OlderFashion Faceoff: Sofia Coppola @ Christian Dior HC

Sofia Coppola found fun in a pink-and-red bubble dress from the Christian Dior Resort 2008 collection on Monday at John Galliano’s Haute-Couture Fall-Winter 2008 collection presentation held at ‘l Orangerie’ of the Versailles Castle near Paris, France. The Marie Antonette movie-maker (don’t mind her blinking above) finished off her look with a pair of pink slingbacks and a red clutch.
To the right, Georgian-born, Canadian-bred supermodel Sofi Berelidze.
Who wore it best — SOFIA COPPOLA or THE RUNWAY MODEL?

sofia coppola tried, you can tell. but the purse and shoes doesn’t match. red and pink? its a nono. also, no offense, that dress is meant for a younger hip generation. sofia is not in that age group, sorry. sofia’s hair and makeup went wrong. makes her looks worn- out and a lot older. she should’ve gone for a more sophisticated, elegant colour.
the model rocked it coz she looks retro. the earrings, hair, sunglasses all goes together.
Of course I have to say Sofia. The model has the kitty cat glasses and the beehive thing down pat–but I love how sweet Sofia looks.

she looks okay but jeez, she makes the model look quite meaty. Eat some crisps sofia, and get your boyfriend to brush his hair before he goes out

what a ridiculous dress! i like the cut but hate the print. anyway, the model takes it. it actually fits her body, it makes sofia look thick in the middle.

Go Sofia GO =) i think she looks really good, i sooooo did not like the whole retro chic thing although those glasses were FAB =) i liked the shoes and the purse but the makeup on sofia seemed harsh maybe because there was not a lot but … i really do not like the models look so the winner is SOFIA C =)
