Madonna performed during the UK leg of the international climate change awareness concert Live Earth at Wembley Stadium on Saturday. (She wore custom-studded Mary Janes by Christian Louboutin.)
Before performing “Ray of Light,” the Queen of Pop said, “There’s been a lot of talk about conserving energy tonight, but right now I don’t want to hear any one of you save any of your energy right now! C’mon mother****ers! If I’m playing a guitar, not one of your feet can touch the ground! I wanna see this whole city jumping!”
Madonna followed this by declaring: “We’re starting an avalanche of awareness that we are running out of time. I’d like to thank [Live Earth organizers] Al Gore and Kevin Wall for giving the world the wake-up call it needs. Tonight’s concert, and the concerts going on around the world, are not just about entertainment, they’re about starting a revolution! This is your last chance to show that you care about the planet! Amen!”

These beatches are such haters. They think that their Lindsey Lohans’, Paris Hiltons’, Britney Spears’, Kelly Clarksons’ Beyoncess’ are the ****. Please, I wonder where they will be in 25 years. Let’s just see if they have the same staying power that Madonna has. Not to mention the millions of cds sold, the concerts sold out, the iconic status that Madonna has.

exactly. i agree with bob geldof. the entire even is f*cking retarded beyond measure and pointless. whats the point of raising awareness for something that everyone is already aware of because its being shoved down our throat every single f*cking day. everyone is already concsious of global f*cking warming. live aid is a different kettle of fish entirely because there was a goal and demands to stop the famine. thats why it was effective at raising awareness of poverty. live earth is just another concert for the sake of nothing.
Saw her act on Live Earth. Gotta give it to her, for her age, she still can move and in great shape to compete to the likes of Shakira or Rehanna. And I actually will even say can sing better. My 2 cents.
Madonna needs to sit down, and raise those children.

Madonna’s Ray of Light was very good. All those girls out right now are trying to be Madonna but sorry, they don’t have it. They have nothing to say, don’t push envelopes, and are uncreative in their stage acts. Those other girls also don’t court the gay community the way Madonna did. Thats what made her global icon that she is. As far as her age she isn’t 65 so what’s the issue here? Cher & Tina Turner put on fantastic shows when they were both 60 years old.’s. It’s not about the age but about ability.

I am digging the Madonna at any age. She is a chameleon and has changed with the times. At least she is famous for something instead of nothing (**cough**) Britney-Paris (**cough cough**). Okay, I was a major supporter of Live8 when it was on last summer but Bob Geldolf pissed me the **** off. Al Gore, [who is more well spoken than George Bush ever will be and should have won the election and is a genius in my opinion is trying to spread the word by something effects us all…Music. Of course everyone knows about Global Warming. But not everyone is getting the message and we have to pound it into people’s heads that it is happening. A thing that everyone listens to is music and it is a thing that can reach everyone no matter where you live. I mean a band performing in the middle of a glacier in Alaska? Come on people, that was a friggin amazing performance. So Bob Geldolf needs pull whatever stick he has out of his ass and open his eyes. There is more problems in this world than Poverty and Starvation.
