First Angie wears all white, now Brad wears all white. The man cannot think for himself and never has!

is this necessary @ 06/27/2007 at 9:32 am

JJ why do you do this?

These are cute children for sure…. but after mutli postings a day of the same activities?

Every other family on the block are doing the same things as the Jolie-Pitts every day. I don’t think your saying that this family is better than our readers or anyone elses family. Your point to all the “normal just like everyone else” pictures has been made.

A single post here or there, but this is obnoxious (every day kids going to school or playing) and reminds me of the pre-teen fan rags teen beat or tiger beat. We’re all adults on here and it’s getting weird.

p.s. I’m a fan (not a lunatic fan that waits all day for a new post or picture, but a fan) of the Jolie-Pitts and what they’re doing for the world project. But they do deserve some form of private everyday life. sheeeeesh.

I wonder when will Angie finish shooting Wanted.
———————————————-

I think she’s done in July then she and Brad said they are going away until Brad has to shoot Burn After Reading. BAF is only a supporting role so it will be quick…then they go back to LA for The Changeling in October which because it’s Eastwood will probably shoot max 45 days….then he has State of Play at the very end of Nov/Jan..then they take a year off.

In between TAOJJ comes out which means new Brad Pitt interviews

=====================================

Burn After Reading begins shooting in August, right?

What is Pax yelling to the paps? Is it “Stop It”?.

One can just sense the close bond between Z and Brad. She loves her daddy and he loves her!

Alexanderina @ 06/27/2007 at 9:38 am

Thanks Jared for the new pictures

What is Pax yelling to the paps? Is it “Stop It”?.
********************************
Nope he’s says “camera, camera, camera”

Even if Pax wants no more pics it won’t stop if Jared and other bloggers keep buying the pics.

Ok we all know that Brad and Angie take their kids to school.

PS. I bet B&A told the kids to play “I spy a PapRATzi” the way they point them out they way they do. Poor things

I hate to say it but I’ll give Janice Min and us weekly a pass this week. I can’t believe People put her on their cover, very sad.

A Mighty Heart TANKS @ 06/27/2007 at 9:44 am

YET ANOTHER HORRIBLE REVIEW!!!!

AMH TANKED!!!!

A Mighty Heart” is Noble, But Unsuccesful

By Cassie McGrath

Published Wednesday, June 27, 2007

The latest depressing pseudo-documentary about current affairs, the Angelina Jolie vehicle, “A Mighty Heart,” opens with shots of a sprawling, overwhelming cityscape. The viewer is dropped squarely in the center of Karachi, Pakistan, the second most-populated city in the world, with an impossible question: “How do you find one man amongst all this?”
Anyone familiar with the gruesome story of Daniel Pearl, the Wall Street Journal reporter who was kidnapped and brutally slain on videotape in Karachi in 2002, knows the unfortunate answer. But “A Mighty Heart,” adapted from Mariane Pearl’s autobiography of the same name, attempts to explain the frantic, month-long search for Pearl from a different point of view. Mariane Pearl, an Afro-Cuban Dutch Jew raised in Paris, was five months pregnant when her husband was kidnapped. She remains a journalist and world traveler, unfazed by terrorist intimidation.

The film tells the story from her powerful female perspective. This kind of performance requires a magnetic, compelling actress. Enter Angelina Jolie, in full pregnancy regalia, with darkened skin, brown contact lenses, a curly brown wig and a labored French accent. Both Jolie and Pearl have experienced grief, motherhood and paparazzi hounds, so the casting choice isn’t as odd as it may seem. However, Jolie presents a few problems.

The first is that the most skilled makeup artist cannot conceal Jolie’s luscious, exaggerated lips, which are incredibly distracting. However, there remains a much bigger problem: Although Jolie has been given the perfect canvas for the performance of her career, she fails to be truly compelling.

