When he said he hoped the party won’t end up in the press, I think he meant that the he hoped he didn’t party until like crazy (like a certain Lohan) to be worthy of bad press. He seems very grounded. Must be his parents.

I like that even for the main and relatively large role he does [considering he is the main character in the HP series], he doesn’t necessarily act like some celebrity and have a hunger for attention.

Oh he is just adorable, and having a low key party for his b-day is great, he sure doesn’t like the spotlight, and I’m glad mum Marcia still looking after her son, you never know what kind of girls are out there looking for young good looking millioners!

Schmoo, I hear you! In the last movie I was thinking, “woo, he’s cute” and then I reminded myself he was only 17 at that time. Sheesh!

Also, did you notice the title? “Radcliffe parties with Mummy.” You know, I said a while ago that the moron paparazzi either tries to paint Dan as an innocent child figure or a dirty man-***** and this proves it. This article seemed to try to do both, though: showing pictures of Dan clearly drunk while at the same time giving a dippy title, as though they’re trying to undermine Dan’s drunkenness by pointing out the presence of mummy.

Is it a bad thing to celebrate your birthday with family now? And why should having a parent there stop you getting drunk? Not everyone hides everything from their parents! And I’m sure he’s seen them have one too many!

I don’t know why it made me mad to see that papparazzi following him around. I hope things die down for him so he can live a semi-normal life. I am glad that he had a good time on his birthday. He is so low key and that is why I like so much about him. Also, he is of age now!!!! Yes!!!! LOL……It is cool that he is still close to his family. He isn’t trying to grow up too fast.

lol… Emm_T you’re right. What kind of girl would want a “young good looking millioners?” If anything they’d probably want a millionaire. Besides, you obviously would be one of those girls, although I have a feeling you’re a little young for him.

He seems to have enjoyed the booze lots, and a lot of it too. Had to be steered into his front door by a handler. If this is how he ushers in being 18 I wonder what he will do when he is 19? Another even more boozy birthday? A guy who likes his booze can always find an excuse to consume it. Hope he gets control before it’s too late.
