OlderNick & Vanessa: Post-Sex Pictures Scandal
Nick Lachey and girlfriend Vanessa Minnillo (in Catherine Malandrino) put their sex pictures scandal behind them and put on a happy face on Monday at the grand opening of the new apartment complex “The Atelier” in New York City. (Yes, the same one that pulled that publicity stunt on Orlando Bloom.)
Nick recently has said about his privacy: “You can’t ever take a moment for granted, and think that you have a private home in a private, you know, residence, in a private neighborhood There is no such thing, unfortunately. …No, no, no. [We're not getting married yet.] We’re very happy, but we’re just — we’re leaving it at that. Not putting any, you know, grand plans in motion. We’re just, we’re enjoying each other, enjoying life.”

Christina, I disagree with you. I think he is truly connected with Vanessa…it’s something you can see it in their eyes. I think this connection was lacking in his relationship/marriage with Jessica. I think they also exude chemistry…also lacking with Jessica IMO. I also agree with Melissa’s post…every word of it.
Vanessa is a dog without makeup (not great with it, either). Her face looks like a bloated monkey. She’s nothing but trash and Nick can do way better than this chipmunk cheek media ho.

I totally agree with your comments you really can tell that he is madly in love with Vanessa. Like if you look at the arrangement of pictures from this post and you see the one in which he is looking at her and his face is just lit up. It’s like forget about the fact that we’re on the red carpet for an event, it’s just me and you baby and I don’t care what the rest of the world thinks I LOVE YOU! Even if you look at past pictures like the one’s from TRL its like his face just lights up when she speaks or anytime she’s near him. And I have to say that I don’t remember him ever being that way with Jessica when they were photographed.
Melissa, I agree if you take a look above at picture #14 you really can tell, it kind of makes you get chills just looking at that picture, it’s how most women want to be looked at by their significant other when there together. It’s kind of funny because looking at the pictures this song came into my head by Kelly Rowland, called “This Is Love”; and some of the lyrics go:

Well my input is that honestly Vanessa really is much classier than Jessica. Jessica’s body is sick and cheap. Vanessa is actually slim and toned. She knows how to dress. Jessica of course is a star, even though lately she hasn’t stirred up anything in Hollywood. Vanessa will never be a star, only a vj dating a b-lister (in my opinion). He really isn’t gorgeous. He is ugly, but has a hot body. She’s not a beauty queen, it’s her personality that makes her shine. Well as for her being a gold-digger. I disagree. I believe she is happy with Nick. They will never amount to any fame. They just want to be happy and why shouldn’t they? They have the right to.
I agree with you Melissa, as the old cliche says…the eyes never lie. I think he was already in love with her last year…when they were on TRL together.
IMO, If Vanessa were a gold digger she would have dumped Nick to return to Derek Jeter. I have no doubt Jeter would still be involved with her if she had not broken off that relationship to be with Nick. I think money and fame are probably secondary to Nick and Vanessa. Love, happiness and family probably take precedence.
I totally agree with Melissa the eyes never lie and I think that the two of them really are not out for the whole FAME thing, I know in past interviews he has stated that he doesn’t care for it and would much rather be at home with the kids and a wife happy to be out of the public eye. As for people saying that she is riding his coat-tail because she wants to be an actress, I recall in past interviews with her as well that her idea job is to be a mom and wife but would also like to pursue an career as an Engineer not an actress. I think that the two of them look and seem happy, I think that as long as they continue to not let the outside world invade their relationship they will be happy, when you let the negativity in that’s when **** starts to fall apart. So LUCK to you guys.
