I have a shirt just like that one. I did not buy it because of Jolie. I bought it because of the cause of ending poverty. This is not just jolie’s cause, it is the world’s cause. If jolie was not part of it, it still would be going on because of all the people who are involved.

Geez, Jared…I just made fun of this earlier today and now you’re trying to prove me wrong! I said X would never stoop to doing anything with the word “Africa” in it, but I guess if her butt-buddy Court supports it, then all those little starving and dying little black people in Africa must need her to wear their t-shirt to prove she’s not down with poverty. The post below is one I put on the last thread about X never doing any charity work for African relief. She’s just self-centered enough to think that wearing a FREE t-shirt is doing “charity work”. Seeing her in that t-shirt reminds me of a quote attributed to her about why she and Brad were breaking up - because she “didn’t care about any of Brad’s 3 A’s - Africa, Architecture and Angelina.” Seems like someone has a guilty conscience.

Or she could have tried to get on baord with Jay Z’s Africa project about bringing clean water to villages there. But I think she knows the Africa charity thing has sailed for her. Is it any wonder that Brad Pitt said “ENOUGH!”???

The poor guy just wanted to live his life, so he went to the other extreme, to a woman like Angelina who goes all out, doing for others, enjoying her children, flying airplanes, riding motorcycles, and studying world politics. We’d be shocked if reclusive Jen could find Namibia, Cambodia, or even San Diego on a map! With a $30,000 a month Malibu rental, two full-time bodyguards, trainers, etc., to service our Jen, 38, Celebrity Babylon guesstimates that Angelina, 32, could take one month of that money and support an entire village in Africa for a year!

EXACTLY….I’m sure she’ll write a check to support the cause if she chooses to do so but I doubt she is wearing it to tie herself to this specific charity. Every little bit helps though so maybe this will get some more exposure on the important causes this charity supports and get more folks (her fans) to help.

P.S. Any celebrity will tell you right or wrong, publically supporting a cause will inevitably lead to criticism. I don’t think Jen is the type to stand that, which is why most of her dealings in this arena are more low key.

I really want this triangle thing to stop. Angelina is soooo deeply involved and commited to her causes. Angelina fans should really read more of her inteviews, esp the Esquire one, its online now. Wearing a t-shirt and sitting front row at a fashion charity event is not the same as building schools,clinics and entire villages with your own money like oprah,madonna and angelina. She is unhappy that her career is somewhat stalled and perplexed as to why. She is also getting older and knows that the shelf life for an actress is short as compared to an actor. JA worries too much about her looks in comparison to others and about what others think of her. This has to drive people around her crazy at times. She is very dependent on CCox. She does not accept how fortunate she is as compared to so many in this world. She has difficulty looking outside her safe little circle. VV was good for her, she was happier with him than with Brad because they are more compatible, but she pushed him away. She has moved on from the divorce and wants her fans to do so. She does not want to be seen as any type of victim because she is not.

She is willing to take a year off and not work as an actress because that is not what she prizes. ANGELINA PUTS BRAD FIRST IN HER LIFE AND BRAD PUTS ANGELINA FIRST IN HIS LIFE. THEY HAVE BOTH MADE CHANGES AND COMPROMISES SO THAT THEIR RELATIONSHIP SUCCEEDS. BRAD WANTED A BIOLOGICAL CHILD SO ANGELINA CHANGED HER MIND AND THEY HAD SHILOH. Angelina can care at times very little as to how she looks, that is not one of her main concerns. She has time on her side as she is 32 and that can make a big difference in how one sees life. She is much more vulnerable and traditional than many want her to be or accept that she is. She does not want to trust Brad but she totally does.

Some of you posting here are taking your frustrations with your lives out on these two women. Neither is perfect, they are who they are. Both woman are trying to live their lives as best as they can. Some relationships are successes and others are failures. STOP WITH ALL THE BLAME ON EITHER ONE.

