Madonna performed during the UK leg of the international climate change awareness concert Live Earth at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. (She wore custom-studded Mary Janes by Christian Louboutin.)
Before performing “Ray of Light,” the Queen of Pop said, “There’s been a lot of talk about conserving energy tonight, but right now I don’t want to hear any one of you save any of your energy right now! C’mon mother****ers! If I’m playing a guitar, not one of your feet can touch the ground! I wanna see this whole city jumping!”
Madonna followed this by declaring: “We’re starting an avalanche of awareness that we are running out of time. I’d like to thank [Live Earth organizers] Al Gore and Kevin Wall for giving the world the wake-up call it needs. Tonight’s concert, and the concerts going on around the world, are not just about entertainment, they’re about starting a revolution! This is your last chance to show that you care about the planet! Amen!”

Okay, I was a major supporter of Live8 when it was on last summer but Bob Geldolf pissed me the **** off. Hey, I just watched Madonna perform on Live Earth. The photo’s really didn’t do her justice. She looks amazing. She’s still slender and, she does work out a lot. You can tell. She sings quite well. I might just purchase her new album.

Oh get real. This concert was a tribute to Al Gore. He wants to flaunt the power he has over Hollywood and these celebrities.
I think everyone is aware of Global Warming. There isn’t one person who has more at stake then another.Although the rich seem to contribute more as they fly around the world in their private jets.
