Ya know something else I’d like to add… if Europens are so open to the naked body, then why aren’t the men running around bottomless on the public beach? I’m still waiting on the day Jared post pics of Gerard Butler in his birthday suit!

Some are ! It’s a personal choice to go naked or not.
#99- Who is CC?
#102- Might I ask where, so I can plan my next vaction?! ;) :)
#92 — get your facts straight! the little boy she killed did NOT “dart out” into the street! cars in front of her were stopped for this boy to CROSS the street! she was on her cell phone and went around the people who were letting the boy cross the street! she may feel guilty, but the boy is dead!

Some are, believe me…especially in Germany and Holland where there is a culture of nude beaches.
There are nude beaches and the others where you go topless…meaning women do it as men already go topless.
It’s a personal choice to go half naked or not and therefore most of the time it’s women who are more prone to get an overly tan than men…they are more prone to look after their beauty, including an uneven tan..cause basically it is the number one reason they go toples and why they use a bikini tong…

They are going to hell in a hand basket, and I’m right behind them!!!
Thank God she wasn’t banging him on the deck, actually that would have made for some interesting conversation.
It’s amusing that so many are denouncing — with indignation and conformity — the American view on nudity for being too restrictive and thoughtless. Those against the American view seem a bit too angry, and are all spouting the same platitudes.
What do I think about your questions you mean jared! Gsus… Where I come from it’s perfectly ok to sunbath topless and NOT ok to have any weapons in your possesion!

Well we have the right to bear arms and you have the right to bare TNA.
You know, I’m an American and I don’t own a gun… which makes me ask how many Americans in this blog carry concealed weapons? Sorry guys, *****’ don’t count.

First: Do not tell me what to do, and do not tell me that I didn’t read it right. I’m a big girl, and I can read things without your help. Thanks.
Second: He was absolutely insulting all Muslims and Islam when he said that. You don’t find calling people “Islamo-nut jobs” insulting?? And all Muslim women, exteremists or not, should be covered, with the exception of face and hands. So he was baisically calling us all crazy. I know you definetly wouldn’t like it if I called you a “Phsycotic Chrisitan” or a “Jewish wack job” or whatever you are. So, yeah. Maybe you should look to your American “morals” and realize that bashing other people’s religions is wrong. I would think that you of all people knew this, since America is so tolerant of other religions and all.
Oops, still children or not she looks great!
Let her and everyone express themselves without harming anyone. They all look very very relaxed.
She is ugly to me and since she killed someone in her car, I got no respect for her.She should take her pancakes and go away.
Eric Dane can do much better then this
(Wikipedia.com)
Vehicular manslaughter
On 13 June 2001, Gayheart struck and killed nine-year-old Jorge Cruz Jr. as he crossed a Los Angeles-area street. According to the police report, the child was walking home from school and crossed the street. While several cars stopped to let him go, Gayheart swerved around them and into a two-way left-turn lane, striking the boy. Her attorney, Steven Lerman, subsequently admitted Gayheart had been using a cell phone during impact.[1]
Cruz died the next day at Los Angeles Children’s Hospital. His parents, Jorge Cruz and Silvia Martinez, filed a wrongful-death lawsuit on August 6 2001 against her. Gayheart eventually paid for Cruz’s hospital and funeral expenses in order to have the lawsuit dropped.[citation needed] On November 27 2001, she pleaded no contest to vehicular manslaughter. She was sentenced to three years probation, a one-year suspension of her license, a $2,800 fine, and 750 hours of community service. She was also ordered to make a public-service announcement.
Gayheart was represented in the criminal proceeding by Harland Braun.
Later that year, she flipped a rental car into two parked cars with her father commenting that, “I’ve told my wife not to let her drive any more.” [2]
Naked breasts = ok
Grabbing nuts in front of children + in public = not ok!

