Brad loved Jen. They stopped growing as a couple. They started to go in different direction. Brad was already getting involved with charity and Jen had admitted it makes her nervous to attach her name to charities.. he was starting to focus more on world issues, she was starting a launch her film career by lining up movie after movie. They were spending huge blocks or time away from one another and had stopped tying to visit sets to see one another. They weren’t connecting anymore. Still great friends, still loving one another but no longer in love. Quickly losing the spark and the marriage wasn’t working. And considering Jen and her long time therapist.. I would imagine they had counselling too.They were slowing burning out.

Brad’s exes tried to destroy him. THAT is why Angelina, and more importantly, it is why Brad - has no desire to have anything to do with them.
