Grey’s Anatomy star Katherine Heigl, aka Dr. Isobel “Izzie” Stevens, plays with her newest toy — Apple’s iPhone — on the NYC set of her new romantic comedy 27 Dresses.
Heigl, 28, was spotted on Monday doing a multitude of things in Central Park during her film breaks — knitting, yawning, smoking, fiddling with her iPhone, playing with a dog, sipping a Diet Coke, talking on the phone, and laughing her socks off with co-star Malin Akerman.
27 Dresses tells the story of a young woman (Heigl) who, after serving as a bridesmaid 27 times, wrestles with the idea of standing by her sister’s side as her sibling marries the man she’s secretly in love with. The film co-stars James Marsden and Edward Burns and is set for a January 11, 2008 release.

Does it ever bother anyone else when everybody goes around saying how great parents angelina and brad are, when brad smokes around the kids? Dont they know how many children die from 2nd hand smoke? Seriously? its rediculous…and its disgusting. SHAME on you!!!

Knocked-up was really funny, but anyone could have played her role. She didn’t bring anything unique to the role.
Also, I don’t like her character in Grey’s Anatomy anymore. The show’s creators say that the first three seasons cover a span of only one year. The first year for the interns. If that is the case, Denny wasn’t dead for very long before she moved onto George (a married man, nonetheless). Too bad Denny left her all that $$$$. So, I think her character is very selfish now.
