I just watched AMH yesturday. Here’s my review. The movie was BORING to be honest.. But Angie’s strong performance saved it. I don’t think she’ll win an Oscar, since her powerful emotional scenes come at the end. From seeing Cate Blanchett in The Golden Age trailer, she has a wide range of emotions. I’m predicting Cate will win, while Angie is nominated. If Angie doesn’t win, hopefully she’ll win for The Changeling.

Hey #53 - Being a hard core fan of both Brad and Angelina, I thought that the only good parts of TGS were the ones with AJ in them, and wished that there were more of them, for sure.

AMH is a totally different film than TGS. To me, AMH is certainly more thought provoking and meant alot more to the audience and to the actors/producers who were involved. For her just to be considered for another Oscar says alot about her performance. I think that Cate B. is a very good actress also, but don’t think you can predict Oscar nominations from a trailer. They are, after all, just a trailer. And, if Cate B. did win the Oscar, I would imagine that both B&A would be thrilled for her. They have all developed friendships from working together on Babel and CCofBB.

I have to believe that Angelina means it when she says that awards are just not that important to her. She finds her meaning in life in activiies that are much more rewarding for her than posing on the red carpet and collecting statuettes. Her family is her first priority, not collecting statues.

About Angie not winning an oscar, I can only say you’ve have missed the whole point of the movie and why it was even made to begin with. Angie could’ve been very melodramatic in her portrayal of Marianne but she didn’t coz Marianne wasn’t at all like that. She stayed true to Character. She wanted or tried to portray her friend at such a difficult time, sharing her pain and loss. Whether she wins or doesn’t, it’s irrelevant and should really not be discussed so deeply.

LOL now they walk cool, step in step? What a total joke, have anyone of you actually walked with anyone - yes it actually happens or did Brad and Mad create Rhythm walking too? Geeez grasping at the bottom of the barrel of dumb things to post.
