Check out this new poster for Angelina Jolie’s upcoming animated feature Beowulf, which is getting the deluxe IMAX treatment. Looks a little Tomb Raider-ish, no?
The Robert Zemeckis‘ (Forrest Gump, Polar Express) film will be released simultaneously in IMAX 3D and regular theaters on Nov. 16.
“IMAX 3D has enabled us to tell stories in a whole new way, and we are very excited to offer moviegoers a chance to experience Beowulf in this incredible format,” said Zemeckis. “IMAX lends itself to the incredible image detail in Beowulf and in 3D, it will transport the audience directly into the story.”
Beowulf will also star Ray Winstone as the warrior Beowulf, Anthony Hopkins, Crispin Glover, and John Malkovich. Sounds like there are a lot of baddies in this movie. Love it!

They’re going to have a PG13 on theaters and an NCR17 rating on IMAX. They say it is like a great video game in looks so you know all the geeks are looking forward to it. Here’s what it says about Angie:

U.S. actor George Clooney says he “couldn’t be prouder” to be the friend of globetrotting do-gooders Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Over the past year or so, Pitt and Jolie have traveled ceaselessly, raising awareness and offering humanitarian aid to some of the world’s neediest citizens.

Silverman says she’s not one to get star-struck — even with British singer/songwriter Amy Winehouse performing and such stars as Cameron Diaz, Bruce Willis and John Travolta gathering under the Gibson Amphitheatre at Universal City.
She does concede that last month, while she was working on her Sarah Silverman Program (which returns to Comedy Central this fall), she found herself obsessed with a special visitor to the studio lot.
“Angelina Jolie was shooting a commercial for Japan right next door to us,” Silverman says. “And we all decided to write outside that day. She came over and said hi and said she watches the show. She’s so strikingly beautiful.
