Fashion Faceoff: Dita Von Teese @ Christian Dior HC
Dita Von Teese slipped into a purple version of the one-shouldered asymmetrical gown from the Christian Dior Fall 2007 collection on Monday at John Galliano’s Haute-Couture Fall-Winter 2008 collection presentation held at ‘l Orangerie’ of the Versailles Castle near Paris, France. The burlesque queen finished off her look with a dangle earrings and a matching Dior clutch.
To the right, Brazlian supermodel Raquel Zimmermann.
Who wore it best — DITA VON TEESE or THE RUNWAY MODEL?

Definitely the model. Colour is better and she is far more elegant than Dita.

dita looks so scary, almost beautiful in that dress. but im not liking the ‘goth mysterious’ look, never did.
i don’t like the colour flesh on the model, i prefer the colour that dita’s wearing, purple.
anyhow, ill go for the model. because she’s just really working it.

Awww..you don’t dig the color of DVT’s version? I thought it was a vast improvement over the salmon-pink-with-little-fleurs version on the model….it’s too bridesmaid-ey on the model, it’s a little sharper on DVT, with the platinum color and the lack of embroidery…Dita wins!

Why is it so hard to believe that pale skin is much more healthier than tanned??????

DITA times ten! I agree with EvilLynn, the model’s dress does look like something a bridesmaid would wear. Dita’s dress is so icy, it bounces off her pale skin and contrasts beautifully with her dark hair and red lips.
