Tom Cruise is a Nazi

Fact Check: Stauffenberg was NOT a Nazi, in fact he came from one of the oldest aristocratic Roman Catholic families in Germany. He opposed Hitler and Nazi policies, and was involved in the German military’s resistance against Hitler. He was executed after the failed plot of 20 July 1944 to kill Hitler, which is what this movie is based on.

Generally speaking, a high percentage of the soldiers and officers in the German Army (Wehrmacht) during the war were not, in fact, members of the Nazi party. Those who belonged to the SS, Waffen SS, and Gestapo units generally were members of the party.

Stauffenberg is considered a patriot and a hero in Germany today.

I´m really glad that Tom plays Col. Claus Stauffenberg.
Now he can tell worldwide the story about a Man and Soldier, who died for his conviction to kill the Evil Hitler.

He is a scientologist, he jumps on sofas to say his love for Katie Holmes and other crazy stuff… What matters to me is Tom Cruise has always been an excellent actor!!!!

He looks wonderful! A replica of the Nazi he’s playing, how enigmatic. I hope he wins an oscar this year. It’s about time.

Every year on the 21th of July comes in the German TV a filming or documentation about colonel count Claus Stauffenberg. On the 21th of July, 1944 he was executed after the unfortunately unsuccessful attempt on the monster Hitler. In the film it is shown like he became as an officer loyal in the beginning after awful experiences in the front and after heavy injury the opponent hitler. He decided to kill together with assistants Hitler. He wanted to form immediately after the attempt with his assistants and generals a new government and stop immediately all war actions. The film is really very exciting and also affecting. The end is very sad when colonel Stauffenberg and his assistants are executed.
I believe the film becomes in 2008 a success and the Oskar then is handy close for Tom. He is a good actor, he has shown this already in the film Born on the Fourth of July. By the way, what he makes private and acts is not our affair

Yes I think he is some kind of nut. And i cant stand him in interviews and on tv when he is just being himself. Infact I turn the TV off because he makes an ass of himself.But I CAN stand him in movies. Thats when I watch because he ACTS as SOMEONE ELSE. (very good I may add)

OK, so I know this is old, but this is just another Hollywood movie that is a distortion of the real facts. If you want to know more about von Stauffenberg, read a book. This movie is just like the history channel, Based upon true events.
