

“Rumor has it, she’s in a clinic with a eating disorder. I heard she was a puker.”

Zahara shook her head. Sometimes her sister’s bluntness blew her away. “That’s sad. I hope she is getting better. Maybe her mom is buying her some new clothes.”

“Maybe.” Shiloh was texting another message.

“Who are you texting now?”

“Aunt Holly. She’s known Mom and Dad before we were even born. I bet she would know when Dad was married to her.”

Courtney caught up with her friend. It was time for them to leave. “Hey Jen, I have more than enough here for Coco, why don’t we make our way out of here.”

Jennifer noticed the unusual tone in her friends voice. “What’s going on?”

“Nothing.” Courtney lied.

Jennifer Aniston has known Courtney, for over twenty years. She knew something was not right.”Come on, Court. Spill it. I know something is bothering you.”

Courtney looked at her dear friend.”Brad and Angelina’s daughters are here. All of them.”

The drive home late that afternoon was quiet. Each sister was wrapped into their own individual thoughts. Zahara was trying to remember when it was just her, Mom, Dad, and Maddox. She was trying to piece those hazy images together. Bella was still trying to imagine her Father married to someone else. Who was not, her Mother. Shiloh on the other hand was very curious. She wanted information. She wanted to know more about Jennifer Aniston.

Zahara broke the silence. “I don’t think we should mention anything to Mom and Dad, that we saw Jennifer today.” She was concentrating on the rush hour traffic.

“I agree.” Bella said.

Zahara didn’t hear anything from Shiloh. “Shiloh?”

Shiloh looked at her sister through her sunglasses. “Yeah, I agree with you guys on this one. I don’t think we should say anything.”

“Good.” Zahara said with relief in her voice.

“For now. I do think we should try to get as much information as we can. I have questions. You guys have questions. Were all curious in one way or another.”

Bella nodded her head. Shiloh was right. She was a little curious.

“I’m going to try to find some answers. Are you guys going to help me?”

“How?” Bella asked

“I told you, Old School internet. We’ll do some research.”

“I’m not good at research.” Bella told her. Although she was curious, she also thought that maybe, they should leave well enough alone.

“Well, you can help in other ways.” Shiloh explained.

“What other ways?” Bella asked.

“I’ll let you know. Don’t worry.” Shiloh reassured her. “What about you, Zee?”

Zahara continued to concentrate on the road. When Shiloh set her mind to do something, she was like a bulldog. She just hoped that they were all doing the right thing. “Yeah, I’ll help. We better not get in any trouble.”

“Don’t worry.” Shiloh said smiling. Okay. Good. Let’s get the skinny on this BIYOTCH.”

The Jolie Pitt’s, enjoyed a nice dinner at KOI’S. Back home, Brad and Angelina were sitting on one of the decks. Brad loved the seclusion of their Malibu Estate. The actual house had gotten too small for the family, but they all enjoyed the coziness of it. Brad was drinking a Corona, Angelina was going over a script.

“Girls were quiet at dinner.” Brad said.

Angelina put her script down. “You noticed that too?”

“Yeah. Should we say something?”

“Let’s wait a couple of days. I think they are realizing, that they won’t all be together soon. With Zee leaving next month.”

“Yeah. That could be it. I’m having my own issues about that.” Brad told her.

Brad reached out for Angelina’s hand. “She will always be my little girl.”

In the bedroom that Zahara and Shiloh shared, the girls were huddled over Shiloh’s razor thin laptop. The girls were quite aware of how famous their parents were. Both parents were Oscar winners. Their Mother had a great acting career. Their Father was one of the most successful producers in Hollywood. On top of all of that, they were both great humanitarians, who had given away millions of dollars over the years. Millions of dollars to the causes, that were so dear to their hearts. Oh, and their Mother just happened to be one of the most beautiful women in the world. Their Dad, one of the sexist. They had grown up with the endless paparazzi, the tiredless media frenzy, autograph seekers, their world wide fans. They had seen everything……

“Okay. I think I’m going to start at IMDB.COM. That will be a good place to start.” Shiloh decided. She typed in Brad’s name. His profile came right up. She scanned over the information she already knew. “Okay. I found something. It looks like Jennifer and Dad met on a blind date, set up through their agents. How desparate was she?” Shiloh asked.

