Hawaii’s Bachelor Lt. Andy Baldwin and his bride-to-be Tessa Horst are still together and looking mighty fine.
The couple competed in the “Cholo’s 2000 Swim” off the Hawaiian island of Oahu on Saturday. (Cholo’s restaurant organized the swim event — they serve homestyle Mexican cuisine.) Hundreds of people turned out to compete in and watch the 1.2 mile swim in the waters off Waimea Bay.
Both Andy and Tessa completed the swim in good time. Officer and a Gentleman Andy waited for his “rose” and greeted her with a hug and a kiss as she crossed the finish line.

Thank you so much for posting these lovely pictures of the lovely couple. I totally enjoyed the interviews as well. I love how they are truly so into each other. Tessa is very very beautiful in yellow. Andy has a triathlete body speedo and all. Tessa is demure and in a swim competition so I would not think a two piece bikini is appropriate so she wears a cover all competition bathing suit. They looked great together. Thanks again.

His thighs are massive! Ick! He doesn’t look his height either. In his speedos and exposed pecks, he looks squatty and stumpy like Tom Cruise. The only thing elegant about the Mrs-to-be is her name. She looks like a goofy plain-jane.

Enough with all the complaints and criticism about their anatomy. Are you trying to tell me your bodies are better than Tess & Andy’s?? Really? NOT! I doubt most of us can even fit into a speedo and look as good as they, let alone float in water for 10 minutes ha ha.
Hello! the man has a swimmer’s body what do you expect people!!!??! he is beautiful and on the ring thing why should she wear a ring, they are not married yet! He is beautiful and she is too, a very beautiful couple.
Give them a break! They are not starving themselves or overweight. They look healthy and toned. Take your venon and spew it on horrible things that are going on around the world. This beautiful couple are not deserving of the nasty comments. I bet the ones critizing them are not fit and know nothing about athletes.
He does have a great body, but it does look kinda funny sometimes. Oh well. I know Speedos aren’t the greatest things on earth but when it comes to swimming… one needs to wear something that does not cause unnecessary baggage (like board shorts) because it doesn’t help with the speed/aerodynamics while swimming FAST. I wouldn’t approve of just wearing it around the beach though. As for the one-piece swimsuit..it makes sense to wear it and not some string bikini that would eventually just fall off anyways. Duh!
Tessa is beautiful, elegant and smart. So what if she has an odd, quirky personality. Who doesn’t?!?! We are all weird in our own way.
And who would wear an engagement ring while they are doing a swimming competition? I would put it away for safekeeping so it doesn’t get lost at sea! It can slip off pretty easily.. since I know friends who’ve lost their rings from surfing & other watersports.
Anyhow.. I’m rooting for this couple and cannot wait till they eventually make it down the aisle! :-)
This must be a generational thing becasue I love a fit man in a speedo. I can’t get over guys covering up their bodies on the beach pratically wearing tablecloths down to their knees. That looks ridiculous to me. In any event, if you’re a swimmer you wear a suit you can swim in. Not yards of material that will drown you.
Oh, I’m sure they are lovely people but he always seems very suspect to me. He pings to high heaven. I don’t expect any self-revelations with the military thing and all and his obvious enthusiasm for having a very public blow-out wedding, but every instinct tells me this guy is gay.
And why would this woman wear a diamond on a beach? It’s bad enough women think they should wear huge diamonds in the day with informal wear, let’s don’t encourage them to wear them with bathing suits.

He’s got a VERY weird body, but speedos are always welcome. Atleast you can swim in them, unlike in some long trunks.
Only Americans don’t approve speedos, go to any beach in Europe and you’ll see that 90% of men wear speedos!
Why isn’t he doing his job serving his country? Why are we giving this reality couple publicity…this is ridiculous!
I live in Spain for 4 years and men wear speedo all the time. People are just jealous that Andy found the love of his life who is a total jem…smart, poise, elegant, athletic yet feminine, kind, adventurous, intelligent and most of all loving and caring towards Andy. What a man does not want a woman like Tessa! Andy…a great American guy who I salute for serving the country so others can enjoy the freedom (like these f**ls are talking about these wonderful couple). To Andy and Tessa….GOD BLESS YOU AND WISH YOU HAVE A LASTING LIFE TOGETHER.

Her bottom is gross, she has offically joined the shovel butt club. And yes he should not be wearing that marble sack. Bananna Hamocks are not good on anyone unless there is a gold metal involved.
I am not a fan of the mens Speedo, and very few men can pull it off, but if anyone can make them look good it is Andy Baldwin! There is not an ounce of fat on the guy! He and Tessa look so great together, no matter WHAT they wear!

Competitive swimmers wear SPEEDOS. All the guys at this race have SPEEDOS on. Less drag.
Andy would actually be out of place in anything else at this event.