The character of Mariane Pearl requires both near-perfect casting and a virtuoso performance. Jolie is a terrific actress, and the viewer wants her to excel at this performance as much as the film needs her to. Demonstrating her trademark crackling energy, Jolie huffs around the house, snaps at the supporting cast, represses her grief over the loss of her husband and finally erupts in an excruciating, climactic howl. It is a noble effort. However, Jolie’s seething performance as Lisa in “Girl, Interrupted” is much more magnetic and believable. Seven years later, no amount of makeup can eclipse Jolie’s own personality, and in every scene, she cannot escape the celebrity she has herself become. Even if she could, she would still not be compelling enough.

That’s a shame, because director Michael Winterbottom excels at capturing the frantic, pulsating rhythm of Karachi. The stunning cinematography, accompanied by the loose, improvised script, makes the crisis feel all the more immediate. The supporting cast is also outstanding in every respect. Especially noteworthy is Irfan Khan’s performance as the captain of the Diplomatic Security Service, who, in one remarkable scene, tenderly interrogates a handcuffed, dangling suspect with fatherly empathy.

Despite its many strengths, “A Mighty Heart” needs a compelling main character to differentiate it from the recent slew of political thrillers, which lately seem to have the cinematic shelf life of skim milk. This film’s central character, Mariane Pearl, is also its greatest weakness. Because of that, “A Mighty Heart” is ultimately forgettable.

————————————————

There’s still a huge market for it otherwise the paps wouldn’t still be there everyday doing this if these pictures weren’t being sold.

Brad and Angelina could sit on chairs in a white room not moving and the public and tabloids would still want to look at them.

Your observations are dead on! It’s perfectly obvious who is happy and who is not, and that not only goes for the Jolie-Pitts, but for the groups of fans as well. Anyone who is that consumed with negativity and must nitpick every molecule of the J-P’s lives must indeed be one litter of sick puppies.

I this sounds about right to me, too. But let us not forget, alot of projects will be coming to fruition for them over that year off as well. I am taking their “year off” to mean a year off from starting anything new as far as filming goes. They will still have to promote and give appearances for finished projects, and of course Angie will still do her UN trips, so all in all, us fans will still see them, they (or maybe just Angie, since we really haven’t had it confirmed if Brad is actually doing it too) just won’t be making any new movies. Brad, of course will continue his producing duties with his projects behind the camera, so we’ll hear about that.

Of course, you know the naysayers and tabloids will cry foul and say Angie lied, that she’s not taking her off as she said she would…etc. So get ready to explain it over and over to the peanut gallery, haha!!

Paris Hilton: PEOPLE’s Exclusive Interview
_________________________________________
LOL. Paris end up landing the best cover of them all: People magazine. I hope this issue of People outsells US . I don’t like Paris Hilton, but at least she is an aldult. This new trend of US to put babys on their cover is really lame. And the sad thing is all the others rags will follow the lead of US weekly.

I wish he “divorced” that silly hat. Visually, it definitely puts him on the wrong side of forties. Without it, he will return to the other side. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

People magazine has Paris Hilton in their cover with an exclive interview, lame.

Francophile @ 06/27/2007 at 9:49 am

Is Pax saying : go away ?

LOL. I love those kids ! full of personality and free spirit !

They are definitely grounded, intuitive, inquisite and mature…like really mini adults who are in total control and speak their mind

Re.-people @ 06/27/2007 at 9:51 am

I hope US Weekly kicks people ass on sales this week, I can’t get why they are still giving this amazing, positive coverage to paris. **** you people.

Passing Through @ 06/27/2007 at 9:53 am

Oh shoot…I see the tan Fedora has made a comeback. I was hoping Angie had lost it for him…

the look brad wears when at home is more or less an european stlyle look with his hat and all, it is a look of relaxation, i think its very classy and original for his age an stature
by the way that funny person who critized the children , if you dont like kids just keep your mouth shot , its ok not to want them or
enjoy them just stay away

Yes, as I understand it, Angie meant a year off from movie-making. They have to promote and do appearances, that’s part of their jobs.

But I agree that the haters won’t understand the difference.

I like the hat. lol
