Fashion Faceoff: Prada Dress

Debra Messing walked the red carpet in a black Prada dress at the NYC premiere of Damages last week (Her husband Daniel Zelman is one of the producers for the new FX series.) The former Will & Grace star finished off her look with tied-off brown belt, huge hoop earrings and a dark clutch.

Kate Beckinsale wore the same Prada dress in white while out Father’s Day shopping with hubby Len Wiseman and their daughter Lily in Beverly Hills last month. The Underworldly star also accessorized with a brown belt but opted for a pair of Stella McCartney “Sea Grass” Wedges.

i don’t really say either, don’t really like the dress but kate looks better. the color’s all wrong on debra, which is too bad cause usually she looks great. :)

this is not a great dress, in fact it’s horrible. I can’t think of anyone who would look good in it. it looks like a bedsheet, twisted, tied and belted. no thanks.

I’m with you dancingqueen, Lily is by far the best dressed of this trio.

Whether the dress is black or white it really doesn’t matter, does it? It literally looks like a sack tied in the middle.

i like it on kate better. the dress isnt that bad…i can imagine runaway models pulling off a prada piece. kate looks better because the colour is nicer. this dress is more casual…shouldn’t be worn to a premiere. also, kate’s shoes and hair is nicer. sandals match this dress more because its more summery. debra doesn’t look that bad but it just looks better on a hip and younger girl.

Not a big fan of the dress. If I had a gun to my head, I’d pick Kate, though…simply because the dress seems more suited to a casual summer afternoon than a red carpet affair!