“Blind date? They did that back then?” Zahara asked.

“I know, huh.” Bella added.

Shiloh continued to read. “You guys, they were married, July 29, 2000. Became known as the ‘GOLDEN COUPLE’, huh. Separated, January 7, 2005. So they were married, what four and a half years?”

“Sounds like it.” Bella said.

“Does it say why they broke up?” Zahara asked.

“No.” Shiloh answered. “Let’s see.” Shiloh kept scrolling. “They were divorced, October 2, 2005.”

“Are you sure?” Zahara asked, with doubt in her voice.

“Yeah. Why?” Shiloh asked

“Shi, I was born, January 8, 2005. Mom and Daddy adopted me from Africa, July 2005. He wasn’t divorced until October of that year? He couldn’t of been married to Mom, when he adopted me. What about Maddox? We know that Mom Maddox on her own. When did he adopt him?” Zahara asked.

No one knew what to say. Shiloh clicked on a couple of more pages, but the subject matter was the same: Their Parents and how they met. Zahara walked over to her bed, and sat down. Bella followed her and did the same thing. She sat beside her big sister. Shiloh turned around and looked at both of them. They both had tears in their eyes.

“Why were they saying those things?” Bella asked tearfully. She began to cry. Zahara hugged her. Shiloh came over and sat with her sisters. She beagn to rub Bella’s back, as she tried to comfort her.

“I don’t know Bella. But were going to find out.” Shiloh said softly.

Zahara looked at Shiloh.”Don’t you think that, we have found out enough?” She asked with raw emotion in her voice.”Don’t you?” She asked Shiloh again.

Shiloh looked at Zahara. She could see the pain in her face.”I just mea-.”

Zahara cut her off.”We know what you just meant.We shouldn’t have been looking at this stuff. It’s private.”

“Private? Are you kidding me? It’s on the freaking internet! Public information.”

“Well it’s private to ME!” Zahara told her. She was getting angry.

“Me too.” Bella said. She got up.”I’m going to bed. I don’t want to do any more research.” She was getting angry too.

Shiloh was getting pissed. “You guys act like this is all my fault.”

“You and your research. You just had to know, didn’t you?” Bella asked. “I’m out of here. Night, Zee.” She gave her sister another hug.

“Night, Bella. It will be okay.” Zahara told her.

“Night, Shiloh.” Bella said leaving the room. She didn’t hug her other sister.

Shiloh looked at Zahara. “I didn’t mean for her to get upset, you either. I didn’t know what we were going to find. I’m shocked too.” Shiloh explained.

“How did you think she was going to react? She’s a kid for christ sakes!” Zahara shook her head.”I’m going to brush my teeth.”

Shiloh watched her sister as she left the room. The last thing she ever wanted to do, was to hurt her sisters. The information was a bit shocking. What really happened between her parents and Jennifer? Shiloh knew that there was a lot of questions, that still needed to answered. And she was going to find them.

Shiloh waited for her Mom to go back into the house, before she slipped the MAMS DVD into her computer. She was on a mission. Shiloh felt she needed to know as much as she could, about her parents past. Although she had seen this movie a hundred times, Shiloh felt like she was watching it for the first time. She could see the chemistry and the passion her Mom and Dad had. Their love just oozed out of the computer screen. So this is how the rumors started, Shiloh thought as she finished the movie.

She had to tell Zahara and Bella, they needed to watch the movie again. Shiloh manuvered herself back to the PEOPLE website. This is where she found information about herself. It was very surreal, she thought. How her Mother’s pregnancy with her, was announced. How her Mother’s pregnancy was chronicled. The fact she was giving her Father children, through pregnancy and adoption, where his first wife couldn’t or wouldn’t. How the world was intrigued about Shiloh, before and after she was born. She looked at her first baby photos. She recognized all of them. Shiloh was like a sponge. She tried to soak up, as much information she could.

After another meal where their parents tried to pump information out of them, to no avail, Shiloh called a meeting with Zahara and Bella. Brad and Angelina were in the family room. The girls were once again in the bedroom, that Shiloh and Zahara shared.

“I know you guys think I shoudn’t be prying into Mom and Dad’s past.” Shiloh told them.

“No, you shouldn’t” Zahara told her.

“And I agree with Zee.” Bella said.

