ACTUALLY….he isnt a cheater…nor is he trying to get famous from Kelly Clarkson….he is a talented SONGWRITER who has CHOSEN to stay out of the limelight and let others sing his songs…it is KELLY who has not let this thing die…

Why is that not totally obvious??? If he wanted to be famous and be in pictures with her…why is it that there are few pictures of them that exist…and none are being posted???

I love the CD. It’s something anyone who has ever felt betrayed can relate to but I understand what you mean about there being two sides. Not that cheating is okay but…The problem is that sometimes people are quick to point the finger at others rather than analyze why the individual cheated. Maybe your own actions had a big role in pushing the other to the brink of temptation. By blaming and labeling others, it inevitably hinders people from looking deeper into the problem and trying to resolve it before it recurs with another mate. The common belief is, I’m not a bad person. I don’t need to change, I’m not the one who cheated. The result is that the whole process repeats itself without being rectified, which is probably why so many men and women complain about having been cheated on in so many relationships. People do not cheat because they’re pigs, sows, *******, or dogs. It all comes down to two basic drives: the physical sexual drive and the emotional need. Honestly, most men I know would not cheat on a girl unless they were feeling that something was not being met. I mean why risk ruining a perfect relationship with a side thing if nothing is wrong? Also, we don’t really know that he cheated. It’s his words against Kelly and unfortunately for him Kelly has a larger fan base that will believe whatever she says because she said it. The most facts we have is they dated a while, he left her and got back together with his ex whom he married and she was pissed off. Other than that it’s a war of words and choosing whom you were going to believe. I agree that it’s probably a little bit of both. To me it looks like they just wanted different things. Breakups are hard on everyone and there are too sides to a story. So I agree w/that poster. Let’s not make villains and heroes.
I see why he would put the song out though. I mean the Kelly fan club is out there saying his a a-hole and has a lynch mob out for him. Kelly has 3 songs on her second CD and a third CD that might as well be titled with his name because it’s 14 tracks about him. Obviously he wants to have his side told.
And about the publicity thing. I to had no idea they together. I think Kelly is giving herself too much of a compliment. She wasn’t that famous when she was with him/ I knew him from Evanescence. I don’t think he cared that she was famous. They were dating before Breakaway was out. She wasn’t really that famous then. She was the American Idol chick with one overplayed hit single that was a Christina castoff. I didn’t though they had been a couple until I heard the story behind Behind These Hazel Eyes. He probably only had pics of her on his site because he’s in them and it’s his site. He doesn’t have a huge gallery. I mean we might as well freak out that Amy Lee is in most of a picture and he’s not in Evanescence anymore. That’s silly.

David sucks, this song doesn’t even make any since, its just like he trough a bunch of words together. He needs to stop trying to be famous because he never will be. He is just mad thet Kelly is an AMAZING woman, she can sing, she is beautiful, she’s not a diva, she hasn’t let her fame on to her head like other singers, and she so nice to her fans, I know because I have met her. Also any guy who cheats on a woman should get they B**LS cut off, and all you people on here who said that she is ugly and fat stop hating because you wish you were her and had her life.

Also! Since David is a CLOSE friend of mine, I can tell you that David doesn’t give a CRAP about being famous. He cares about music and God, that’s it. He could care less about fame or money. Yes, he does make plenty of money, but that is because God has blessed him with amazing songwriting abilities, no other reason. I’m pretty sure I’ve spent more time with both of these people than any of you, so maybe you should take it from someone who was highly exposed to the relationship.

It’s not really right to claim that he’s just trying to get fame from Kelly, because if he was he would have just stayed with Evanescence. Also, for anyone who says he has no talent; have you even listened to his music? He’s very talented and he writes his own songs and he’s wrote songs for many famous people (Kelly included). If I remember correctly he also won a Grammy before. Besides, everyone makes mistakes. That doesn’t make what he supposedly did right, but for all we know Kelly may have done something to him as well, so at least try to consider it from both sides. Oh by the way, for anyone who says he’s being immature and whiny, you do realize that Kelly threw the first public punch by her song Never Again, right? But really, the most important thing is that we don’t personally know these people or what really happened between them, so who are we to pass judgment on either of them?
