Sooooooo…am I supposed to be nice to the trolls? Now THAT I don’t get. They either don’t like Brad & Angie together, Angie herself or Brad himself. Why are they wasting their time - in some of these morons cases we’re talking over 2 years! - posting comments, day and night, on a FAN blog-thread about people they don’t like? What kind of loser gets their rocks off like that?
I don’t like Paris, Brit, Hohan, X, Diaz, etc., and I’m not on their threads posting nasty comments about them. Why bother? I can do that here. BUT…I DO like Brad & Angie and I can be here to show my support and be nice to the other fans and it would be lovely if we didn’t have to put up with trolls, but since we do…why be polite to them? They don’t appreciate it or else they wouldn’t write such vile and ugly posts. The few Fanistons we’ve ever had here who’ve written polite posts…we’ve responded to in kind, but I must say that eventually every one of them has turned ugly when it became apparent that we in no way sympathize with X. But, for those who write foul comments strictly to try to annoy us? There’s no point in being nice to those people because they don’t want to be your friend, they don’t like you, and they don’t want to understand your point of view. They are here simply to ridicule and debase Brad & Angie and their kids. That deserves disdain and sarcasm - not politeness.

Tennis player Justine Henin cut almost her entire FAMILY out of her life for 8 years over an issue she won’t divulge. Only recently has she been in contact with any of her older siblings. She spoke to her father for the first time in all that time just before the French Open in May. Were you out there lobbying Henin demanding that she speak to her family? Or how about X who cut out the woman who raised her? Or any of the other hundreds of thousands estranged children who don’t speak to their families? If not, STFU about it.. IF Angie can forgive her father she’ll do it on her terms and not yours.

I didn’t say anything hateful about Michael Vick I just said he was stupid to throw his life away for the cheap thrills he gets from dogfights. That’s just common sense. They guy is an incredible talent and electrifies the quarterback position like no other player in the history of football. If he ever learned to harness the throwing power of his arm and develop better touch…with a couple of decent wide receivers he could have been one of the all-time greats and changed the dull drop-back look of the NFL quarterback. Instead, he’s looking at doing a nickel plus one courtesy of your tax dollars. That’s not hate - it’s disgust.
I’m just sick of black male athletes who through their lives away for something that’s fleeting like a marijuana high or gambling or rape charges - what have you. They have an opportunity to escape the ghetto and proverty that a lot of black kids, especially female athletes, generally don’t have and it’s frustrating to see how many of them, time and time again, throw it all away with a few careless selfish acts. They don’t see the big picture. It’s all about NOW, this moment in time. And then they find themselves faced with doing time and start blaming other people for their problems. I can practically see Vick gearing up to say he was a victim and trusted his cousin. Only it doesn’t float because they’ve got evidence of him personally betting hundreds of thousands of dollars at the fights.
So no, I don’t hate Michael Vick, but I AM disappointed in him. I thought he was going to be different from his dimwitted younger brother. Instead, it looks llike both apples stayed close to the tree and rotted on the ground.

I just saw a fashion program on tv - they said that it was Audrey Hepburn & Hubert Givenchy who started the whole Little Black Dress concept in Beakfast at Tiffany’s. But wearing black started before that and before Jen, in the old countries black was the oinly color widows wore. Beatniks in the 1950s wore black, and Goths wore black. And of course, Angelina wears black.

Angie can be the hot-and-sexy femme fatale, she can be the Earth Mother taking care of her kids, she can be the action hero, she can be the loving wife, and she can be the world-respected humanitarian who, “puts on my suits and cover up my tattoos” and head off to Washingon lobby for the world’s children. No, he’s not. Stop believing everything in the IMDB. Brad’s rep has NOT confirmed that he is doing that movie. He will be filming State of Play during Nov & Dec 2007. The director said he wanted Brad to play John Dean and every since then people have been saying he’s doing the film when Brad’s rep has never once confirmed it.And don’t say he’s filmed 2 movies at the same time before because M&MS went on hiatus while Brad shot O12 in Europe.

Ha, obviously! It is always on her terms. I am gonna laugh when Maddox grows up and responds to his mothers demands by rebelling against her, exactly as she has done with her father.
She will find, it is easy for children to find their parents negatives, just as well as their positives. There is no perfect parent, no matter what your idol has brainwashed you to believe. She will only understand when she has her actions to her own father come full circle to her.
Lucky for all those children, when that happens, they will have Brad to lean on. He was a blessing in their lives.
Some people don’t have the whole story about Jon Voight and Angelina Jolie. The most egregious thing he did - among the many that if I was his daughter I would banish him for - was accusing Angelina on national & international tv of being mentally unstable. This during the crucial period of adopting Maddox. Whether you agree with Jon or not, it was indefensible for a father to do this to his daughter and ambush her - endangering the adoption.
I don’t believe parents have automatic rights on their children & grandchildren. Sometimes they forfeit those rights when tbey’ve been verbally, emotionally, physically and sexually abusive. Many survivors of this kind of abuse choose to create their own families from common love and caring without toxic bloodties. I’m not saying Jon is abusive in this way, just pointing out that laws & customs give Angelina first & final say about the well-being of her children.
Angelina has also said in interviews that Jon sent letters that were mean and hurtful, and that for her and her family’s peace of mind she had to distance herself and close that chapter.
It’s not like she didn’t try reconciling with her estranged father before. She did at least twice, once for the first Lara Croft movie. When she won the Oscar/Golden Globe/Screen Actors Guild Awards, her grateful acknowledgements were captured on video.
If Jon really wants to reconcile, first he should learn his grandkids’ names (that’s Zahara, not Shakira, Jon). Then he should publicly make amends to Angelina, and make deep and sincere apologies for all his mistakes — especialy abandoning his young wife and 2 children while enjoying his stardom - without paying child support. (If he hasn’t already, he should beg Michelle Bertrand’s forgiveness for his affairs, and for forcing her to put his career first, abandoning her dreams as an actress to be a wife & mother.) Then he should stop talking about their relationship in the media and in public, and wait for Angelina’s response.
Huh, I’m laughing too. All kids go through teen rebellion - that’s the natural process of growing up. If anyone could ‘relate’ (our word back in the day), be understanding and supportive of her teens rebelling, it would be Angie.

Mad, Pax & all the Asian kids will have operations to widen their eyes so they look more white. Z & the other black kids will go to bleaching salons and Michael Jackson’s doctor.
They’ll go to Jesus Camp and their best friends will be Paris’, Brit’s and Lindsay’s kids - and Dina Lohan will be like a 2nd mother to them. They’ll throw away their progressive politics and become neo-conservative acolyttes of Karl Rove and Paul Wolfowicz(sp?). No more riding motorcycles & flying planes. No more sex or any of the bases until married. Kissing is a gateway to sexual abandon & downfall. Yatzee & Uno are good, Jumanji too. Only G-rated movies.