“Well, I’m sorry. I think we have a right to know. Their past is affecting our present. I watched the first MAMS today. You guys have to watch it again. Gives the movie a whole new meaning.”

“Really?” Zahara asked.

“Yes. Their chemistry was amazing. You can see them, falling in love with one another.” Shiloh told them excitedly.

“Of course not!” Zahara told her.

“Zee, Bella, it sounds like they met and fell in love while they were filming this movie. Dad and Jennifer separated. It appears they were having a lot of problems, way before Mom came into the picture. It looks like Dad wanted a family, she didn’t.

Zee, when Mom adopted you, Dad was with her. He,Mom and Maddox all came to Africa to get you.” Shiloh said.

Zahara began to smile a little.”Really? He was with her?”

“Yes. They weren’t married yet. But they were obviously together.” Shiloh told her.

Zahara began to feel a little better. It was actually the first time she had smiled, in days.

Shiloh continued on. “It seems like once Dad wasn’t with Jennifer anymore, he went after Mom. Zee, you, Dad, Mom, and Maddox, all became an instant fanily. By the end of the year, Dad started the process to adopt both you and Maddox.”

“”Really?” Zahara asked again.

Shiloh shook her head, smiling. She was really glad that she found this information, especially for Zee’s sake. “It seems like there were a ton of rumors, that Dad cheated on Jennifer with Mom. But, that’s all they were, rumors. Nasty rumors.”

“Really?” Bella asked in a small voice.

“Really. It was such a hot debate, topic for a couple of years, if you can believe that. Fans of Jennifer’s called Mom and Dad all kinds of names. Pretty sad. I guess when the GOLDEN COUPLE broke up, her fans went psycho. When Mom and Dad got together, they just *******, freaked out.”

“Why?” Bella asked.

“I found this interview Jennifer did with VANITY FAIR, right after her and Dad broke up. But I haven’t read it yet.” Shiloh told them.

Shiloh wasn’t paying any attention. She was reading things about her Mother, that she had no idea.

In less than an hour, they had found out that their Mom was twice divorced, before she met and married their Father.

Zahara and Bella looked at the picture. They did think Jonny was cute.

“Let’s see.” Shiloh could not believe the stuff they were finding out. They knew about her tattoos. That was no biggie. They knew about the knives collection..AJ found it fascinating. It was the other stuff, that blew them away. Shiloh scrolled down the screen, scanning. “Hey. I found something. Mom’s first interview with INSIDE THE ACTOR’S STUDIO. It was back in 2005. Maybe this will give us some more answers.”

For the next forty five minutes, they learned even more . Information, they were not ready to hear.

Brad was in the kitchen fixing breakfast. The bacon was sizzling on the stove. He began breaking eggs in a bowl,getting them ready, so he could scamble them. He had already cut a variey of fresh fruits. Angelina joined him in the kictchen. “Something smells good, Mr Pitt.” She said smiling. She walked over toward Brad, and gave him a kiss, on his soft lips.

“I know. It’s you.” Brad said smiling.

“I think it’s the bacon.” Angelina told him smiling. She was getting the orange juice, out of the refrigerator.

“Girls aren’t up yet?” Brad asked.

“No. Not yet. I’m not suprised. I heard them up past midnight. Sounds like they were arguing about something. Baby, I’m really getting worried. Something is going on between them.”

“I know.” Brad began to effortlessly scramble the eggs.”I asked each one of them, if there was anything going on, and they tell me nothing’s wrong. I know they’re lying. I can see it in their eyes.”

Angelina began to pour the juice into some glasses. “I hear it in their voices. I don’t like prying, but I’m so close to confronting all of them.”

Zahara was making up her bed. She had so many thoughts running through her head. She didn’t get that much sleep, last night. She looked over at Shiloh, she was still lying in bed, her face, facing the wall. When Shiloh broke down in tears last night, it absolutely broke Zahara’s heart.
She was thinking about their Mom. The interview was very revealing. It shocked her. But, Zahara was thinking about the other parts of the interview. The way her face lit up, when she talked about Maddox, her passion for flying and all the amazing work she has done over the years, with the UNHCR.

“You awake?” Zahara asked Shiloh.

Shiloh rolled over and looked at her big sister and rubbed her eyes.”Yes, I’m awake.”

There was a knock on the door. “Who is it?” Zahara asked.