once again, quick to jump the gun but thank you for remaining consistant. as I said, it was painfully obvious he wasn’t applying the term to all muslims, but we all know there are countries out there that force women to cover themselves whether those women choose to or not, and I have studied islam and know that there is no passage in the Qur’an that specifically states a woman should be completely covered with the exception of her face and hands, it merely states the cover of her ‘ornaments’ and ‘bosom’ which leaves the former open to wide interpretation…and to say muslim women ’should’ cover? i was led to believe in my research that it should be a personal choice for a muslim to cover her hair and body or not reflective of her religious devotion and no one has the right over a woman to force those ideas upon her…but perhaps i was misled?
as for the rest of this crap, everyone says “this is accepted in europe, it’s allowed here it’s ok here”, and expect those of us that disagree to accept that as a legitimate argument, but if justifying your argument by saying culturally its OK there is sufficient, why can’t we justify our argument by saying culturally its not OK here? Yes europeans think its OK, we get it, generally speaking, most americans do not find it OK, and these are cultural differences, why does everyone have to talk SH*T about us because we disagree on this? there are several things that go on in various cultures that we probably don’t disagree upon and probably others that we would.
i disagree with it, you don’t, we need to get over it without calling one another insulting names and dissing our countries! and why do we have to make it about countries and continents? americans vs europeans? when its not simply between us, some americans find it OK and some europeans might not? there’s nothing wrong with americans, its just the way we are, get off our backs for god’s sake
Dude, it’s Europe!!! I went topless on the beach there too (and in South Beach, for that matter). Get over it!
you f*cking ignorant americans make me sick. you are so scared of anything different and frown on things alien to the ‘american way.’
Thats probably why you invade other people’s countries because other cultures scare you.
you know it’s perfectly normal in europe to be naked and to even sh*g in public, you may not agree with it but that doesn’t make it disgusting or indecent. you people have your priorities all f*cked up. it’s funny because you have 5 yr old kids shooting each other at school but god forbid janet jackson shows a bit of t*t at the superbowl..all hell breaks loose.
on another note, these pics are clearly put on. they are aware of the paps. gayheart has done this before.
Ahem, you are wrong and Jae is right. Muslim women do not have to be covered except their bosoms etc. I have studied the Quran and it says nowhere that women should be covered from head to toe; she should just be dressed modestly. Stop making this **** up
I don’t see anything wrong with it - my husband and son and I all walk around naked at times, and none of us are scarred because of it. Nudity is a perfectly natural part of life. Besides, I breastfed the kid til he was almost 2, breasts aren’t about to freak him out at all.
#117 Didi-
If it wasn’t for America, you wouldn’t have the internet to get onto and blast your stupidity. I think most Americans were not that offended by the Janet Jackson “wardrobe malfunction”, but the media will play it for what it’s worth. And yes we have trouble with gun control, we are not a perfect nation, no nation is. Not all Americans are happy with our troops having to invade other countries, nor do they agree with the war in general. Hate us all you like. I personally have nothing against any other country regardless.
AGain, why this conversation even showed up on this specific conversation is because some poor individual with lots of idle time and malice in his/her mind took it upon him/herself to make a statement that was so ridiculous that it doesn’t even warrant further conversation.
As for those proclaimed scholars on islamic law and history, there are many things that are not mentioned in the quran about daily life, for example doing wudu, the washing before prayer, the exact details of those are nowhere in the quran, yet every muslim around the world performs this. Among thousands of other things. Including covering. and the best method amongst that.
There will always be dialogue concerning this, which inherently is harmless, most people will argue one way or another depending on their own strength to practice something. That is how we rationalize anything in life, if we want to do it, follow our desires then it becomes acceptable, if not, then lets try and prove that it never was to begin with. There are people that spend their entire lives learning in detail, the language, the history, and the rest of us read something once and decide to decree it yes or no? We accept the value of “experts” in other aspects of life, from scientists, to doctors, to engineers, it is interesting. My point it is, agree with it or not, cover or don’t cover, but don’t invalidate someone based on your own INABILITY to see wisdom or good in someone else’s actions.
At the end of the day, each man is accountable for himself. So lets all stop preaching and passing judgements, voicing profanities and being discourteous. It reminds me of a cheap talk show.
uh, her husband looks like he could care less, and she is obviously prancing around to get his attention .not worrrrkkking.
I think it’s inappropriate, period. I understand how in Europe nudity is much more acceptable and almost expected when sun bathing. But, in North America (I’m in Canada) we are not that accepting and it is not at all common. Therefore, we are not used to it and it is a little shocking frankly. It seems to me like that behavior should be saved for an adult time of the vacation. I am personnaly not offended by nudity or topless tanning, but I do feel it’s inappropriate around children - especially if they are someone elses. Dont’ we see enough T & A on TV? Now that we have Britney, Paris and Lindsay flashing thier ladt bits all over the place, kids are going to think there are no limits. Nope, sorry. This is a battle where we’re all going to agree to disagree.
