Natalie Portman Plays in Central Park
Natalie Portman comes out of hiding and leaves an apartment on the Upper East Side in New York City on Saturday. The Oscar-nominated actress was seen walking to Central Park with friends. (They were wearing Harry Potter t-shirts and carrying around Deathly Hollows!)
Natalie, 26, was also seen hailing a taxi in the NYC’s West Village on Friday wearing a wifebeater and a torn-up pair of jeans. Hot sunglasses!
Someone also recently admitted, “I took home a piece of chewed-up gum Natalie Portman left behind at a Tilly and the Wall concert. My point is that very few of us are strong enough to fight the celebrity pull. We all want a piece of our idols – literally.” Nast.

I love her. She’s gorgeous, smart and a great actress. I just saw her in Paris Je’Taime and she was fantastic. She’s been looking very womanly these past few years- which I’m definitely enjoying.
I think she looks great in the pink dress- and is it just me or is that blonde kid looking at her chest? Heh.
I’d like to add that Natalie did an impressive Q&A at Oxford, and a heated, informative lecture at Columbia. (Learned a lot more about the Israeli judicial system from her than I do from the news!) Also, she wrote another paper that was published, when she was at college that has been cited in many major studies. If you search through Google’s blog search, you can find it.
What’s most attractive is her work with FINCA (please, please, let that be what it’s called- I always get that stuff wrong!). Traveling around these countries (like Uganda), dealing with politicians, raising money… I don’t care *why* she does it, I think that it’s good she does. I think more rich people ought to follow ehr example.
Natalie’s never tried to be bad, I don’t think. Didn’t she mock that idea during her stint on SNL? The rap that she did? (Honestly, I prefer her like this. Kirsten Dunst and all those other chicks talking about having sex in store changing rooms and stuff isn’t very attractive. Not the sex bit ;), just the need to share it with the world because…what’s the purpose?)

Shes a beautiful, talented and intelligent woman. Her involvement in the finca organisation makes her far from pretencious in my books. Shes a credit to her field and anyone who praises the likes of lohan or paris over her is a fool.

You still have to do the work load to graduate from Harvard. Balancing that with movies and actually going for full semesters takes a lot of work. She’s a hard worker and she is a very intelligent, well articulated young women. Unlike most celebs, she doesn’t get political unless she knows what she’s talking about. Beautiful too.

Yeah she dose give off the “I’m richer and more jewish then you” vibe, the thing that awoken me (besides dislike of acting and lack of eating) is that she said she had never been inside a walmart before! I don’t know why people praise New York so much, they all sound so rootless, sad to me. Like a progressive Roman city, paying big bucks to live in ugly condos, eat branch in cafes everyday, its only a stinking pile like everywhere else only hotter.
Ginger - And I’m sure where you live is just heavenly. Don’t knock New York (a beautiful city) or New Yorkers, they’re some of the toughest most resilient people, if you don’t get that that’s your issue. FYI, we don’t have WALMART in New York City…they also don’t have them in Boston, it sort of makes sense that she’s never been in one. I haven’t even seen one in Los Angeles. Also, not all people who live in NYC live in condos, that’s a terrible misconception. NYC includes four other boroughs, Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens and Staten Island, not just Manhattan.
P.S. it’s ruthless not “rootless”. If you’re going to insult an entire city of people, you might as well know how to spell the word properly.
