Mariska Hargitay’s Son’s Birthday Bash

Mariska Hargitay’s son, August, who just turned one on Thursday, celebrated his birthday with a party in Central Park on Sunday afternoon. (August visited mommy on set the day after his actual birthday.)

The Law & Order: SVU star and her actor hubby Peter Hermann gathered friends on a lawn in Central Park near the 72nd Street entrance to celebrate. There were balloons, clowns, bubble-blowing and lots more! Actress pal Debra Messing and her son 3-year-old Roman were among guests.

Check out mommy Mariska dancing and entertaining her son while daddy Peter held him high in the air with one hand!

I named my baby August, after reading an article about Mariska’s baby. My son even looks like her baby except my son has blond hair. Thanks for the inspiration Mariska!
