The invitation-only Beckham bash was attended by Hollywood elite: funny couple Jim Carrey & Jenny McCarthy, James Caviezel and wife Kerri Browitt, Vivica A Fox, Alyson Hannigan and actor hubby Alexis Denisof, Matthew Perry, Brooke Shields and hubby Chris Henchy, solo newlywed Eva Longoria, Melanie Brown with new producer boyfriend Stephen Belafonte, Devon Aoki, Ashton Kutcher and wife Demi Moore.
Other big-name guests included: director Ron Howard, producer Brian Grazer, American Idol creator Simon Fuller (he also manages the Beckhams), Wesley Snipes, Quincy Jones and Bruce Willis.

“Hollywood Elite” equals Robert DeNiro, Paul Newman, JoAnn Woodward, Jack Nicholson, Elizabeth Taylor, Kevin Spacey, Robert Duvall etc….. “Hollywood Elite” does not equal Beckhams, Smiths, Katie Holmes, Eva Longoria. Nothing against them but most of the “actors” today are NOT IN THE SAME CLASS as those ten years ago or more. I might put Tom Cruise in the “Elite” category if he were married to someone more polished than Katie. Nothing personal, but IMO she takes away from his “star” image. He used to be TOM CRUISE, now he’s just Tom Cruise that’s married to the girl from TV who is a bad actress. Not being mean, just honest.
The Beckhams are not overrated and you people are just jealous that yall were not invited. I am glad the media is focusing on some new and younger meat. I am sick of hearing about Brangelina in the news. They are so old and they cant hold a candle to the Becks (youthful and fashionable). Have yall seen that W photoshoot of posh and becks? That is one of the best photoshoots I have ever seen in W.

Why are the NBA stars ignored or even the hottie soccer teammates of Becks? Too bad most are married.
They didnt show many TV stars nor the TV family and movie castmates of Katie Holmes.
How can they even ignore the family of Spielberg,Don Cheadle,wife of Denzel,Michael Caine etc also legendary directors.

Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz would never have shined or even heard of without Tom Cruise. Same way with Paltrow and Aniston without Brad Pitt. Also Zeta Jones and Michael Douglas. Now Im thanking Tom and Batman for giving us Katie Holmes. Im not discrediting this talented ladies but what made them bigger is marrying their famous men.

Jared you’re the man next to Tom Cruise. It feels like Oscars night.
Nicole Kidman has an Oscar, Tom doesn’t. Gwineth Paltrow has an Oscar, Brad doesn’t. These women did not need these men to have successful careers. Nicole is still a bigger star in Australia than Tom is. And Nicole had a successful career and a hit movie with “Dead Calm” before she was married to Tom. So don’t say these women would have never been heard of without these men.
These women owe the men for exposing them to Hollywood in the first place. Oscars are not everything. Family and happiness are

Oscar or not many are robbed in the business and its okay for many actors and actresses who dont get one because they’re still the ones making excellent films and films that people watch.
Australia loves Tom especially his buddy James Packer. He did Last Samurai there. Its a pity if Australia does not love Nicole especially that she’s Aussie. Her buddies Russell Crowe,Hugh Jackman etc think highly of Tom Cruise so that means something.
I saw Crowe on 60 Minutes and the man praises Cruise nonstop.
Even Nicole still loves Tom and thanks him of where she is now.
In all honesty I prefer being BIG in America than anything else.
As many stars say you are nothing special if you cant be big in America. Its different in the land of America.
Why do think U2,Beattles,so many Brit actors,Canadian,Aussie actors even musicias want America. Celine Dion cried when she struggled to learn English because she says Canada is not enough when you cant be a star in America. God Bless Tom.

So glad to see The Sopranos cast coming also the cast of Heroes and Entourage. I saw videos by other paparazzi sites but Im not plugging them here out of respect for Jared.
The other crime editors and paparazzis do is naming other stars with other celebs. They need spelling checks or laser surgery for their eyes.

Good observation. The true “Hollywood Elite” do not want to be associated with TomKat since they are a big joke. Dignified actors/actresses in Hollywood have no interest in becoming friends of the Beckhams.
Anybody take a poll right now and everyone will tell you that the Becks are way hotter than Brangelina. David is way hotter than Brad Pitt and Angelina would look better than Victoria if she didnt look so anorexic. There is no question that Victoria beats Angelina in the fashion department. I think we all could agree there. Everytime the Beckhams step out in public they look like a million bucks, sorry cant say the same for Brangelina. So overall the Beckhams win. Move over Brangelina there is new and younger and hotter meat in town. Yeah!
Im happy to see Nat King Cole,Gerard Butler and some of the cast from Matrix. The photogs should learn to showcase the directors and producers too.
Its a crime to ignore Michael Bay,Bruckheimer and other studio CEOS and COO’s. We enjoy movies because of this guys.

ummmmm…Prue, Nat King Cole is dead. He died in 1965. So what do you mean you are “happy to see” …. do you mean like in dead people? Because there was no way he was at this party. Which, by the way, really didn’t have that great of a guest list; alot of names are coming up as being there. However, where is the picture proof?
