Why would the staff offer to waive the entrance fee. People get so celebrity crazy. A poor person who comes there five dollars short would probably be turned away. If they knew anything about this couple they would not have offered because that is the exact opposite of who they are.

They didn’t. Some kid who works at that park took those pics with his cell phone camera and sold them to Splash and other agencies. So, because of that now those agencies are sending paps to the area.

Oh, I know how they found out but the paps will still choose to hunt down to get pictures of them. They are on vacation and should be allowed to enjoy it with constantly having to cameras in their faces.

Honestly, I do not even really enjoy these pictures for the simple fact that Brad & Angie and family deserve a break from the world.
I’m happy that they are doing normal family activites but I think the person who took these photos is a s**thead for not respecting their privacy, the rest of the townspeople (judging from the article) respected the fact that the Jolie-Pitts needed some family down time, but not this a**hole.

Days after wrapping filming on her new movie Wanted in Prague, Angelina Jolie, along with Brad Pitt and their family, made a surprise visit to a French amusement park, according to the staff there and the local Charente Libre newspaper.

“We’re a small little town, we’re not used to having celebrities,” said one employee at the Aventure-Parc in Massignac. The facility, located in France’s Charente-Limousin region, features tree-climbing, rope swings and other outdoor activities for kids.

“We don’t get French celebrities, so it’s completely crazy to find yourself standing with Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, the most chased-after couple in the world in front of you,” said the employee. “Completely crazy.”

While the park’s six workers were seated at a picnic table having lunch, one told PEOPLE that on Monday afternoon a blacked-out Mercedes van pulled up carrying the Hollywood couple and three of their children, Maddox, 5, Pax-Thien, 3, and Zahara, 2.

“I asked myself, ‘Who is this man with a ball cap and this woman with black sunglasses?’ ” one staffer told PEOPLE. “We were all extremely shocked.”

The awed staff offered to waive the standard 5 € entry fee, but Jolie and Pitt insisted on paying. They stayed an hour, using the playground area that included a bouncy castle and a children’s obstacle course among other facilities.

“To see Brad Pitt knocking around in a bouncy castle with his children [and] screaming like wild animals was like a hallucination,” said park operator Benjamin Gautier.

The three-acre park, which also features rope climbing courses between trees, normally welcomes 100-150 people during the day, but was otherwise empty because of overcast weather, according to staff.

Hmmm… the French article Estelle and I translated on the last thread seems much more accurate than this People thing Jared has borrowed from.

For example, Benjamim Gautier is the Park manager and he was not present when the Jolie-Pitts visited the place. People magazine must have found the French news (very probably here - “wave to People, guys!”), phoned the Park and talked to the manager who gave them a second-hand version of things. That’s why People’s report is much more flat and uninteresting than the one from the French newspaper Charente Libre.

And you know what that means, guys… JJ’s threads are more up to date regarding J-P stuff than everyone else. We are the place to be. LOL

You are so right. I didn’t particularly enjoy the pix because I know they are so invasive. Some worker takes them with a cellphone, they are not clear and yet they are being publihed everywhere. You would think the mags would know better. I can’t even see the ballcap they say Brad ais wearing. Looks like his regular fedora to me. Those pix are no good and should have been canned.

If you can rise to the ocassion, improvise, think, solve the problem, and adapt to your enviroment, you can still be happy.

Prince William was born to royalty. Many people may feel he cannot live a normal life. But I am sure many people will trade their postion for princehood in a heart beat.

There is nothing wrong with the life of the Jolie Pitt. They are happy. I’ve noticed that in spite of being hounded and spied on, they managed to find times alone, vacation with their children. This is what I mean. They find a solution to all these. They adapt to the environment. Brad is very good at that. Do you remember there was NO pic of them spending 10 days in Missouri. When Angie came back from Vietnam with Pax, they were gone 1 week. NO pic of them. No one to this day know where they were. They were definitely NOT in LA because the paps know where they live. Another example, when Angie’s mother passed away, there is absolutely no pic of the griving daughter and until they were back in NOLA, no pic surfaced.

With this current outing at the park, the pics were far away. No paps shoves the camera in front of their face. No pic of them in the restaurant.

By the time the news of where they are, they are LONG gone.

This is why I love Brad. He is a smart man. He anticipates what is going to happen. He therefore provides solution for them. This is the material of a CEO. He is and will be a very good producer, since he possesses all the traits of a CEO.

Oh god, people are this desperate to see this couple. Leave them alone! They are just trying to live their lives!

I notice that Jared has an ad for Chelsea Handler’s show up. I understand that the man’s got to make a living, but Chelsea’s clearly drunk the E! kool-aid. I checked in for a couple of episodes - she has a panel of ‘celebs’ talk about topics. She had Ken Baker on (former west coast editor of UStinkly). The first topic was celebrity adoption. Now, if you want to talk about adoption, the list is frickin’ endless: Tom Cruise/Nicole Kidman, Stephen Spielberg, Calista Flockhart, Sharon Stone, Meg Ryan, and ACTUALLY in the entertainment news this week, Michelle Pfeiffer. But did they talk about anyone except for Angelina (BP curiously missing the diss!)? No. Bai Ling knows her from Sky Captain and tried to defend her, but Ken Baker said emphatically that everything, including adopting her children, was for PR. Bai Ling is not exactly a fluent speaker of English (plus she’s a bit wacko), so Chelsea leapt right in and tried to twist her support of AJ into something perverse. I have to give BL credit; she did not give up. And Victoria Jackson (no brain trust herself) piped up with I don’t know why she can’t adopt from her own country.

To that, I say, Mariane Pearl said it best, Angelina is a citizen of the world.

Anyway. That was a pretty sour experience. Then i cruised by another night and who was on the panel? Ted C. I did not even stop to see what shizz he was purveying.