“It’s me. Bella answered. She opened the door and walked into the room. She sat on Shiloh’s bed. She still had on her pajamas. “Morning.”

“Morning. Did you get much sleep last night?” Zahara asked her. She had finished making up her bed.

“A little. I just kept on thinking about Mom and Dad.” Bella told her.

“Join the club.” Shiloh said as she got out of bed.

“I don’t know. It’s just so weird. Learning all of this stuff about her.Her previous marriages and all that other stuff. I just don’t know.” Bella said with confusion in her voice.

“Weird? That’s the understatement of the year.” Shiloh said to Bella. “From having a live in boyfriend at fourteen, cutting herself, because sex wasn’t exciting enough for her, probably tried every drug that was out there, and don’t forget, she fucked another woman.” Shiloh said with bitterness in her voice, traced with a little sarcasm.

“Shiloh, STOP!” Zahara said. “Yes, she did those things. Yes, they are shocking. Yes, they are horrible-”

Shiloh cut Zahara off. “Oh, I forgot there were rumors, that she was ******* Uncle Jaime! ****! You can’t even make up **** like this!

Bella looked at her older sisters.”Guys, don’t fight.”

Zahara continued on.”Like I was saying. Yes it is shocking,some of the stuff she did was horrible. But don’t forget about the other stuff she talked about. When she started to travel around the world, and saw all the different kinds of horrible things she saw, it sounded like it was a wake up call for her. When she adopted Maddox, she said that’s when her life really changed. She had somebody else to think about. She couldn’t be selfish and hurt herself any more. Shiloh, a lot of the things she did, she was young. I’m really trying hard not to judge her. That’s in her past. All I know, if it wasn’t for Mom, I would be dead right now.” Zahara told her.

Shiloh looked at Zahara, then at Bella. “Why didn’t she tell us any of this?”

Another knock on the door, stopped the conversation.

“It’s me, Dad. Can I come in?”

Zahara looked at her sisters.” Sure, Dad.”

Brad enetered the bedroom.”Come on you guys. Shake a leg. Breakfast is on the table.” Once again, he felt like he was interrupting something. “You guys okay?”

Shiloh looked at both Bella and Zahara, then at her father. “Sure. Everything is just fine.” Shiloh told him. “Excuse me. I need to get dressed.” Shiloh left the bedroom.

“Zee?” Brad asked.

“I’m fine Daddy.”

“I’m going to get dressed too.” Bella told Brad.

Zahara looked at her Father. She knew what she had to do next.

Both Shiloh and Bella looked at Zahara, and then at their parents as they both sat down in a over stuffed couch, that faced Angelina and Zahara. Brad was looking at the women in his life. They were so precious to him. Shiloh looked at Zahara. She knew that she wouldn’t been able to keep this to herself, for much longer. Zahara gave Shiloh a ‘Don’t be Mad at me’ look. Bella looked at everyone. All she wanted was to be in her Mom’s arms again. Bella got up and walked over to where Angelina and Zahara were sitting. Zahara was on Angelina’s right, Bella proceeded to sit on her left.

Bella began hugging her Mom and she began to cry.” Oh, honey. It’s okay. I’m right here.” Angelina told her.

Angelina looked at all of her daughters and then at Brad.

Brad pulled up an ottoman so he could have a clear view of Zahara, Bella and Shiloh, who was still sitting by herself. Brad began.”I’m so sorry you guys have been hurting over all of this. I know it must have been a big shock, to see Jennifer.”

Brad was trying to remember the last time he had seen Jennifer. It had been about twelve years ago. It was on a back lot at the WARNER BROTHERS studios. They had been both cordial. It was brief. She gave him her condolences about Tobias. That was it.

“It must have been a bigger shock, seeing pictures of us together,when were married.” Brad told them.

“Yeah it was so different seeing you with someone, that wasn’t Mom.” Bella said in a small voice. She was leaning her head on Angelina’s right shoulder. She looked up at her and smiled. It felt so good to be in her Mother’s arms. Some of the stuff she had done when she was a young girl, she didn’t understand. Why would she want to hurt herself?

“All those things we saw, stories about you and Mom, how you guys met? It was awful.” Zahara told Brad.

Shiloh looked at Brad and Angelina. “So exactly how did you guys meet? How did those rumors start?”