Because the thing is, she pretty much admits all the above. She pretty much admits she’s still an extreme personality, but that her extremism has found a purpose. How else could she explain the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Project? I mean, it began as a house — a house in an exotic locale, for sure, on thirty-nine hectares in northwest Cambodia — and it ended as, well, an entire village, because that’s just the way she is. She bought the house after she adopted Maddox. She wanted to make sure he never forgot where he was born, so she bought what she calls a “traditional Cambodian house on stilts,” right next to the national park that was supposed to be protecting Cambodia’s dwindling population of Asian black bears, Asian elephants, and the tigers that came across the border from Thailand. The only problem was that the national park was a national park in name only, and so the first time she stayed there, she heard that a tiger was found cut in half by poachers not far from where she lived. She had this amazing backyard, but it turned out that her backyard was a refuge not simply for endangered animals but for the very people and the very forces that were endangering them, not to mention land mines and bunkers left by the Khmer Rouge, which got its start in what is now Angelina’s Jolie’s backyard, and made its last stand there, too.

And so, yeah, what she wound up doing was crazy. Who but a crazy person decides to take care of a situation in her own backyard by expanding her sphere of influence from 39 hectares to 60,000, which comes to 230 square miles? Who but a crazy person looks up Stephan Bognar, a guy she read about in National Geographic because he was trying to save the animals in Baghdad’s zoo as well as the lions abandoned by Uday and Qusay, and hires him to run a conservation project involving the better part of northwest Cambodia, and then, when she figures out that it can’t work if it’s just a conservation project, goes to the big policy symposium in Davos so that she can meet economist Jeffrey Sachs and learn how to turn her conservation project into a self-sustaining Millennium Village, in accordance with UN development goals? Sachs has been working to create Millennium Villages in Africa, and there are about eighty of them. But Angelina Jolie doesn’t have a house in Africa. She has a house in Cambodia, so that’s where she — or, to be more precise, the Maddox Jolie-Pitt Project — puts her Millennium Village. It’s the first and only one in Asia, the first and only one outside Africa, and in its purview there are ten villages previously isolated from one another, about six thousand villagers and seventy-two employees — some of them poachers now employed as rangers — drawing their paychecks from Angie and Brad.

Okay: Even she uses the word crazy to describe what she’s wrought. Because one of the things a Millennium Village needs to stay within UN Millennium development goals is a school, so she built a school. But how are the kids going to get to the school? So she started building roads. But how are the kids going to get enough to eat once they get to the school? It’s not just a matter of feeding them out of one’s own largesse. It’s a matter of feeding them in such a way that they keep getting fed, long after one’s own largesse is withdrawn. So she built a soy-milk factory, which makes use of not only the local crop but also the largesse of the local farmers. And so, in the three months since milk from the microfactory started flowing, the number of students at the school increased from 699 to 810…and that’s just one aspect of the village. Four times a week, she’s in touch with Bognar, helping him manage the water-conservation projects and the soil-conservation projects and the biomass-for-fuel projects and everything else that she has so far been paying for out of her own pocket.

And yet what kind of life does she lead, if not a Hollywood one? The way she makes it sound, she and Brad function like any other couple, even when — especially when — they’re in Cambodia. She likes to explore, and although they’ve had the place de-mined and installed night-vision cameras on their property, Brad worries. “Brad’s more — well, he doesn’t get angry with me. He just gets concerned. He’s much more — well, maybe he’s smarter about it. The attitude being, Let’s not just be walking around here, let’s be cautious in a healthy way. I’m brave to the point of stupidity sometimes. He’s asking if the property can be de-mined again.”

There are still elephants in their part of northwest Cambodia, and there are still elephants to the south of them, in an area protected by the organization WildAid, and so, Angelina says, “if we can get our section connected with their section, it will be the largest elephant migration in Asia. If we can get it so the animals feel safe, we hope to be sitting in the house when the elephants walk by.”

And so here’s a question. There can be few ambitions more meaningful than saving Asian elephants. Indeed, we’re talking about meaning on a grand, almost impossible scale: the largest elephant migration in Asia! The question is this: Does the meaning change when we realize that the people who get to watch the saved elephants migrate are Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie?