There must have been a memo. Thou shalt trash the JPs — really AJ, and if some celeb says something nice about one of them, omit or edit or make into something negative if at all possible and if not, downplay.

I come from a very big family and let me tell you, it’s really hard to manange all kids at once, and often our parents tooks us to places in shifts. That’s just the way it is. There’s no malice or it doesn’t mean some kids aren’t loved, it’s just they grow at different rates and you have to accomodate accordingly.

Brad and Angie have love, happiness and good health in their lives as a family with their children. Of course, they also have unimaginable fame and fortune so many people and even celebrities can only dream of. I, for one, would love it if the celebrity tabloid press totally forgot about Angelina, Brad, Maddox, Pax, Zahara and Shiloh and any future kids they have. They’ve had more than their share of being tabloid fodder.

Bring on the hot Beckhams, see if Tom Cruise will rise to where he used to be, more Scientology controversy?, I hope; old & young Hollywood continues their wild drunken, druggng partying, sex tapes, arrests, court dates, rehabs; divorces, hookups & babies will keep happening.

I’d love it X found her true love and lived happily ever after; if she worked on her craft and started developing acting skills which then leads to parts. I hope her social circle opens beyond Cox-Arquette-Crow & Meyers. I wish her love & the best.

While Angie & Brad keep acting, they will have to make the occasional publicity & promotional, as well as red carpet, appearances for legitimate, non-tabloid media. When the Joli-Pitts have something to share about their humaitari8an/philanthropic activities - documentaries, refugees, orphans, Katrina and sustainable housing, etc. - they’ll do it with legitimage media.

when the first article appeared, I emailed it to parismatch and voici and ramey pics and splash and infgoff as a heads up and there still have been no pap pictures. paps are really useless sometimes!

It’s too bad the family’s location has now been revealed and the paps are there to harass them. I’m sure they’ll deal with it as they always do, it just would have been nice to have a bit more time to themselves I’m sure. And as for Shiloh, the reason they didn’t bring her to the Adventure Park is cause’ they didn’t want to. Simple as that, right? I mean they are her parents and decide collectively what they do with their children.

Some critics slay me with the whole ‘They bought Zahara places when she was Shiloh’s age’. Logically, it’s a bit easier to keep up with two kids VS. four. Of course Zahara went on a few more outings…there was only one other kid to take care of then. It was a 1:1 parent/child ratio…the family is bigger now. If/when they bring all four out, they will need to bring another pair of hands with them. Someone might say ‘Well I come from a family of four kids and our parents managed’. Your family wasn’t surrounded by paparazzi, I’m betting. In case this explanation is too elementary I’ll provide this one: the paps/tabs weren’t and aren’t foaming at the mouth for Maddox, Zahara, or Pax like they are Shiloh. For whatever reason grown ass people have out of body orgasmic experiences when they see this little girl (Lee’s Art Store, anyone?). I don’t know this family and I’m aware of it…Brad and Angie see it first hand. For this reason, the comparison is completely mute as it’s a whole new ballgame from when they were out and about with both Mad and Z. When they pop out another biological one, the focus on Shiloh will lessen but it will always be different for the biological children and the adopted from a media perspective. Because of that Brad and Angie will have to prepare their children accordingly and I have no doubt they will. If that makes some critics/hater think since she didn’t come her parents love Shiloh less than the others so be it. Any clear thinking individual knows that’s not true.

Hear, hear Just Once.. I’m getting just a little sick of these photos too! JJ and fellow readers. Isn’t it time that we all gave this lovely little family some peace and privacy? This is a completely normal activity for a young family.

What a rude person you are. Hopefully others on here aren’t as unfriendly. You could easily have ignored my question. As for the thread…I have seen many topics on here including recipes which I find really endearing but had I been a person such as yourself I would have responded to those with some rude, negative comment. Your world is probably very black and white with no grey areas due to a lack of brain activity. I asked for a photo that contained both AJ and BP not just BBT but even if I had I would expect that some kind person on here would have responded and anyone else who is not interested to ignore it. If I knew where it was I would not be posting!!

The gutsy movie “A Mighty Heart” is not the type of movie most people would go see especially during the summer season. If you check the critics, however, Angelina Jolie gets very good reviews. How can that be considered a “tank”? Sorry, Megan. And Aniston “tanked” approximately 5 movies in a row and was critically panned in “The Break Up” where she played herself. That’s hard to do!

There is, perhaps, a hint of the spirit of another Hollywood brat, the young Jane Fonda, in her, though it’s difficult to picture Jolie ever settling into such a doctrinaire sociopolitical stance as Fonda’s in the late ’60s. Jolie is so independent she doesn’t even qualify as a feminist, unless the definition can be extended to a woman who loved so fiercely that she carried a vial of her husband’s blood around her neck. As for politics, Jolie’s activism hasn’t lent itself to easy answers and finger pointing but to front-line involvement (”My first job today,” she wrote in her journal about her U.N. missions, “Notes From My Travels,” “was measuring the medicine powder at the therapeutic feeding center. How sad that the time you use to do that isn’t spent with family or friends…what a waste of a life you are.

I don’t think the neurtic women have gotten over the split yet. It takes time for them. See this is group of women born from the Sex and the City era. They can’t see their exs, they can’t see them with other women, they can’t just move on with their lives, they feel like crap if the guy dumps them, and they sleep around to make themseleves feel better. They need reassurce all the time.

Angelina is like me. We can love them, and if it doesn’t work it out, we move on. I saw her THS and she never sounded as pathetic as X when she talked about her divorces. That woman is really riding this train. If X in fact doesn’t want to she lets her friends and fans do it for her. I am sick of hearing about.
