OlderPosh: We Want to Embrace American Culture
Posh Spice, otherwise known as Victoria Beckham, speaks with The Today Show’s Matt Lauer to “clear up some misconceptions about her sometimes sour disposition, her family’s move to L.A., and her much-publicized friendship with Katie Holmes.”
On accepting American culture: “We are so excited about America. We want to embrace the culture with open arms. This is a huge move for us, for our children. You know, David takes his career very seriously. This is a big, big deal for us.”
On some people thinking she always looks too serious: “I know. It’s always about the outfit, you know? … At the end of the day there’s always a lot of press around. They select the pictures they want. They make you look the way they want you to look. It’s an image. I think there are some people that would be quite devastated should I actually smile or look pleasant, for that fact.”
On not being as famous as other couples in Los Angeles: “We have a great life. But we are relatively private, you know? And there are so many really famous people in LA. I mean, we always joke about it and say, ‘You know, you got Brad Pitt. You got Angelina Jolie. You got Tom. You got Katie. I mean, we’ll just be Victoria and David.”
On her BFF Katie Holmes: “She’s a very strong, sweet, lovely girl. She’s helped me so much with the move. She’s genuinely a nice girl. Wonderful family.”
On how frequent she cleans the toilet bowl: “Every now and then. In a pinch.”

Well, can I get a witness? That W spread was fuc*** HOT! These two make AJ and BP look like stale,shriveled up,old prunes.
“Relatively private” - is that some kind of joke! Victoria Beckham works 100% every day for only one object - more and more publicity for herself and whatever she does. I haven’t worked out exactly why we get non-stop media publicity of this very unattractive woman with her plastic boobs, frosty stuck-up plastic-surgery face - perhaps someone could explain this strange phenomenon to me. She has the nerve to mention real celebrities in her comments - Brad and Angelina, Tom and Katie - does she reckon that she is up to their level of talent in acting? I hope that the American press will ignore her and save us daily photos of this non-talented nobody.
I love the BECKHAMS! People don’t know her and they’re already judging her. The should get to know her better by reading her autobiography and watch “THE REAL BECKHAMS” before making unnecessary comments.

We know who they are, Lory. We don’t need to read her autobiography. The real beckham reality show proved what an egocentric and controlling B*tch posh skeletor is. We’re so glad they’ve fucked out of the UK now. Good riddance!!!

I agree with everything you said except one thing…..Katie Holmes is not a good actress like her husband, Tom, and Angeline. Please don’t put them in the same category. Katie is B-list at best and that’s probably still giving her wayyyyyy to much credit.

Oh yes, Katie Holmes…my my. I can’t get away from her. She’s obsessed with everything about me. First, she tried to dress like me, then she got her hair cut like mine. Now she’s trying to copy my sultry facial expressions. Have you noticed she rarely smiles anymore? I hate to hurt her feelings but she will never be sexy and poised like me. The thing that attracted and still attracts me to Katie is Tom Cruise!!!!

if she is a private person, than why is she walking around in big shades, a ball gown and heels in central park with matt lauer ??? and why is she ANNOUNCING to the world that she’s moving to the states? if she wanted to show the world she’s not who we think she is, than she should have done all of this quietly.
