Katie Holmes @ Hairspray Premiere
Katie Holmes (in Alaïa) makes a surprise appearance, walking the red carpet in a little black mini at the New York premiere of Hairspray on Monday at the Ziegfeld Theatre.
Katie, 28, showed up to support the entire Hairspray cast, including fellow Scientologist John Travolta, who plays female impersonator Edna Turnblad in the film (the hefty mother of main character Tracy).

My, my… all the shills are out in full force. Enough already. Katie Holmes is nothing special. Yes, she finally looks decent, happens to be dressed appropriately and like the hair cut (except a little gel and flat iron would have done wonders for this occasion). But to say that she is “amazing”… Huh? What has she ever done to deserve that adjective? Stunning? Sexy? Hot?… Not so much. Classy?! HAHAHAHAHAHA…… Sorry… Classy? Ummmmmm… no. Cute? ….. yah… cute works. Great legs? What is with all of the “great legs” comments? Shills… just because you say it, doesn’t make it true.