If JA loved Brad and was happy with him as her husband and Brad loved JA and was happy with her as his wife they would still be married. Happy people stay with the people who make them happy. They face whatever challenges come along as a team and stay together. FOR WHATEVER REASON JA AND BRAD WERE NOT IN IT FOR THE LONG HAUL, THEY PROVED TO BE INCOMPATIBLE. JA did not want children as much as Brad did. Now you all can deny this but the facts are plain to see, in a 6 1/2 year relationship, no kids. She does not like to travel, she has no interest in architechture and let all know it, he was unhappy with her group of friends being around all the time and her telling her friends all their business. NEITHER BRAD NOR JA PUT THE OTHER FIRST IN THEIR LIVES. THEY BOTH WENT THEIR MERRY WAY AS IF THEY WERE TWO SINGLE PEOPLE. For whatever reason, these two people did not have a happy healthy relationship and so they are no longer together. MARRIGES BREAK FROM WITHIN, THIS IS THE TRUTH, NEITHER SPOUSE CAN BE STOLEN. This is what happens in real life. JA is not unhappy that Brad is out of her life, she recognized that they were miserable together and she was tired of that situation (said in her 2006 HarpersB interview that her marriage ended in summer of 2004). She is unhappy that her career is somewhat stalled and perplexed as to why. She is also getting older and knows that the shelf life for an actress is short as compared to an actor. JA worries too much about her looks in comparison to others and about what others think of her. This has to drive people around her crazy at times. She is very dependent on CCox. She does not accept how fortunate she is as compared to so many in this world. She has difficulty looking outside her safe little circle. VV was good for her, she was happier with him than with Brad because they are more compatible, but she pushed him away. She has moved on from the divorce and wants her fans to do so. She does not want to be seen as any type of victim because she is not.

Angelina loves Brad and Brad loves Angelina and they are happy together. Angelina is not a homewrecker or any other derogatory term some of you use. Brad and Angelina have assumed a great deal of responsibility with four children they both totally love. They have faced many challenges and still they are inseparable, they make their lives mesh. No man or woman adopts children other than because they want children. Brad went from no children to four chldren in 2 years, AND HE IS A HAPPY CONTENT SATISFIED MAN AND SAID HE WOULDN’T CHANGE A THING IN HIS LIFE (he said this in Cannes in an interview). Other wise he would have moved on. Angelina does not put her career first, she likes acting, but HER FAMILY IF FIRST AND FOREMOST IN HER LIFE. HER FAMILY IS BRAD AND THEIR KIDS. She is willing to take a year off and not work as an actress because that is not what she prizes. ANGELINA PUTS BRAD FIRST IN HER LIFE AND BRAD PUTS ANGELINA FIRST IN HIS LIFE. THEY HAVE BOTH MADE CHANGES AND COMPROMISES SO THAT THEIR RELATIONSHIP SUCCEEDS. BRAD WANTED A BIOLOGICAL CHILD SO ANGELINA CHANGED HER MIND AND THEY HAD SHILOH. Angelina can care at times very little as to how she looks, that is not one of her main concerns. She has time on her side as she is 32 and that can make a big difference in how one sees life. She is much more vulnerable and traditional than many want her to be or accept that she is. She does not want to trust Brad but she totally does.

Some of you posting here are taking your frustrations with your lives out on these two women. Neither is perfect, they are who they are. Both woman are trying to live their lives as best as they can. Some relationships are successes and others are failures. STOP WITH ALL THE BLAME ON EITHER ONE.

Jennifer has been involved with charities for years. She’s been very active with various women’s groups and also recently has been getting involved with environmental causes.

I think that I am tired of the back and forth bickering
with the JenFans. I think that I am ready to lay down my guns,
and to make peace. I accept Jennifer Aniston as a real cool lady,
and as a real force to reakon with in the future. I will get over
the notion of singing female prisoners, when it becomes a surprising
success, and I will applaud her.

Today, I got so much satisfaction from studying a Spanish lessons
book, that for once, I gave no thought to Jennifer and Vince,

is time for me to pursue other interests. I haven’t felt this sure
before. I just know that the show will go on without me.

I am shocked that I have not been to see Ocean’s 13!!! I have been
