OlderZac Efron @ Hairspray Premiere
Co-stars Zac Efron, Amanda Bynes (in TopShop), Nikki Blonsky, and Elijah Kelley walk the rainbow carpet at the UK premiere of Hairspray at the Odeon Cinema Leicester Square in London on Thursday.

I went to a screening of Hairspray last month and you will not want to miss this. This movie is FUN FUN FUN! Although the singing is not up to par with that of the musical, the acting and the personalties shine through.
Unfortunately, John Travolta is not half as funny as Harvey Fierstein, who plays crossdresser Edna Turnblad in the musical. What makes Edna endearing and hilarious in the musical is Fierstein’s trademark foghorn voice. Travolta raises the pitch of his voice to sound like a real woman and it… just doesn’t cut it. Otherwise, this film will knock your stockings off.
Hairspray opens in the UK and US on Friday, July 20.

I am so amazed with the range of Zach’s talent. I remember him first from “Miracle Run”, where he played a child afflicted with autisium. He was so amazing in this role. He was so on the mark with his manorisims (sp), his facial and body movments, speach patterns. At the time of this movie, I really didn’t know of Zach. I truley thought I was watching an autistic child (of high function) such as the one he portrayed in this film.
Anything else he does after Miracle Run is icing. I cannot imagine anything else being as mentaly challanging as his Miracle Run role.
We will all see bigger and better things from Zach, he is an amazing, talented person.
Zac is not only wearing the ring(s) but he has a red braclet or hair tie/band on. Just take a look at all the pics where he has his left hand up…. probably V’s jewelery! So CUTE!
