I slightly agree with this. When Angie was a single mother, she was respected by everyone because she was a single mother juggling her humanitarian work/acting as well as mother role.

She wasn’t respected by *everyone*, in fact hardly anyone payed attention to her.

1) All her movies flopped post 2001 until MAMS.

2) She wasn’t on the cover of any celebrity magazines unless she did an interview/photoshoot. Now she’s on the covers everyweek.

3) She wasn’t photographed by paparazzi much pre 2005. Now she’s photographed everyday.

4) Her humanitarian work was IGNORED by the mass public/media. It gets much more attention now. Do you think CNN would be giving her an hour to shill about refugees if she wasn’t with Brad? Puhlease…

Post BBT to Brad, she was practically a NOBODY.

I live in Missouri, too, and I can guarantee you that if I poll 100 people on the street in my town they’re not going to know how Jane Pitt feels about X. In face, almost to a person, I can’t guarantee that all 100 will say, “Jane who?”

I doubt you even live in Missouri, so don’t kid yourself that we’re all sitting around memorizing what Jane Pitt says abut her EX-daughter-in-law, let alone that we all know who she is.

Angelina was not living in the US for your information. She She came back to the US to be with Brad. She wasn’t a nobody. If the media didn’t follow her when she was doing her UNHCR work that’s their problem. Eveyone knew who she was. all her colleagues knew who she was and all her fellow humanitarians knew who she was. You should be saying that it was the nobodies that were not following her. Becasue everyone who counted knows who Angelina was and she was and is resepcted in the industry.
She was photgraphed at many red carpet events pre-2005 post BBT. She even was a presenter at the Academy Awards in 2004. That’s a nobody? You’re the nobody. Being in tabloids does not define you my dear. Real life does.

You know, fans really relate to who they idolize and fans are a good reflection of what their idol is really like. (Just look at the fans of Britney or Paris or even Lindsay, you can tell all they really want is to party). Brad and Angelina fans are very observant and are pretty mature judging from their comments. It is only when we tangle with trolls that we become like juveniles sometimes(not in a bad way, more like in a fun way just like playing whack-a-mole).

So she went 3 years between blockbusters (TombRaider and MAMS)…all of Brad’s flopped other than the Ocean’s films, so what. All of Russell Crowe’s films flopped after Gladiator - he hasn’t had a hit yet (his last movie The Good Year made onl 7 mil domestically - A Mighty eart will make that by the end of this week on a third of the budget). Paltrow has NEVER had a hit. All of Kate Winslet’s films were flops after Titanic - and hasn’t had one yet…Leo Dicaprio didn’t have a hit until The Departed that’s a 10 year spread almost….what’s your point?? Going by the folks I just named — Angie has a better record than mostly all of them.

Angie started appearing on the rags in 1998 - 2000, she wasn’t a ’staple’ but back then no one was really - there were no Paris’, no Nicole’s, no Lindsey’s….the tabloid lies were more evenly distributed among people who were famous for a reason.

So…do you think Brad went to LA with Jane and Angie stayed on the plane and flew back to NYC? Idiots.
