Fashion Faceoff: Eva Green @ Christian Dior HC
Eva Green shocked in a hot pink kimono-style dress at the Christian Dior Fall 2007 couture collection on Monday at John Galliano’s Haute-Couture Fall-Winter 2008 collection presentation held at ‘l Orangerie’ of the Versailles Castle near Paris, France. The Bond girl finished off her look with the same bold pair of pink heels as the runway model, just tied up her legs a little bit higher.
To the right, British supermodel Rachel Alexander.
Who wore it best — EVA GREEN or THE RUNWAY MODEL?

ewwww, what a horrible dress! okay i know, the fashion industry is all about taking risks but talk about RISKSS! in order to take a risk, you have to produce a beautiful, yet interesting style of fashion. eva did not rock it. i can understand why it was in the fashion show but it IS NOT something you wear and walk with.
neither wins. dress is horrible. but seriously, what’s up with eva’s hair? she even copied the runaway model’s shoes! lol.
p.s i love the make= up on the runaway model and sorry if i was too harsh on eva.
I think the model wins because of the matching makeup.
Weird dresses lately, like old draping curtains, twisted around a shoulder or a waist and voila … High Couture! … lol
That’s not a kinomo style. Obviously it’s a cheong sam style.
f __uc____k all the ignorant Westerners.
Kimono? Kimono? All the Japaneses dress makers out there are throwing up right now!!
Western people ripped the f___ k off the traditional cheong sam and called it kinomo. F____________K
that thing is hideous no matter who’s wearing it.
no thank you. eva has always had a crazy sense of style. honestly, the model wins simply because she seems to be wearing the dress as more of a costume-y type thing. eva honestly seems to think this dress could be worn anywhere–not so.
Honestly, I think Eva Green!
She’s beautiful!
They look the same to me.
Model. Because the model knows how to work it despite wearing an ugly dress!
Could someone please get Eva Green a stylist??
Yikes…neither they both look very scary :{
The model, and that dress needs to stay on the runway!
My chinese take-out food wore it best.
What?
This isn’t the box my dinner came in?
My bad.
none of the above
errr, does she think that looks god? pff. bond f*cking girl she aint.
*good
Dior is french, so don’t blame America for this peice of ****.
Eva is a craaazy and always wearing crazy things
for AMY
It’s Haute-Couture and 50% of the clothes are weird so SHUT UP..
THANK YOU
I like how Eva Green is willing to take chances and express herself. She seems a lot more interesting than anyone you would find in Hollywood.
Weird, but I still think it’s ugly. I understand that a lot of high fashion is weird, but that doesn’t stop me from thinking this one is ugly.
And geek, as for the assertion that westerners are messing things up other culture’s by being “ignorant”. It’s art. People can take influences if they’d like. If we stuck to only American influences you’d be calling us closed minded. We can’t ever do anything right, can we? It says nowhere in this article that the line claims it to be a traditional Japanese Kimono. And you’re a complete loose canon for bringing in who will be a world superpower to a fashion thread.
it’s called haute couture for a reason. it’s less fashion, more art. you’re not going to see people wearing these things on the street because 1) everything’s hand made. literally hand sewn including all the embroideries. impressive right? 2) because it’s done with such care it also costs a lot of money. and people only wear these things to other couture shows and some are altered slightly for award shows and special event. don’t hate on things without knowing what they’re really meant to be
This dress is so weird and funny that I actually like it.
None, nobody can pull off that dress.
