Johnny of the Mediterranean: At Yacht’s End

A shirtless Johnny Depp and his bride-to-be, Vanessa Paradis, cruise the Mediterranean in their boat on their private yacht on Friday in Elba Island, Italy.

The Pirates of the Caribbean star may be ready to marry Paradis having been linked since 1998. The pair may wed as early as the end of this month.

Depp, 44, and Paradis, 34, currently live in France with their two children Lily-Rose, 8, and Jack, 5.

In France, marriage is not important like in the USA. That’s probably why they don’t get married, that’s just not a big deal for them.

There have been marriage rumors for years and that’s all they have been so far. They are happy and have been together for 9 years and that is what matters. They live outside Hollywood in France most of the time and that is probably why they are making it when so many Hollywood marriages don’t make it past the one year mark. They try to stay of the public as much as it is possible for them to do so. JohnnyD says that Vanessa and their kids, his family, are the most important part of his life.

wow #5 - issues much? bitterness? there are still people in this world who get married to satisfy themselves and each other…not “the Puritans”. there are people who believe that if you really want to be together, then you’ll be together in every way, including “legally”.

It isn’t marriage that fails couples. It’s people’s inability to work hard and commit that makes them fail at marriage. Marriage is hard work, folks! You either cut it or cop out!

Johnny is who he is today cause he’s never ridden the BS train in Hollywood. He stands out for his integrity of being who he is and chosen the roles that were important to him and not by Hollywood standards. Whether they are getting married or not; it’s not up to the world to judge or dissect their relationship. If they do great, if not why fix it if it ain’t broke. The man is and will always be simply GORGEOUS! He’s always down played his good looks cause he has said that doesn’t define him for who he is. And the comments about his or Vanessa’s teeth? Really? Are you people really truly that shallow? Johnny has stated in past interviews that he hates that fake ass cement look of fake bonded teeth so just another thing to respect him for with his flaws and all. And Vanessa by her own standards was famous for who she is before Johnny and her got together.
