Katie Holmes @ Hairspray Premiere
Katie Holmes (in Alaïa) makes a surprise appearance, walking the red carpet in a little black mini at the New York premiere of Hairspray on Monday at the Ziegfeld Theatre.
Katie, 28, showed up to support the entire Hairspray cast, including fellow Scientologist John Travolta, who plays female impersonator Edna Turnblad in the film (the hefty mother of main character Tracy).

As a Jolie fan it is interesting to me how many haters say they are concerned for the emotional health of her children because of her so called instability. Me I’m curious about any child’s emotional development inside a cult like Scientology. Curious that there isn’t the same volume of ‘concerned’ citizens for Suri’s welfare.
@ Lilfowa, I agree. Calfs are weird. There just strait like, a tree trunk. Not to much definition much in the ankle from the calf. She’s difiantly cute as can be. She looked better w/ the long hair. So what?-hair grows back. She’s blinded by a fugling midget man troll!

At least Katie had a outing all by herself, without Tom creeping from nehind. SOME PEOPLE ARE JUST OUT OF CRITICS, THERE IS NO WAY KATIE’S HAIR IS LOOKING LIKE POSH’S. SHE JUST HAS A SHORT HAIR DO, but i agree that she is prettier with her long hair, unless her hair stylist could come up with something better in the short hair looks..
I agree that Katie is looking even more “Stepford”.
Even in the second photo where she is getting out of the car, she still has that same odd frozen look on her face.
Is poor Katie so used to being surrounded by “handlers” that when she is standing by herself she honestly doesn’t know to behave or react?

The dress does nothing for her. Hair’s cute but would look nicer if a bit more styled, in place.
